Think about it zoiD, it's not the first time. I have two dna flasks that I can only fit the Sony VTC batteries into the device, every other battery won't fit. If Sony ever changes the diameter of their battery I'm screwed.

It just seems like a Poor Design to make something that Can't work with the Majority of 18650 Batteries.

I mean, shouldn't Someone in a company like this Step Forward in the Design Phase and say ... "No. This is Not a Good Design. We can Do Better."

BTW - I don't Blame designers for Bad Designs. Left up to their Own Devices, they can sometimes come up with some real FUBAR designs.

I blame the those who are Higher Up the Food Chain then the CAD Dwebs. Because they are the Ones who Approve the Designs. And are the One's who should have some Common Sense.

I have 3 of the Efest purple 4200's. They worked well but they were a little too tall. I stop using them and switched to the MXJO 3500's. I'm into the stout for 6 batteries.

Has anyone noticed the screen is pretty dim? When comparing it to my RX200 the screen on the Stout has an amber tint to it and the text doesn't seem as clear.

I noticed this too, it almost seems misty behind the screen protector. Is this normal?

Been considering the stout for a while, and that deal at Shop12south.com is a sweet deal.

Can't decide between the black or stainless though, it will be a work mod, so concerned the black will come off pretty easy, but then the stainless mods are normally fingerprint magnets, and with my OCD, be constantly wiping it down.

Also, seen the MXJO 22650 batteries alright for the stout, but most people talking about the 3500mah ones, and Shop12south has the 4200mah MXJO, guessing they will be ok too?

I have both the black and the Stainless and the Black doesn't get as much love, the Stainless is really nice.

I have the 4200mah MXJO and they work well.

No the finish is odd Nailz, I thought it was going to be bad but to me it's not real noticeable.

It's a shiny finish and you only see marks when you hold it in the light and turn it the right way. I picked up an IPV5 that has more of a matte finish and that one is great, shows nothing.

Well the coin decided black for me, which is the normal color I go for anyway, guess if gets some scratches, can always get a wrap for it
