Been monitoring my att data usage all month and I've come to the conclusion 3 gigs is not enough(NO SH** right) so I'm gonna upgrade to the 5 gig with tethering.. Even with doing my best not to stream everything there needs to be some conservative talk radio in my life daily so It's getting tough living on a metered plan..

Good point for the general public. For me, as an Android hacker, doesn't mean much as I usually root/ROM anyhow.HTC phones are normally very hardware powerful...as an HTC user...it's going to come down to how much sense holds it back.

I talked to my son last night about rooting my phone. I used the words "brick" and "root" in the conversation. He said that if I know those words I'll be able to figure it out, and I won't brick it!!!!

How do I keep all the apps I have on my phone now? I don't have to re-download every one of them, do I? I know they will be listed on the Google Play store that I use these apps, but there are a lot of apps I downloaded that I don't use anymore. I'd like to keep the preferences and the settings I already have on the apps, otherwise it will be a huge pain in the ....
