So, I stepped away from the computer like a good girl today. Unfortunately, this landed me at a local cake and candy-making supply shop.

So, now that I have 25 bottles of candy flavoring, and a little bottle of VG (with larger bottles of both PG and VG coming), I think I've taken the plunge into DIY-ing juice. *cough* I don't have any nicotine solution coming yet -- wanna see if I can make blends that I like the taste of, first. But... well, yeah. If that ends up being any cheaper than BUYING juice...

... of course, I also had an ECBlend order and an order from GenXVapor show up today, and I'm happily vaping GenX's "XYZinger", which tastes just like those raspberry-coconut Zinger snack cakes. I grew up eating those as often as I could get my greedy little hands on 'em. I do believe I've found nirvana. I haven't even OPENED the ECBlend order because of this GenX juice.

Which brand did you pick up LadyPixel, and how did you find a cake & candy making supply shop?? I'd love to shop local for the flavorings to DIY, but I haven't had much luck locating any.

I've known this place existed for a decade or more -- but I hadn't even considered going there until the other day, when it clicked in my head that if nowhere else did, THEY would have flavorings I could vape. See what vaping does to us? It's all about finding MOAR VAPE STUFF! I have all Lorann flavorings at the moment, but I'm seriously considering adding some Flavor Apprentice stuff to that after my next payday, since the FA flavors include the cake batter/waffle/etc flavors that Lorann doesn't have.

BUT! Look at the Flavor Apprentice section of this website, and pipe-dream of the day that you, too, are using stuff like this to make your own juice: Perfumer's Apprentice

Great...NOW I am forced to order more juice....rasberry coconut zingers were my absolute favorite treat as a kid.

Oh, let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. I absolutely love this juice, and right off the bat, I know I'll be getting more of XYZinger when this runs out. I also have a bottle of their Lemonberry Muffin sitting next to me, and a bottle of their Chai Spice Latte. Both smell decadent (Lemonberry Muffin is next on my to-vape list). My husband immediately ran off with the bottle of Great Melon Balls of Fire, and I don't think I'll ever see that bottle again.

Hello Vapaholics!

As many of you already know, there is a documentary in the works titled WE ARE VAPERS. The movie is being made by a bunch of really great people who are donating their time and talent to bring attention to the vaping movement, but in order to get the movie into production, they need to raise $20,000 THIS SATURDAY MARCH 31st at 11:59pm. They are almost to their goal, but as of tonight, they are still short by $4,370.

A group of our proactive friends to the north came up with a truly wonderful raffle idea to get the rest of the money raised -
I know most of us on this thread have spent quite a bit of money on vaping because it is not only fun and tasty(!), but it is also saving our lives.

This is an opportunity for all of us to contribute to raising awareness of vaping as a viable alternative to stinkies, AND have the chance to win the mod of your choice

completely understand ladypixel! After my crazy shopping binges in the last couple of weeks, I'm right there with you with the tight budget - luckily tomorrow is another payday for me, otherwise I'd either be pulling money out of another account or asking Iron Monkey, and thats a convo I don't want to have!

I'll have to add tropical punch to the wish list! Favorites include, but are not limited to:
Peach Cantaloupe - juicy, fresh & natural tasting - it's in regular rotation, and is great straight from the mailmans hands
Pear - again, juicy, fresh & natural tasting - they have a way with fruits, again great when it arrives!
White Peach ala Zoe - phenomenal juicy peach with white chocolate and a hint of something else - this one needs about a week of steeping to hit it's stride. Only so-so straight from the mailbox, but I can't put it down after steeping!
Thin Mint Cookie - another that needs about a week of steeping. Straight from the mailbox it's meh, but after a week or so? Spot on GS cookie thin mint flavor! The BEST thin mint I've tasted from any vendor, and it saved me from buying any GS cookies this year - yes, it is that good!
Dragons Blood - I demolished a 50ml of this in about 2 weeks (after steeping of course), and burned myself out on it, so I didn't get a bottle in my last order - kicking myself for that now!

