Now, that's funny!! You're just like the rest of us, ego-fan.. I have pretty red KGOs,, and this week I should be getting a nice metallic blue AND a pretty metallic green... there's always new bling out there..
Glen... good luck with the dripping,, I have no luck whatsoever with it.. I keep trying. Once in a great while I'll get a decent hit but it never lasts very long before I get that nasty metal taste... it's just not for me, I guess. I'm only a few months in too and boy, have I learned a lot here!! Even my recommendations for start-up kits has changed dramatically.. huge learning curve with this stuff.. but it's fun!!
You'll have to excuse me now.. I gotta go balance the checkbook and see how much damage I did to myself last night and this morning... NO MORE BUYING.. at least for a couple days!
The meet is at AJs in Largo - details here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...5-suncoast-vapers-meet-saturday-apr-21st.html . I can help you with the dripping - come sit next to me - I'll be the curly haired girl with the pretty pink cane
Yes, you can vape it straight up, it will give you the cool throat hit, but zero flavor.
hey Glen - where is Nobelton? If you can make it, you'll find a big, boisterous group of vapers! Last month there were more than 20 of us, all vaping our heads off, tasting different juices & talking about our vaping. Or, in my case (first vape meet!), asking a billion questions about all of the mods and things I'd only seen online, but never in person!!!
Of course, that was the start of my spending spree - I only had a kGo and an Ego-T at the time, not a single mod to my name - now I have a maxi roughstack V2, a goldrush, a REO Grand, an red lavatube on it's way to me in the morning, and a black lavatube on a slow boat from china waiting to arrive at my door... (omg... seeing it in writing is a little scary - they've all been purchased since March 26th, and the Ego T was purchased the week before)
Once again.. My name is cheeky, and I'm a vapaholic....
Sounds good! I'm pretty stoked about it.. I was looking at that post in the classys when they called me for my MRI.. I thought, for sure somebody is gonna snap that up before I can get back to it! I was pretty surprised it was still there.. I'll hop on over to youtube and watch some vid's.. but not tonight.. headed to bed.. hope all the 'holics have a great night!!
Evenin fellow vape-aholics!! Long day for me,, three hour ride to Vermont for an MRI,,, then a three hour ride home! Good to be home, in my jammies, checkin up on my peeps! GLEN.. I don't know what pv you're using but a guy in another thread just told me to get a Cisco LR 306 bridgeless atty to use on my KGO for testing juices.. he says they're the absolute best and easiest for that purpose. Hell, I'm gonna give it a shot, it's gotta be better than wasting carto's on icky juice!!
Now... I know you just bought the Lavatube, and are looking at 306 atties (I've heard great things, too!), but one more thing I can't recommend enough is a drip shield! I just got 2 of them last week, and they make a WORLD of difference with dripping - they take the mess right out of it!
I'm currently using the Joyetech eGo-C batteries @ 3.3v and I'm enjoying a decent vaping experience on this format so far. I do like the form factor and I'll probably be getting the new eGo-C Twist (variable 3.2v to 4.8v) when it comes out next month. I was looking at the Cisco atties for potential dripping because both the original 306 and the HH.357 are getting great reviews, but I'm not sure they'll even work on the new Twist batter as the specs specifically say not to use on eGo style batteries. I'll need to do more research on that, and I may be forced to get yet another PV (OH NO!).
If I am "forced" to get another PV, I saw this one in another thread and it might be my next big purchase. It's so beautiful (in a manly way), and it just calls to me:
LG XL3 - Variable Voltage - Tasmanian Sassafras Burl
This is the kind of stuff I need to know. I guess I'll have to make it out to one of these meets and get a dripping lesson from you!![]()
Glen, I'm not a guy and I love that burl vv...that is tempting. Looks like the wood comes in colors too...I hope they offer those!

I have to agree with Tina - that burl is beautiful and not just in a manly way! I have a huge girl crush on burled wood, and if I hadn't blown my vaping budget (I know everyone is shocked!), I'd been all over that! There's something very sexy about burled wood, and I've had my eye on a stabilized burl REO, but the shape of the LG XL3 is fantastic - it looks like it will fit perfectly and comfortably in the hand.*swoon*

I'll be happy to give you a dripping lesson whenever you make it to a meet! Maybe I'll get around to making a quick tutorial before that & post it here for you guysSeriously, look at a getting a drip tip - you can occasionally find them on the classies, but at 12.99/ea, they're well worth it - not only do they make dripping no muss, no fuss, no mess, they will also pay for themselves rather quickly in liquid saved from paper towels & napkins, as they hold the excess juice and feed them back into the atty. I think I've said it before, but I wish I'd found them earlier - I finally understand what the fuss regarding dripping is all about!
Welcome Mythus - you're in good company here! Congrats on the Provari, and good luck with your juice hunt!
Most of us love ECBlends - they have a ridiculous number of flavors and options, and make some pretty great juices that are easy on the budget, especially with code 10020. I know I have tried a wide variety of juices from a wide variety of vendors, and always find myself back at ECBlends & deejstuff![]()
