Mornin all. Hope y'all are having a great AM!
I'm having a bit of an issue with one of my Vivi's. When I get up in the morning, it seems to have leaked a bit from the base. I store them standing up, which is how I know the base is leaking. I'm going to take it apart and give it good cleaning. Hopefully, that will fix the problem.
Other than that, no real news. Tracking my orders; hopefully things will start arriving tomorrow or Thursday.
I'm off to get ready for class. Y'all have a great day!

Looks like the Gripper VV, if I'm not mistaken.
You are correct.

I've been wanting to try one of those and maybe use it instead of my eGo setup for when I'm out. What's your initial thoughts on it?
I haven't touched my Vmax since I got it this morning. I am planning to do a commercial review later this week. I can't really give any detailed feedback on this part of the forum or the mods will swoop down from on high and pwn me for breakin' the rules. But I am pretty sure that I can say that any device running an imr high drain 18650 is going to out-perform pretty much any ego (vv or not). :)

Mornin lizards. Hope y'all are having a great AM!
Looks like a comfortable device Mac. And I agree about the 18650 v/ego thing. :D
Well, I broke down and bought another carto tank last night. There was a discussion over at the Trippy Tips thread and somebody popped up with this link:
Triple V Pyrex 4ml Tank

A glass tank for $13? How could I say no? Anyway, it gives me something else to hang one of my new prettys off of. monkey2.gif

Arggh! I gots me booty today! (Apparently today's Talk like a Pirate day, lol). Seriously, I got 2 more T2s from Stormy Vapors as well as Kanthal wire, along with 2 more Phoenix RBAs that I bought off of the classys this weekend, as well as silica wicks and wire. These 2 seriously outperform the 1 I got earlier. Now I just have to try to make my own.

Absolutely agree on the 18650 and performance, although I don't have any issues with the performance or battery life on my 900 mAh Twist. I'll probably end up getting a Gripper VV because I really like the style and it's been getting good reviews.

Nice! I've got quite the collection of T2s as well, with one in every color except yellow. I was going to get that Pheonix clone from DV, but then I heard that Phiniac will be offering the new Cobra RBA tank with etched glass next month, so I think I'll wait on that one instead. Also going to be getting an IBTanked XL glass carto tank as soon as they get the SS end caps back in stock. I've been doing so good on curbing the vaping purchases lately that I deserve a new toy or three! :D

Oh Chrissy one thing I forgot to mention when using atties....and one of the most important things so your atties have a nice long life...never let them get too dry!! When you're using them if you are waiting until you are getting a "dry" hit until you refill you are waiting too long!! you will burn through your atties in days rather than weeks! Believe me, I know I went through $50-$100 in atties before I figured out why I was burning through them so fast not to mention having to buy my Provari and I only figured it out then because my baby was giving me helpful error codes ;)

I wonder how much money my Provari actually saved me!?!?

Oh and I have a nice new shiny Zmax on the way... I'm so excited to try VW!!!

Hey Cheeky, I'm having a leaky problem with my Reo....any suggestions? I‘m thinking I need to put more nalox (or whatever the name of that stuff is) around the cap...think that could be my issue?

Hugs and kisses all around. Miss y'all like peanut butter misses jelly!!!!

Ok Mythus....when you get a chance....I have questions about dripping. I did get an atty and have used it a couple times, but I only want to use it for taste testing juices (at the current time.) So I pop it on and drip into like 5 drops and put on the drip tip and take a puff....and wow...it worked. I'm taste testing a juice. Well....it turned out that juices was awful and I have a couple of others I want to taste test.

At this point, I don't know what to do. I decide to make it up as I go. What did I do in that moment? I wrapped the atty in a papertowel and blew air in either side to clean it out (I got juice all over my lips and in my mouth in the process)...right? wrong? I assume it worked, because I then filled it with a different juice it carried over a little of the taste for a couple of drags, but then took on the flavor of the other juice.

So, due to the mouthful of juice I got from cleaning it with a few drips still in it, the next time I vaped it til it started to taste dry before cleaning the atty the same way as before. No mouth full of juice....but thanks to your guidance.....letting the atty get dry to save on mouth of juice is naughty.....

