What the....

Sad thing is its probably ready to ship and has none of the problems the VTbox200 has/had. They're scooping up all the people that got burned on the black and white VTbox200 LOL. China has no shame LOL.
Well 2 months after originally ordering my VT, which I cancelled, my Windows tablet is shipping out tonight. Yikes! What a hassle. Anyone have experience with USPS expedited shipping for battery products? Travel time?

Only used it twice so far, 6 days and 8 days acceptance to delivery.

Why's my tracking number from FT take me to a dhl tracker? I thought I got USPS expedited battery. Or is that how it's done. Dhl then handed off to USPS at the last minute?

That's how it works. DHL handles it up to some US warehouse and then USPS gets it. Not just the last mile like some services. I had two fasttech orders shipped on the same day, one with battery, one without. They arrived on the same day (~8 days).

Still waiting patiently for my VTBox. I'm starting to wonder if VapeCige ever intends to fulfill FT's full order. I am more than willing to fix the issues myself (that's why they call them mods, right?) But I can't fix anything if I never receive anything. (sigh)

I received mine from GB, nothing to fix. Really well done, call the battery 1300 mah and things are as they should be. Really really liking mine. Battery seems pretty good, I didn't measure it but it lasts pretty well.(compared to my Opus and Hotcig) It's all I've been using since I got it.

My personal opinion is save up a little longer and get a vaporshark.

With the Chinese holiday and all, I pulled the trigger and purchased a Vaporshark DNA200 as well, while waiting for my replacement VTBox200.

The Vaporshark DNA 200 lasted 8 days. :) I would no longer charge or fire, USB connected or not. Good thing is: American chip, American vendor, American store. I went back to the store and they replaced it on-site.

After a few charges, it seems that the LiPo does indeed change character somewhat. From the 900Mah in the Vaporshark, I get more or less the same life as a pair of 18650's in my Cloupor T8. From 8am, it cuts out at around 3-4pm. USB charging is nice, but not spectacular: On a high speed charger, the VS charges in a bit less than 2 hours from dead to full, pulling (according to it's display) approximately 1.1-1.2A.

Still waiting for my replacement VTBox200. I hope that the battery last me just a bit longer, but we'll see.

Hey guys, do anyone have the correct discharge profile in .CSV and even the resistance of the mod?

I can't find it anywhere on the internet and i'm feeling confused as i dont have the proper equipment to test the resistance of the mod.

As for the discharge profile, i tested it out at 40w and it asked me to set it to 14.33wh. Is this normal? I set it at 1500mah previously since i know for sure it's not a 1800mah and i got around 16.65 wh. Should i stick with th 14.33wh or should i change it to 16.65wh with the current discharge profile for 14.33wh?

So, anyone that already has their VTBox: Have you bought replacement LiPo(s)? Or is everyone just charging from the USB port?

I just charge from the USB. It only takes a couple of hours for the 1800 mAh to fully charge.

I received mine yesterday after a painful 30 day wait (I know some have seen worse, and for that I apologize). So far the device feels and looks great! I assume this is the Version 2. As far as I can tell, the door is NOT magneted in place, it's screwed in, because I cant get the door off. I'll take a hex key to it later.

The one thing I really want to find out.. the actual Battery mAh. I have a friend with a battery analyzer, Maybe ill let him do a full discharge test on it. If I do, I'll be sure to bring the results back here.

AhMunnaEChoo,

This is just my take on a potentially good way to damage your LiPo batter and if you test it in the case you may damage more than just the battery.

The eScribe test gets the battery and Mod far to hot and for what just to see if the vendor is hyping the batter capacity a little.

I can personally tell you that I get twice the life out of the VtBox200 1800 mAh battery as I do the Evolv Reference Unit 900 mAh battery - or very close to twice. I haven't been sitting with a stopwatch or anything similar but even it it is 1500 mAh vs 1800 mAh is that really such a big deal that it is worth damaging what you have - IMHO absolutely not.

Just take the extra battery power and enjoy the extra vape time. :2c:

If yours get's hot while doing the battery analyzer you most likely are doing the test higher than the 40W suggested. The test runs in short pulses first firing then resting letting the battery return to resting charge a few seconds each, taking several hours to go through the entire process. When I ran the test I had no noticeable heat at all either on the mod or battery using a couple large 26g loops. To me it's not just in seeing how much the battery specs are being over rated but also and more important to me is knowing that my device doesn't have a 19.98Wh pack and that it's closer to a 13.5Wh pack. So I can configure the device more closely to the actual capacity of the battery pack.
