Argh! Have you ever had one of those evenings where none of your juices taste good? Is there anything I can do about it?

LOL VG is good for a variety of purposes, including use on scratches, rashes, etc, which I guess is why they put it in the first aid sectionStraight VG that hasn't been cut (distilled water, alcohol), is pretty syrupy in consistency, and is probably best for dripping rather than cartos or tanks.
The vast majority of my juice is 50/50 - it's a good blend for tanks, in part because it isn't too thick to wick, or so thin that it floods (sounds kind of like a Goldilocks conundrum!).
Using up juice you aren't fond of is perfect in this time of woe - vape it now and you won't mind that it's kinda crummy lol
I haven't tried boiling cartos yet, but I can tell you that they sometimes need a few days to dry completely - if any water remains, the draw will suck, and you'll hate them. Give them more time to dry and see if that helps. Also, if you're in a humid environment (um Louisiana counts as humid...), drying them outside may not be the best of ideas if you actually want them to drySome people use a hair dryer on a low setting, I just use time & patience
Glad you found us before you got ...... off & lit up this time! The funky buds can last a few days (sorry), but they'll come back soon, and your juices will be wonderful again. Expect it to happen once in a while - if a juice junkie like me can't find a single pleasing juice some days (you have my list now & know just how much of a junkie I am!), then trust that it's normal & happens to everyone![]()

Oh, and they also had a recipe for what sounds like a home-made drip shield; take a carto, gut it and you're good to drip. Any thought?
Ohohoh!!! Drip shields! No worries about the 901 thing - I had the same concerns & thought I'd have to use 901s lol all you need is a 510-510 adapter to make the 510 atty sit up a bit higher, and you'll be fine with the 901 drip shield - I honestly think all of the sites should more accurately describe them/add a little note stating that 510s can be used with a 510-510 adapter (assuming the PV you're using it on is 510 native).
I haven't had any problems with a tight chest & cartos, so I can't comment on it, but you might want to send your mom a care package with some atties, a drip shield & an adapter so she can try it for herself
I hope some/all of the above makes sense - I'm sleep deprived this morning!![]()
).
LOL! I almost did the same thing with the atties I got with my kit - I hated the darn things!
I'd go with one or two each of LR & SR so that you can get a feel for them, but if you're not using VV, you will probably be happier with the LR - you might find one in a package coming your way
Warning about atties: Most are primed in a godawful fluid prior to shipping. It tastes like... blerg. Horrible, wretched, disgusting, nasty stuff! When my first kit arrived, I forgot all about blowing it out (or soaking in vodka) prior to use, so I dripped into it, took a HUGE puff & immediately wanted to hurl, thought I'd made a horrible decision in buying a kGo & wanted to wash my mouth out with soap. ICK. It took a minute or so to realize that there was primer in that bad boy... once I stopped wanting to remove my tastebuds, I blew it out, blew it out again, then another couple of times for good measure, added a few more drops of juice, took a tentative puff & was muuuuuch happier. BUT I was still atty shy for a few months, and hated them until the first drip shield arrived - then I dripped almost exclusively for a few weeks![]()
Good to hear. That might be part of the reason I tossed them, lol. Blow it out means to heat the coils, but not inhale, right?
