Thanks Eddie & Ryedan... I actually have 2 different 510 adapters that I tried last night and they both will work and the Igo-L sits very flush on the XL with either one. One is actually a little longer than the other. I do see that I will need an o-ring to go between the adapter and the inner wall of the XL. I just think that it will leak out the top and to the inside of the shell possibly. Can't say as yet. I need to go pick up some o-rings and get to drilling. I think I will practice on the Squid that I have just so I don't screw up the Igo-L on the first go round. Thanks again guys...

On mine I would occasionally get a little liquid in around the chassis. You wouldn't notice until you removed the shell and it was minimal. The squid is a brass center post. Much easier and don't forget to use a drop of vegetable oil.as cutting oil. Unless of course you have actual cutting oil. Rinse thoroughly after. Post pics when you're done...

Oh muzic, buy extra #60 and#61 bits. They break real easy especially on SS and if you're doing it by hand like me...

A press helps greatly I'm sure. Literally the only tool I don't have...lol

I bought a #55 bit for drilling through the +pin on the Igo-L, but wasn't sure what gauge to cross drill the post. I was thinking it was in or around #60-65, somewhere... Thanks.

Almost forgot, I bought 2 different o-rings for it. 5/16 x 7/16 x 1/16 and 5/16 x 1/2 x 3/32... The 7/16 od seemed to work the best for now. Will see after the atty is drilled.

this is what the Vmod feed system is like stock. how it's supposed to work is the feed will reach the atty while only filling the overflow tank maybe 25% or so, then on the return suction it would suck the overflow back in. this of course is not used with an RBA though and was designed strictly for carto's and disposable atty type use

putting an o ring at the top seals the top of the chamber off from leaking, but doesn't stop the chamber from still collecting and holding fluid. biggest concern there might be building up crud eventually? or mixing of old flavor with new? but if you do get it sealed up well probably not that big of a deal I guess. if your not opposed to disassembling the Vmod head you can then use an o ring at the bottom of the tank instead of the top, sealing off the entrance to the tank itself, and converting the Vmod to a more conventional type squeeze box setup rendering the whole overflow tank setup eliminated at that point.

the best way to open the head up is to find a socket that fits inside of the upper outer threads for the cone, maybe a 5/16th socket or so? then just push from the top. you must remove the firing spring from the firing pin first. once you push it and get it to move a little then remove the ground spring too and push the chamber all the way out. if the top part winds up moving down with the whole assy then you can push the whole thing out through the bottom too, either way it just pushes out from the top.

Thank's again to Eddie and Ryedan... I finally got around to taking some pics of the Igo-L on top of my XL. If you saw the pics of Ryedan's, mine was drilled exactly like his.

Just a little background first. As far as drilling it, I used a Dremel w/ #55 & 60 drill bits. I don't have a drill press so I improvised. I made a nylon spacer to fit over the +post, (1/8" ID x 3/16" od x same length as the post), and held it on with a washer and the screw that holds the wire on. Proceeded to drill the cross hole, (#61 bit), in the post. The spacer helped keep the bit from walking and kept it straight centered. It took 2 bits to drill it as the first was dull by the time I went through the first side. Drilling down through the post, (#55 bit), took all of about 30 seconds to drill. It was a little off centered through the bottom, but feeds excellent. I am not convinced the posts in the atty are SS because it went through very quickly. I wish someone would've told me the post comes out of the atty though. Much easier to drill with it out of the atty. Goes right back it nice and easy. Anyway, been enjoying the Igo-L on my XL for over 24hrs now and very pleased. It took a little more time than usual to change the battery in it this morning, but its all good....

Here are some pics of it... Please excuse all the nicks, scrapes, and gouges in the cover, as it is my all day every day vape. It has been dropped from ladders and the roof of the house a month ago, as well as being thrown down and maybe kicked across the floor once or twice!!! On accident, of course...

Thought I would share a funny story from today...

Last night I was looking at the REOmizer 2.0 RBA, (thought about possibly buying one as it is made specifically for a bottom feeder), and saw the box that said, "Ask a question about this product", so I clicked on it and entered my info and asked..."What are the dimensions of the REOmizer 2.0?". Very simple question, I thought? Rob replied to me this morning with...wait for it..."Hello Mike the atomizer works with all of the metal mods I sell from the mini to the vv grand"

That my friends, IN MY OPINION, is shoddy customer service!!! It seemed as though he never even read the question... Will it only work on one of his mods? I thought I saw pics and posts of them on Bogger's, Vmods, and a few others... I could be wrong though!!!

He should of answered the question agreed but, the man is very hands on. Can't think of any other owner like that. I'll post exact dimensions of the rm2 later. No time now to measure. Long day.
IMO you're better off saving your money since you're capable of modifying an RDA. I'm not impressed with it. I had to drill out one of my posts. An entirely new hole since the almost none existent one that was there was completely misaligned. For $43 I shouldn't have to do that. Not huge though. The feed hole is on the bottom and recessed which allows dripped liquid to mix with the bottle liquid. Ruined one, almost whole bottle as it drew some completely different liquid in. Last, for me and my SS wicks I'd prefer a centered post and an offset one. Rather than two offset posts. Allow more room for my wicks to wrap around and sit on the base more flush and absorb liquid more efficiently.

Positives are, decent construction, screwed top cap that aligns perfectly, ceramic inner base, work fairly well with REO, and a good size on the REO because a decent sized portion sits in the catch cup... Would sit up and out on our vmods..

I'll post pictures and dimensions later...
