What will you fine folks do when smoking is no longer allowed Anywhere?
I don't think its going to be banned in my own home. Too much money is involved for tobacco to be banned anytime soon.
If it is then I guess I become a criminal.

I absolutely agree with "Be considerate". However, there's little correlation between being considerate and obeying arbitrarily imposed laws.Be considerate.
“There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”If it is then I guess I become a criminal.
I mean is it really that hard to have a little consideration for someone other than yourself?

I hope someone reads that^^^. Too much for me.
I understand the discussion perfectly: A lot of people stating that they only vape where smoking is ALLOWED is what I am reading here. I vape where ever I choose and have never had a problem.
I am not confrontational, I am courteous, and I don't feel a need to vape in places where folks may take offense. I don't blow clouds of vapor in peoples faces. If I want to vape in a non-smoking area, I do. It has worked for me to this point. I just will not acquiesce to anyone who is so misinformed that they lump vaping in with smoking, if I do then am I not agreeing with them on some level? All that says to me is that they are misinformed and I will gladly help them (politely) to understand. I we allow ourselves to be treated as smokers, then we will certainly be more easily categorized as such.
Is that clear?
No, because you seem to think that if people don't want you to vape, or if they're bothered by it, then they must be uninformed. Often that is not the case, and it has nothing to do with smoking (as you keep alluding to). I vape and am very informed about vaping, but I wouldn't go to a restaurant that allowed vaping (and if I owned one, I certainly wouldn't allow it), because I don't want to smell someone's strawberry custard while I'm eating, not would I care to see clouds of vapor in the air in that environment.
You, and many others, always assume that vaping is not allowed because people perceive it as not good for you, or that it's the same as smoking - that's a fallacy.
Have you not ever run across someone that stinks of perfume so bad that it is bothersome?? They're not doing anything against the rules or law, but they are only thinking of themselves and are not courteous to others. They load that perfume up anytime they choose and have probably never had a problem either. Vaping, when it's not specifically permitted, is doing the same thing. Obviously, you don't care about that and will continue to vape wherever you choose, but some of us will always be a bit more thoughtful of others.
Like I said in my first post, that will never change.
And the perfume analogy is lame. We've all been subjected to it. I know it's not intentional and I accept it as part of living society where people are allowed to express themselves by filling the room with the stench of Drakar Noir if they so choose. I just move on - no need to get your panties in a wad.

My pain management doctor has a no perfume/cologne/scented lotion, etc rule.
