I'm up to the WWIII episode in Dr Who, FWIW. It's a new thing for me. Anyone know why the old B&W episodes are restricted by request of the BBC? I'd like to watch them, too.

I will admit to not being much of a Dr.who fan...but that is mainly due to the fact that I'm not much of a television watcher...but if you're looking for them...the first place I'd suggest looking is demonoid

So whats up people? This place sure died:(
Nothing new other then I still utterly love my S3.. Still stock, still scared after bricking my last device.. STILL HATE SPRINT :)
Getting people to vape is difficult when they aren't in it 100% but getting people to buy nexus7s is EASY!! :p
Been monitoring my att data usage all month and I've come to the conclusion 3 gigs is not enough(NO SH** right) so I'm gonna upgrade to the 5 gig with tethering.. Even with doing my best not to stream everything there needs to be some conservative talk radio in my life daily so It's getting tough living on a metered plan..

I use internet access as needed when I'm out, but I 'm finding that there's wireless in enough places that I'm not using a fraction of my 2 gig plan. At home, I use my laptop or my desktop or my Kindle and sometimes my Galaxy Nexus. Whatever is handy gets the nod. They all attach to the wireless router and suck DSL data.

You have to have some network data access for those times when the wireless isn't available. I guess it just depends on where you are. I have friends who canceled their DSL plan and switched to a Verizon hot spot. They are finding that with their college graduate at home for a while, 4 gigs isn't enough. Once he leaves, 1/2 gig will probably do them well.

Anyone else curious about the new HTC phone, codename "DLX"???

quad-core S4, 1.5gb RAM, and 1080p display with 480ppi! Take that "retina" fanboys.

Never a HUGE fan of HTC, but looks like this one will be a monster...

HTC phones are normally very hardware powerful...as an HTC user...it's going to come down to how much sense holds it back.

Good point for the general public. For me, as an Android hacker, doesn't mean much as I usually root/ROM anyhow.
HTC Nexus would be VERY VERY interesting...

Sounds great. I had a T-Mobile G1 for my first Android phone. It was made by HTC; great product, I really liked it.

I talked to my son last night about rooting my phone. I used the words "brick" and "root" in the conversation. He said that if I know those words I'll be able to figure it out, and I won't brick it!!!!

Question for all you amazingly hot, smart and cool root experts:

How do I keep all the apps I have on my phone now? I don't have to re-download every one of them, do I? I know they will be listed on the Google Play store that I use these apps, but there are a lot of apps I downloaded that I don't use anymore. I'd like to keep the preferences and the settings I already have on the apps, otherwise it will be a huge pain in the ....

As long as you get root BEFORE you flash a custom rom you should be able to back up your apps with titanium backup, then flash the rom and restore your apps from that point, the one exception is AOKP or CYANOGENMOD, as those require you to flash an additional file to restore your google apps.
