He should of answered the question agreed but, the man is very hands on. Can't think of any other owner like that. I'll post exact dimensions of the rm2 later. No time now to measure. Long day.
IMO you're better off saving your money since you're capable of modifying an rda. I'm not impressed with it. I had to drill out one of my posts. An entirely new hole since the almost none existent one that was there was completely misaligned. For $43 I shouldn't have to do that. Not huge though. The feed hole is on the bottom and recessed which allows dripped liquid to mix with the bottle liquid. Ruined one, almost whole bottle as it drew some completely different liquid in. Last, for me and my SS wicks I'd prefer a centered post and an offset one. Rather than two offset posts. Allow more room for my wicks to wrap around and sit on the base more flush and absorb liquid more efficiently.

Positives are, decent construction, screwed top cap that aligns perfectly, ceramic inner base, work fairly well with REO, and a good size on the REO because a decent sized portion sits in the catch cup... Would sit up and out on our vmods..

I'll post pictures and dimensions later...

Thanks Eddie... I was only interested as it was made specifically for a BF. I was more curious as to what the dimensions were to get an idea of what it would look like on the XL. I am really enjoying the Igo-L very much so far. I really like the look of it on the XL. I don't think I would like a smaller based atty on it, but entertained the thought. The Igo-L looks like it was made for my XL. I am just surprised about the email from Rob as the other crowd touted how superior he, (and his CS), was and yet to me, I get the feeling like he never even read my question and just assumed I had one of his devices!! I chalk it up to either he is too busy to pay attention to what is being asked or he doesn't really care because it is just a $50 item and not one of the overpriced mods he sells. Regardless, IMO, shoddy CS. I feel like I was completely blown off. Just reaffirms my decision not to own one of his devices or accessories!!

Outer diameter 15mm. Total height including 510 27mm.
Top to lowest inner base 22mm. Top to outer lower base 18mm. Inner lower base diameter 12mm.
Doesn't fit on my vmod without the 510 adapter

Would look odd I believe and not secure the shell because the inner lower base fits within the shell but, not the chamber. It's a MUST have for the REO, not the vmod...

I wonder why they didn't just cut the deck flat on the reo and flush mount a flush atty? maybe the little bump is the only thing keeping it from really just looking like a too simple square box? plus that atty design pretty much insures most will just buy that instead of another somewhere else I guess, I do def like the ceramic funnel base I just don't like how much chrome plated brass there is, I'd rather have 100% stainless steel in an atty I think, the igo's are great for what they are, prolly one of the best bargains in advanced vaping equipment

Thanks for the info Eddie... It just dawned on me it has a step and isn't symetrical top to bottom. I can see where that would be an eyesore, besides being able to keep the shell on. I wouldn't buy it now anyway. I sent an email asking the dimensions again yesterday at 9am and still no answer from him... I still question the stellar CS that is thrown in our faces all the time, yet I have been waiting almost 48hrs now for an answer! Time to move on... On a more positive note, the Igo-L looks great on the XL and the vape is even better than on my other mechanical... Oh yeah...

They integrated the catch cup to hold the excess liquid from over feeding... Kind of like a reservoir, due to liquid not being able to return to the bottle because of how the feeding system works.

That's my design. Flush mount with a little trick for either atomizer or rba... Also a nice switch that stays ON or OFF. No more drifting between...I have these things covered. Still working on a body design that will remain solid feeling and not rattle with wear...

I grabbed my vmod today for the first time in awhile because I'm giving the REO an honest evaluation and it just feels so much more pleasant. Not nearly as solid but, there's a medium there between the two..

I had some time to take pics of how I modded the Igo-L for my XL and share them with everyone, (especially Crocky)....

Started w/ Igo-L and a 510/510 unsealed adapter... Yes, the hole is a little off center coming down through the +post, but still works exceptionally well...

Cut nylon spacer to drill through +post for feed hole. I don't have a drill press so I had to improvise. You can buy the spacer from just about any hardware store.

Wrapped, mounted, tested, fired, and put cotton on coil and presto...

Question for all of you rba modders. I just got 3 rba's in the mail (Squid. IGO-L,& a Scar), 1st attempt at modding an rba for my VMod XL. I'm starting with the Squid simply because it looks like it's going to be the easiest and because I like how the top cap screws on. My question is my base appears to be different than the one Eddie posted here. Mine has a hole in the top part of the base where the +/- post are. Also the bottom battery post connection isn't slotted, it's flat. Question is, when I drill from the bottom, should I just drill straight up through the deck. It doesn't appear to line up with either +/- post. See the pics & give me ya'lls opinions on how to proceed, any suggestions are appreciated.

You may not need to drill anything for the liquid to feed there. I saw that one on fast tech just recently. The air intakes are the traditional two little holes on the upper outer 510 connection. It may feed without any modding or not.

However you will need to drill the top cap for an air intake once attached to the Vmod. The lower intake will be cut off. If not by the o-ring sealing the chamber, then by liquid blocking and gurgling...

Well, I just finished my Squid mod and my first coil build and success!! :vapor: Big thanks goes to this thread and all of the tutorials provided, they were a big help and took a lot of the guess work out of the equation. One thing I would do differently is I would drill the top cap one size smaller. I used a 1/16th drill bit, drilled one hole, and it's on the airy side, especially after using mostly slant coils. First cotton wick coil build went amazingly easy, again thanks to this thread & others that I have read on the subject. I did drill out the 510/510adapter air holes on both sides to aid in liquid delivery. It still takes a harder sqwoonk than it did with the slant coils, so I may play with that some. I also did have to use two O-rings to keep it from leaking out the top where it contacts the VMod. All in all though, I'm happy with it. I now have a rebuildable to use along with the way expensive slant coil atty's. Tomorrow we shall see how it looks with my wood cover, I think it's going to look "tree"-men-dus!!! Oh, P.S. Just about finished the 2.0 woody, just have to stain & wax, and build the bottom + add magnets. Vape On VModders!

Ebay sells swivel vises and wire drill bits as they're called..I've found most standard air inlets are #62,61,60 in wire bit sizes..buy the 10 packs. They break easy if you use them to drill for feeding. Won't break nearly as easy just doing the top cap...I'm sure you'll mod something else in the near future though...it's what we do

Yeah Eddie, I probably will, I'm finishing the 2.0 woody and will probably put an rba on it too. The drill bit sizes you mentioned, none in my stash have those type numbers, they're all in standard, though I do have quite a few smaller than 1/16th that I used on the squid top cap. Live & learn I guess, should have started small & enlarged if need be. Do you know a good way to plug & redrill the airhole that I did?
