Having a day when none of my setups satisfies.

hate it when that happens. I've tried to explain it to someone else before, but they didn't quite get it...

I haven't shorted my wedding ring on a battery yet...anyone know if Tungsten is conductive?! lol

Last night, sitting in the basement watching TV and relaxing. I had had a bad day. A couple of weeks ago I tripped and hit my knee. Compressed the cartilage and knocked my knee cap out of place. Earlier yesterday, I was coming down the back stairs to the house and the old stairs gave way and broke, sending me down 4 steps and landing on my already bad knee. My knee and shin swelled up like there was a grapefruit under the skin. I tensed up when I landed and as a result, my whole body is racked with pain (well that's not true, my nipples feel ok which is unusual because I normally don't think about my nipples at all. Most men don't. Most men are only aware of the nipples on the opposite sex, which we enjoy very much when we are allowed to see them and they are attractive. The unattractive ones are like a disappointing present you are excited to open but then are sad it wasn't remotely what you were expecting. Your own are like the fan belts on your car and you only notice them when something is wrong). So I was on painkillers, watching TV and reached up for my Super T Workhorse and Taifun GS and knocked it over and had to watch it fall, breaking the plastic tank. It sheared off at the threads and I couldn't get the remaining piece off why my hands or tools. I had to melt the remain plastic to get it off. Luckily, I have the original metal tank and was able to put it on.
dang, those are some strong pain killers you got there.

Went to work with a tank full of a new juice i found at my local B&M and as the day progressed i felt increasingly annoyed over people doing stuff that i thought was dumb. I couldn`t understand why i got so ticked off by people just talking.

Headed into the parkinglot to have a vape during my break and studied the bottle further, 0 mg..... Good juice tho :p

A few of these incidents sound familiar to me:
Not putting the top part of a subtank RBA chimney in place then watching juice flow out the airflow. Yup... only do that once.
Filling up a kayfun with a needle tip jug and not being patient, popped off the top of the jug and shot juice all over the place.
Rebuilding a TFV4 RBA, set the wick in place filled er up...leaking. Syringe out the juice adjust the wick..leaking again. Syringe out the juice again, fiddled with the wick and again leaking, 3 strikes and its out into the wash bin and haven't been back to try again.
Most recent and biggest oops was that I have round 100ml glass jars I DIY in. Built 100ml of juice for my wife and went to put some seed mix into the new mix. Set the old jar upside down on top the new jar to get every last drop, all was balancing well till I bumped my desk with my chair just enough to have both bottles tip over and 100+mls of juice tsunami across my desk soaking everything in its path...WHAT A MESS. You never think how much liquid a 100mls is until you see it spread out and trying to clean it up.

The only one I can think of is trying to refill my ego threaded topper without removing the bottom first. I couldn't understand why it wasn't filling up. It took getting e-liquid all over my hand and the island counter to realize what was happening. I actually did this twice. Guess I am a slow learner :D

I know what you mean, even 30 ml seems like so much more when spilled!
I felt like I was being patient, but those darn gorilla bottle caps just pop off!

Betcha one thing we all (or almost all) did was forgetting the mod's setting when we were switching the tank/deck/build, putting it on and getting a nasty dry hit (or similar) on the first puff.

Haha yup did that last night went from my dual Alien ware RDA build to my Single coil pharaoh tank yup I chocked

The guy that made those things sent me one without me even asking.
It's still in the Fedex box and I have yet to open it.

Should I?
Should I open it?

The Drip-on-Demand don't work as well as advertised, needs an occasional squeeze to keep the coil fed. That said, they do actually make dripping easy, if VERY weird looking. Perfect for a trip to your local vape shop...

I'm thinking I should do a video review, starting with the official "unboxing".
Only problem is I don't know how to "do" the whole video thing.

I think I will wait to open it until I do know how.
Opening that box will be like opening some bizarre time capsule.

Funny this thread should pop up now. I spend most of my time in strange old towns. Just arrived in one this morning. Beat up a building all day and then checked in to a hotel. Unpacked and got settled. I figured I'd do a little maintenance, fill squonk bottles, change batteries....the usual.
I forgot all of my juice at home. All of it.

I've been a DIY guy for the last 4 and a half years and I only vape 3 flavors....sometimes there's a 4th...but for all intents and purposes, only 3. Vanilla Custard, Vanilla Custard w/ Hazelnut and a Strawberry Custard. So I googled the nearest vape shop and bought some juice. This is the first time I've bought juice in years. The dude says "Can I help you?" I said "I need to borrow your lab for a minute". He looked at me like I was nuts....so I told him the story. I bought 3 bottles of juice. 2 60 mls and a 30. I got Twisted which is a Salted Caramel pretzel, Cannoli Be Mine (a strawberry) and Colossus (Vanilla Custard).

The good news is the pretzel stuff is amazing and the cannoli is very acceptable..the Vanilla Custard is Vanilla Custard. The bad news is it was $68. How do you folks do it?
Last time I was in a b&m I sampled a salted pretzel juice and was very close to buying it. I went with Cinnamon Toast Crunch instead and subsequently ordered flavorings to make my own cinnamon vapes. A cinnamon sugar cookie DIY recipe is now in my rotation.

My duh moment was last night. Forgot to close down jfc before filling KF v5, that first puff was a gurgling, what the heck, moment followed by a solid smack to my forehead.

Ahhhh.. the wonderful slurp of liquid you get when you forget to close after refilling. Such yummy-ness and gagging and reaching for a tissue to wipe your tongue off... fun times!

I think this thread jinxed me! Just a few hours ago, I experienced my Jordy Verril lunkhead moment. With my old IPV D2 topped with a subtank, I headed out for this year's first mowing. After a long winter, I confess to being a bit out of shape (or a lot) and another year older, so it took longer then expected. It's rare I go that long with one set-up and juice, so before heading to the compost site to dump the clippings and sticks, I ran (at my age, quick steps are considered running) into the house to grab something better for the trip. I grabbed my Alien with the baby beast and, out of habit, went to unscrew/re-screw the baby beast so I could confirm a "new" coil and make sure it would work for the ride. I quickly found that being exhausted and in a hurry can be a recipe for disaster when after a couple twists, all the juice ran down all over the Alien. Turns out the baby beast base was more firmly attached to the Alien then the chimney was to the coil. At least it was the smallest tank I have and wasn't completely full.

Lol I was out mowing for the first time this year as well and Yep, I also had my freshly refilled BB and Alien combo. Only problem I had though was my poor setup got all dusty and I need to do a good wipe down on it when I came back inside for a potty break/refill. :p

I did that with a kayfun about a week ago while reading forum posts, not paying attention to what I was doing. I unscrewed the tank and left the base on my mod, it was the warn juice hitting my hand when I noticed what I had done. It was a small amount of juice but still a mess.

I thought I'd nanny-nanny-boo-boo to all of you who are now attempting to get that lawn mower going after sitting all winter, pulling till your arm falls off. My John Deere push mower is 18 years old, it sits outside under the deck out of the snow. For the 18th year now today I set her out in the sun for a couple hours, filled her with fresh gas, pushed the primer a few times and on the first pull she fired...gotta love John Deere.

    I did not winterize it

I've never winterized it. Just make sure there is no fuel in the tank when I put it under the deck. She did get a tune up I guess 6 or 7 years ago. I don't like starting fluid, from what I understand you can easily blow the gaskets out so I have never used it.