Long story short.....help me!

Well...I tried to view the video that Mac posted but the stupid app won't pass through to the web... ugh......anyway I would say if you just wanted to taste some juice you were 95% of they way there, just blow out from the battery end into a paper towel. You'll still get a little juice on your lips but not much and u can rinse right away;) oh and if you are going a while between atty uses don't store them dry either leave a drip or 2 of either very clear juice or better yet, I use a couple drops of plain PG/VG, and cover it with one of the carto condoms :D

Hope I helped!!

You can also buy atty's that come de-bridged. You can drip into cartos too. It's MUCH easier to get a flavor out of an atty then a carto. But a lot of people don't know that you can add a drop or two to the hole on the bottom of 808 and 510 cartomizers and the suckers will slurp them right in. As opposed to the traditional adding a few drops to the top which just makes the flavor blend this wets the wire and puts the flavor out front. (it only works for a puff or two though and gets harder to accomplish after the first 20-30 puffs) Debridged atomizers are the champ for dripping based on what I have seen so far. But to be honest it's too much trouble for me unless I am using them for demonstration purposes at work.

It's ironic. My job is my hobby. So by default my hobby has become work. Because of this anytime I pursue my hobby in my free time it feels like work. But I'm addicted to both so I just can't seem to stop. Even more ironic is that I come to a forum dedicated to my hobby/job and participate heavily in it's off topic sections to get away from work.

I'm not complaining. It's actually pretty awesome. Although I think I'm more addicted to my job and this forum then I ever was to cigarettes.

Mornin all! Hope y'all are having a great AM!
Chrissy, I've always had issues with dripping. I either got dry burn or flooded my atty. It's gotten better since I got a Phoenix rebuildable. It holds 15 drops of juice so I have fewer issues.
Mac, I'm reminded of the adage "If you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life". I was a successful CPA who decided to go into academia. I've never regretted it.
Had a great vape-mail yesterday! Got a red twist and my 3 new trippy tips! pianobanana.gif

Hoping to get juice from Heather's and Mr. E today as well as a new pyrex tank. BTW, what do y'all know about Virgin vapor? I was considering ordering replacement heads for my vivi from there, and I like the idea of their juices. All organic, shipped in glass bottles. They're expensive, but I'm probably going to try some of their juices.

Anyway, hope y'all have a great day! Vape On!

Mythus: Sweet....ok, so I was mostly there. Awesome. I tried it again today and it worked pretty well for some new juices I received today.

I won a contest to try some of MaddCatt Vapor's juices and got a bottle of their Vanilla Cupcake, Flamingo, Fresh Apple, Jolly Apple, and Plain Ol'. Love the first three...last two taste like vaping an evergreen. Don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing yet.

I finally met the first MEL juice I couldn't stand.....Banana Ice. I like Ice flavors, I like banana flavors...but the two just didn't combine well for me. *sigh* Oh well.

Oh and Mac, after watching the video and glancing at my atty, it is already debridged for dripping purposes. Thanks for the video though!

Woohoo! Got my juices in today! Green_monster.gif

I got the following and did a quick steep. Here's my initial thoughts:
Arnie Pullman - I didn't like it at all at first. However, the more I vaped, the more I liked! BTW, I tried them using my phoenix RBA
Throwback Cola - Wow! I wasn't expecting to like it. I've tried other colas and was quite unimpressed. This is awesome! It was good on my atty' it's stellar in my T2. Tastes just like original coke (I know; most of you are too young to remember what I'm referencing )
I wasn't impressed with Orange Cream and Sexy Beach. I'm not sure if I was still riding high off of the cola. I'll give them another try, as well as the Lemon Ice and Berry -a-Peelin (a freebie) later.

Hey Reidus what a great vapeday!!! Congrats!! VV was one of the first vendors I tried.... I liked them at first but nothing I fell in love with... one of their most popular flavors mocha kona milk shake something to me was yucky...but I liked their citrus stuff but I suggest adding sweetener. But then again. That was before I really knew what was out there... maybe I gotta break em out again and take a puff or two???

Bummer you didn't like Sexy beach right away.....I found it so delightful!!
