Flapping, fluttering, wings are heard and Yardbyrd has materialized above you. He is drifting downward, like some strange powder-blue snow flake, wing feather tips undulating, his platinum YB medallion reflecting light softly. A plain, brown, wooden perch, with a bevel cut on 1/4 of the "T" comes rising from the floor of the thread and he suddenly just drops down and lands on it. The odd jewelry he wears around his neck is glowing a deep royal blue. You can hear a deep, smooth, male, Latin, voice translating for him:

"Hail, lauds, and greetings Oh conscious ones who yearn for rest! It is at the behest of your sister, known to me as Reddhott booopy, that I sojourn to your Realm this morning. Peace be with you all. Again, I visit, this morning, to ease or please but not to tease. The meanderings of the mind, when wakeful, can often match the fantasy it creates in sleep. Some of the best thoughts occur to many late at night or when far from sleep. I wish a positive, creative, or inventive inspiration to you all!

While you journey through the hours of consciousness may your trip be smooth and pleasant. May your path be free of careworn concern or any negative thing. May feelings of ease, peace, and relaxation engulf you all and carry you in their soft arms to that destination of relief."

YardByrd looks quite serious for an instant. Then he looks to the left...then to the right...then straightforward. He is so still, for that moment, its almost hard to tell if he's breathing! He pecks his perch once and it transforms into a sheet of paper, he pecks the air to the left, then to the right and opening his beak you hear his farewell, as he flies out of sight to the right: "CAW!" (Soothing and melodic Byrd whistling can be heard fading as he leaves) you notice the piece of paper is stil there and, of course, it contains a quotation:

"When I am traveling in a carriage, or walking after a good meal, or during the night when I cannot sleep; it is on such occasions that ideas flow best and most abundantly."
~Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.

So your saying I shouldn't get a jeep that I can work on until i can work on a jeep? :p

I think what's being said is you should have a person that really knows cars(I mean someone who is an all around mechanic if possible)check it out for you and the most important being the drive train and this is what I'm saying and I don't want to sound like mr no it all but I have a lot of experience in buying and selling vehicles! what makes you think you need or want a jeep? What do you really need? A very dependable, economical nice first car is most likely what you want and need and would be most happy with and if you are realistic about it, you can find something that will do you much good and will not have grief! Older 4 wheel drives can be very costly to maintain, do you really need a 4X4? Front wheel drives work good in most conditions. The best vehicle for you I believe is the most simplest and you would be the most happiest with and drive down the road all proud with a smile on your face too! I don't push ... cars and always try to support US but Honda makes some good ones and their engines and drive trains last and a clean older good one is very reasonable too! The jeeps are nice, especially the Grand Cherokees (like a passenger car) but would go with something newer with this, as they have much improved engines and drive trains overall but you will also pay the price, unless it's junk! Another good one, for price that is, is the Ford Ranger,(small pick up truck) the 4X4 version xtra cab is pretty good but there again, there are issues here and it may cause you grief, so I just think simple and nice would be best for you right now! Oh and by the way, I don't think we have met Plumes, I'm SD and glad to meet you and good luck and please just stay with good common since, don't cause yourself grief and get stuck with something you cannot even get rid of at such a loss and resale value is a very important thing to take into consideration also!

Thanks SD I could definitely use a grounding reality check like that. I think your right, I should look for something that wont cause me grief. At the same time I trust the whole drivetrain of the 90's to 2001 jeeps, and I believe the later models suffered a quality control issue. They started using a new engine and its a less "durable" engine after the 2001 Cherokee sports. However, like my oldest brother says, do you want an old engine that will maybe get you to 250-300k miles with constant work/grief or do you want a newer engine that will have no major mechanical problems at all till 150-200k. He also says a newer body is always better than an older body and the body and frame of a vehicle is just as important as the engine.

I want a 90s to 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport because 1. Its my dream vehicle. I've always wanted one. I've always pictured myself in one. Its the thing I've always wanted. I'm 22, almost 23, and I have never made a purchase over 300 dollars in my life. I want to finally have what I've always wanted and I'm willing to work on it if it has DIY friendly, internet searchable problems with it. My brother is a truck and ATV and dirtbike mechanic by trade. I haven't learned much from him but I have spent a month+ learning the basics of internal combustion engines online and I'm confident that I can use what's in our garage, especially with his guidance. He travels across the country for work but I know he will give me phone advice on fixing things if I buy a 90s Jeep and I know he'll let me use his jacks & all his tools if I treat them right for as long as he stores them in our garage! & if I have the mon$y to pay him, he'll fix it when hes home too lol.

He actually bought a really old rusty Ford truck with no bed that he was going to fix up with me, let me use as my 1st vehicle, & use for off roading for himself when he wanted to, but we never got around to fixing it. We basically opened the hood, I put the battery charger on and we totally forgot to replace one of the battery lead wires and we destroyed all the wires throughout the entire engine compartment lol. SO that truck is sitting in the middle of the woods abandoned because wire work is horrible. lol. That truck would of gotten like 8mpg so any jeep would be better than that lol.

2. I don't work. I don't hold jobs well. I'm a very sick person. I always end up having a sick/medical problem or I end up getting completely run down mentally and I leave jobs anywhere from 6 to 8 months in usually. So to pay my bills I usually just sell things on auction websites & ebay. & I've always wanted a jeep because I see 100 things a day on craigslist that I can pick up, fix up, and sell. But I can't ever GET to these things because I don't have a vehicle, & if the thing is close enough to drive with my mom to, her car's backseat is too pretty and too small to even consider picking most things up in it. :p

OK! Here's some more of my music!

Lyrics :

Come down off your throne and leave your body alone
Somebody must change
You are the reason I've been waiting so long
Somebody holds the key,you say

Chorus :

We're near the end, just ain't got the time
Cause I'm wasted and I can't find my way home

Come down on your throne and leave your body alone
Somebody must change
You are the reason I've been waiting all these years
Somebody holds the key

Chorus X2

Still lovin' you,
I ain't done nothing wrong,oh no
But I can't find my way home
Believe me,I can't find my way home
But I can't find my way home
I ain't done nothing wrong,oh no
But I can't find my way home

God Bless You!!!

Good Video I Think But To Each His Or Her Own, I Suppose!!!:vapor: Vape em if ya got em

"Call Me The Breeze" was released in the spring of 1974 on Lynyrd Skynyrd's second album, Second Helping. This is my favorite tune on the album and also one of my all time favorite Lynyrd Skynyrd songs. I always thought the song was written by Allen Collins and surprised to find while I was researching for the video, that it was actually written by J.J. Cale.
[Lyrics]
Call me the breeze
I keep blowin' down the road
Well now they call me the breeze
I keep blowin' down the road
I ain't got me nobody
I don't carry me no load

Ain't no change in the weather
Ain't no changes in me
Well there ain't no change in the weather
Ain't no changes in me
And I ain't hidin' from nobody
Nobody's hidin' from me
Oh, that's the way its supposed to be

Well I got that green light baby
I got to keep movin' on
Well I got that green light baby
I got to keep movin' on
Well I might go out to California
Might go down to Georgia
I don't know

Well I dig you Georgia peaches
Makes me feel right at home
Well now I dig you Georgia peaches
Makes me feel right at home
But I don't love me no one woman
So I can't stay in Georgia long

Well now they call me the breeze
I keep blowin' down the road
Well now they call me the breeze
I keep blowin' down the road
I ain't got me nobody
I don't carry me no load
Oooh Mr Breeze