Anything coffee or caramel seems to need time to steep, as do any of their more complex juices, but the regular fruits all seem to be perfect straight from the mail. The all natural & organics are great, but seem to need a little time to steep - not sure if it's the flavoring or the 100% vg that causes it, but the black raspberry is perfect after a few days of steeping!

Iron Monkey loves their Cherry Swirl after a few days of steeping, and also enjoys their Vanilla Bourbon Cigar. I've really only a handful of duds, and the majority of those were my own creations

Nice! The White Peach ala Zoe was already on my list of flavors to try so this just confirms it, and the Thin Mint Cookie and Black Raspberry is now on my list as well. Thanks much for the recommends!

Hey there vapaholics. Been a few days since I've been around, feel like I missed a ton! First was my doc visit, which took an entire day since it was 3 hours from home. And we have daily drama with the drug addict step-daughter... her two kids were taken from her, they live with her mother. The mother's husband had enough and moved out so now she is solely responsible for those two babies. And then the other night the step-daughter got arrested for shoplifting... it's been a couple years of thinking she's finally sunk to an all time low,, but she just keeps getting lower and lower. Apparently she won't be happy until she's either in a jail cell or dead. Then last night there was an explosion at hubby's work and most of his department burned. Still no idea if he will have a job. Good thing I have a big supply of vaping material... should be enough to get me through for a few months if he gets laid off because of the fire. Boy,,, sometimes life sucks. Perhaps a little Dragon's Blood would make me feel better

Just found this thread and wanted to join, I have been vaping since July of 11. I started with green smoke, moved through a couple others, and now use a Maximum Vapors vv woodie as my all day pv. I have tried liquids from 17+ vendors and approx 15 hardware vendors. Does that make me a vap o holic? Well, I can tell u my husband and my kids think so. Lol I am currently waiting on a pkg of liquids from prime vaping, they had an awesome sale, and since I had never tried them I decided to give them a go. I also won a coupon from a new vendor mountain oaks, so I have a pkg coming from them too. I am also going to Chicago this weekend for vapefest and Vapebash, so I am sure that will help my addiction right along as well, lol.

Is anyone here going?

Aww Luvinit You've had a really rough couple of days! I hope the doctor at least gave you some hope, that your hubby still has a job (or will at least get some sort of compensation if they do have to lay people off until they rebuild - and thankfully he wasn't hurt!), and that your stepdaughter gets the help she needs. I'm sorry that the mom's husband left - they took on a huge responsibility with the babies. Maybe he just needs a few days to breathe and take stock. Can you have the stepdaughter forcibly sent to rehab or speak with the judge/prosecutor & request court ordered rehab? You've probably already tried it, but it might be worth another shot.

I have to confess to yet another juice order...bought a few new flavors from EC Blends, as well as some stuff I can use to modify/alter some flavors I have that I don't like very much. I figure I'll play around with some of my "duds" before I throw them out. One cool idea is I bought some of their sweetener, for a few of my juices that just don't seem sweet enough for the flavors they are supposed to be.

I mean, if I can fix the duds I'm "saving" money, right?

Oh, I also bought some flavorless 36 mg nic I can use to play with my own flavors (using locally bought Vg)...slowly moving toward DIY.

Oh, I also ordered all the flavors I bought double my normal nic and double flavor, which is only slightly more...and I can dilute them to my normal nic with plain VG.

I'm going to start DIY my own "single notes" also.

Thanks for the warm welcome cheeky! I love making new vaping friends since I am the only vaper I know. I get rather lonely and end up spending way way too much time on ecf, lol. Glad to know I am not alone,.....er... Well I am still alone, just not lonely, o u know what I mean right?

I am seeing a few posts about ecblends, are you guys fans of them? I know they have great prices, but I have never tried them.....yet, lol. I order alot from Altcig (I love Boodle, she's the BEST) and I also really love Highbrow, when I can afford it or they have a sale, Bryan is a true craftsman and another super great vendor. Most of my hardware comes from Vaping Zone, they have the best non sale prices for the things I use, I also like Hoosier ecig supply, he has good prices also. Who do u prefer for hardware? O and for my mods I gotta give kudos to Todd at Maximum Vapors, he is wonderful, and has very reasonable prices for his mods, he should have some new ones on his site any day now. If u get a chance check him out.
