I got mine here and RTD is a trusted vendor by many on ECF.

MNKE IMR 26650

I also picked up a TNT 80 and like that device too. The Stout is nicer with the rounded edges and the battery much easier to get into the device but I really like the TNT, it will take a beating.

I did the Wismec firmware upgrade today from 1.10 to 2.00 and it went well. The Firmware V2.00 added the TC-SS(specially for SS316 coil) and TCR(Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) modes, which change the resistance range: 0.05-1.5ohm for TC modes.

I ran Ni200 and TI G1 on it also just to take it through it's paces and both are a good vape. Much like the Evolv chip it doesn't always pick up a new topper but the resistance has been dead on each time I swapped a tank.

For what it's worth I finished the second tank of the original build and have been playing with the TL today and the battery has only drained around 10%.

I'm glad to see that maximum starting TC resistance is being raised to 1.5 ohm. When a 1.5 ohm coil heats up to a typical operating temperature the resistance is significantly higher, may be 3 ohm, so more of the electricity is being converted to heat, more efficient use of power. Months ago I aked about maximum ohms in the dna200 forum at evolv.com and was told 1.5 ohm starting resistance was allowed but max watts might be limited as ohms increase, presumably for protection.

Could you post a picture of the screen?

Ken, I used both Ni and Ti on the unit yesterday and had good results. Here's the picture using the TL.

Still on my original 266650

So, I caved and picked one up today. I wanted to get an MXJO 26650 but all they had in 26650 were the green efest 4200mah batteries. Got one just to have until I can order better ones on-line. Using it with a VTC5 until the efest charges...

What type of build are you using. I would be interested to hear what the run time is with the VTC5.

How did you do the upgrade? Straight from Wismec's site?
