Just a question. I smoke at least a pack a day of analogs normally. I just started vaping about 4 days ago and trying to wean my self off the analogs.

I find my self vaping more than i usually smoke normal cigs. normaly i would go out about every 1 to 1.5 hrs to smoke an analog. I find myself vaping constantly.. Is this normal? Im using 24 mg menthol at the moment in a ego 510.

will this slow down eventually and does it cause any more harm than normal smoking.

thanks for the advice.

I've been vaping for almost two years now. When I smoked I was a 1 to 1.5 pack a day smoker; out to the smoking area every 45 minutes to an hour if possible. If I went 2 hours between smokes, I started getting antsy; longer and I started getting nasty :D.
Now, if I'm awake, I have a PV in hand's reach (mostly). However, I can easily go a few hours w/o vaping and not notice it.

IMO, any amount of vaping (as long as you get enough oxygen into your lungs to maintain life :D) is less harmful than 'normal' smoking.

I've been off analogs for just over two years now. Went from a pack a day to chain vaping 36mg juice, and got a ton more nicotine than the real cigs gave me. I think that's what helped me quit. I slowly dialed it down, with each step with lower mg juice I'd vape more for a while before balancing out. Now I'm at 6mg, and I usually go through 2.5 - 3 ml per day. I'll still chain vape every now and then if I'm drinking (yesterday i vaped 6ml), but I think I've mellowed out a lot.

Don't put pressure on yourself. I think the mental strain of feeling like you have to quit makes it harder and worse. If you buy another pack, you buy another pack. Big deal. Get comfy with vaping, try flavors, then you will likely start to prefer it. I vape occasionally. Sometimes I go hours without it, other times I just jones for the flavor. But because sometimes I vape heavy (because it tastes so good) I ordered some lower nicotine flavors. So when I go heavy I am not getting lightheaded.

I'm vaping constantly since I started. At first it worried me and made me a bit paranoid that I was doing something bad for my health but it's gotta be better than smoking 10-20 regular cigs a day. I'm not feeling sick from the nic or anything but I have to admit I know I'm overdoing it now since it's a fun new toy and will probably taper down a lot once I get more used to it.

I'm just over five months . . . puff, puff, puff. Started at 36, currently at six. Tried zero, but found it to be a bit too soon. I suffered painful mouth sores for about six weeks, but they're finally gone. They didn't appear until two months off analogs. I'm using a ProVari at 4.5, 70/30. I like this a lot.

Mouth sores can come from tobacco withdrawls.

I find I Vape way more times per day. Though I only take a couple of tokes at a time. With smoking you burn a whole cig down to the .........big difference

Agreed...I have my PV with me always, but the questions has always been number of puffs. A cigarette equals 15-20 puffs I think. One mil of liquid equals about 200-300 puffs? So in terms of puffs, 1 mil equals about 15-20 cigs. I was a 3 pad smoker and now I vape 3-4 mil per day. I think its an even steven trade.

But that's way too much math...head spinning.

I've been vaping for a week, and I know what you mean. I got my first juices yesterday and they're so easy to vape all day! I won't be able to do so when school starts back next week, it's more of a "I can vape in my house and not smoke outside" sort of thing, I think. I find that the juices I bought from E-Six don't dry me out like the V2 ones did initially. Not sure whether it's the carts vs clearo setup or if it's just their particular base blend. I'm really enjoying this though!
