For what it's worth I was downtown today and noticed that the many homeless people really like their tobacco. With cigs selling for $10 a pack it must really eat into their budget. I wonder if they could be helped to vape? Maybe we could donate our less favored devices and juice and set up charging stations. Just a thought.

You sound as if they're a pack of dogs, they're people too, maybe not as fortunate as you or I, but still people.

Nope.. trained is acceptable.. I trained myself to vape instead of continuing to smoke.. I trained my brain to stop being addicted to analogs and trained it to accept a different method of nicotine which can be difficult for a lot of people. Stop being ridiculous

Ndddaaa...
Ppl have no house... no normal hot meal... no clean clothing (what is need to keep body function), smokes are NOT A NEED. When i had no money for cig i just didn't smoke, period and i'm still alive.

If you want to help, i will say, help with needs. Donate your old clothing to a shelter, food. According to your logic - lets donate buzz and weed there, just because they sure will happy to use it.

It is there's choice to have that life and i, personally, not going to take from myself or my kids to help those ppl with vaping gear (i do donate for needs regularly so)

Interesting thought, can you imagine the media headlines? Evil Ecigs now being marketed to homeless. I never thought about getting vaping to those who can't afford it. I can't tell you how many of the local homeless guys ask me for a smoke and I just hold up my PV and they go "oh.." and walk away.

This is NOT an interesting thought. This thread is closed.

This is the most ridiculous thread I have ever seen. I don't even know where to begin. I've wasted 3 minutes of my life that I will never get back by reading this.

THEY'RE HOMELESS. IF YOU'RE HOMELESS, SMOKE UP JOHNNY! Jesus Christ.

I take it you've never been.

I think the OP had a great idea.

ACTUALLY, I have been. It sounds like the OP has never been homeless. And if someone had handed me an ecig I would've laughed in your face and then lifted your wallet. This is a TERRIBLE idea. Being homeless is all about things being convenient. Cigarettes are convenient. E cigs are not.

A lot of homeless people have mental illnesses, this is not speculation either. A lot of people with mental illnesses have a strong dependence on tobacco...I am sure they would be grateful for a free ecig to try and possibly a little education. Most homeless people don't get very many acts of kindness and it would benefit everyone to give a little where it's needed.

Probably the only reply that makes sense right here.

An act of kindness is a gift in its own when you have nobody that gives a .... about you.
