I use a 2.0ohm at 5v on a regulated PV, so you would be fine, but keep it wet & be ready for the heat!

I think 1.8, 2.2, & 2.8 were trail to see if vapers would go for them. I'm pretty sure the 2 lower resistances were a big hit and some are using the 2.8s @ 6V. I expect to see them all back in the future.

DANG....I really wanted a 2.2! I don't like vaping 3.7v with 1.5 or even 2.0 ohm attys....it's just too hot for my taste. I like the standard 510 attys but I'd like them just a little hotter and I think 2.2 would be ideal.
The reason I hate LR is because it doesn't even compare to HV. I am really annoyed by this new obsession with LR. Every time I go to buy an atty I have to wade through all the LR's to find the one listing for a SR atty. I vape 2.5-2.8ohm at 5.4-5.7v.
I equate HV with full flavor, 3.7v + LR atty with lights, and 3.7v + SR atty with Ultra Lights. JMHO
I think you'd like the BF Hybrid at 2.5ohms.
It's a very nice vape.
