I've answered this question in several threads I think. But yea, I do vape in the movie theatre. Just not a full theatre. No one has ever noticed I was vaping much less confronted me about it.

Same here.

I stealth vape in theatres all the time, but I'm not an ...... about it. I'm there to watch a movie, not show off my sub-ohm clouds.
Hold it in for a few seconds, exhale toward the floor just in case.

Never been confronted, haven't noticed the vapor 'rising' in front of the screen or projector.
Nobody looked around, no hushed comments about the odor, nothing.
I doubt anyone even knew I was doing it.

I say this is one of the worst things vapers can do. It's one of those obvious things that makes non-vapers want to ban vaping.

This!!! This attitude of "F you, I got mine" is absolutely despicable! The people that pull this BS only have themselves to blame when vaping is completely banned in public.

If you're in an area where smoking isn't allowed, don't f'ing vape. Period! The only thing it does is show how selfish one is.

Trying to come up with a way to put this as politely as possible. OP, you have several threads in regards to public vaping. In a couple of those threads, at certain points, you mention that you would vape clouds. People have come in with suggestions about not vaping clouds in certain situations, but yet you start another thread.

Many have giving you advice and opinions. They really aren't going to change their opinion and obviously you sure aren't going to change yours.

My question to you: What's the point of these threads? You like to see the conflict that arises between the two types of vapers? Is this a divide and conquer type mentality?

Most vapers are of the same mentality, vape responsibly, have respect, use common sense. Vape publicly but keep those things I just mentioned in mind.

I honestly don't see why you keep making threads that are known to be controversial.

My guess is he's not getting the answer he wants, so he starts a new thread. If you're in a no smoking section, respect the damn rules and don't vape!! Waiting to vape is freaking easy compared to having to wait for a cigarette. If you can't wait for a vape, you have bigger problems than nic addiction; most likely issues with authority.

Vape in...hold in lungs...count to 5...exhale...vapor is cooled and is virtual non existent...

Just don't use a rig that has one of those landing light LED's on it!!!

Try it

In the dark...I doubt anyone would notice...other than the smell maybe (if you use one that has a strong odor...I like fruits so people smell fruity smell)

This is the exact behavior that's going to get vaping completely banned in public just like cigarettes. Respect your fellow humans by not blowing vapor where you're not supposed to smoke!

By the way people talk about this you'd think it's rocket surgery.

If you're vaping sub-ohm I guarantee others notice. They just don't say anything, most likely to avoid conflict.

Geez, while everyone is so caught up in the political correctness of vaping here, there or anywhere you completely missed the most obvious point on this one: Start sending out plumes of vape between the projector and a lit screen, someone perceives that as smoke - not cigarette smoke - yells FIRE! and sends the entire crowd in a darkened theater into a panic stampede trying to get to the exits. Absolutely brilliant.

In as much as I'm pro public vaping, am not about to equate vaping to smoking so it shouldn't be done just to be an ANTZ apologist, vaping in a movie theater is just a .... stupid idea.

The only thing it does is show how selfish one is.

Well, I don't know that this is true. It also demonstrates that a person CAN do something around other people that some might consider taboo & do it so that it doesn't offend other people. If people only see either bad examples of vaping in public or no examples of vaping in public how will they ever see that maybe it's not really a big deal to have someone vape next to you?

And everyone's selfish so why is one person's demonstration of selfishness more tolerable than anothers? It would be rude for someone to fill a theatre with their vapor & bug everyone around them. But then it's also rude to go up to someone just because they're vaping & rage in their face about there being "no smoking" & then walk away all self righteous like. And it's selfish to use f'ing in your post too. Just sayin.

I guarantee that you just made a pretty broad generalization.

Quick bursts off of a sub-ohm coil don't produce any more vapor than a long drag of a cigalike.

I'm abandoning thread before you drag us all into your sub-ohm witch hunt.

Get over yourself. I'm on no witch hunt. I'm just letting you know you're most likely blowing out more vapor than you think. But if you truly are just doing quick bursts, by all means go ahead. Just know you're risking it for all vapers.

So let me see if I have this straight...

Don't vape where you can't smoke, so that they don't pass rules to keep us from vaping where we can't smoke?
Is that kind of like do what they want us to do, so they don't MAKE us do what they want us to do?

Yeah, I'm not getting it.

You must be. I can smell the irony venting clear across the great 48 from here.

I'm sorry but this is just so much BS. Those who want to ban vaping have been trying to do it way before anyone thought about vaping in a theater. Many of us have vaped in theaters. And as many of us advocate, vape openly BUT respectfully. As long as you are not blowing plumbs of vapor towards others, keeping your vaper reduced and not bothering others, there is no issue. As long as you are not distracting others, it should not be an issue. Many of us have done this without a problem. In other words, use common sense, be polite and be respectful.

Honestly I never once thought about how my using ecigs in public would affect the ecig community as a whole. They've been trying to ban them since the very beginning, despite a lack of public outcry. I use them everywhere, and the only reactions I've ever received were positive. I can't tell you how many times someone has asked me how they work, did I quit for good, where can they get one. A total stranger walked up to me outside a mall and thanked me for quitting real cigs. She loved the fact that this could someday completely replace the stinky lung busting analogs. I don't know anyone who finds them offensive or threatening, my non smoker friends love the fact that I switched and let me vape in their cars, houses, wherever. I'm not saying the movie theater is the best place, out of respect I never have. So far I've converted 4 ppl I know including my own mother to ecigs.
