Biggest negative about e cigs being accepted more widely than they already are is the appearance of smoke , we know it's not smoke but the bottom line is if it looks like smoke , thats a problem .
Ok..
Now I will reply.
I think, a lot of people like the idea of vaping, and I think it is partially marketed as a smoke anywhere device. Unfortunately, you cannot smoke anywhere.
It still makes people feel uncomfortable. They havent had a need to go and study all the health effects of the vapor. Anything they have heard, if anything has been about the potential dangers of it, and how we are not sure. We should continue to be respectful.
If you are going to need to vape in an indoor area, which I have no problems with... you should do it respectfully.
Stealth vape
And I do not mean tiny clouds.
I mean... no clouds. I, as a third party, do not want to see even the tiniest wisp of something resembling smoke. If you cannot or do not want to do that, then you should take it outside. it may not be illegal now, but the more it becomes a problem, the closer we are to the law.
in this case, as with almost all.... majority wins.
If being near people is all it took to make it bad, then vaping at an outdoor music concert would be bad, no?
It's hard to say anything is bad when they're smoking other stuff, and consuming their body weight in alcohol at said festival.![]()
Fortunately, you can vape everywhere.
That's broad, but wrong. You cannot vape in my house.
You can basically do anything anywhere. Just man up to the consequences instead of being a sniveling little piece of horse dung.
We're very fortunate, where we live, we're within 2.5-3 miles of at least a half-dozen grocery stores. We patronize Walmart, Kroger, Ingles, and Aldi -- the only time I go in Publix is if I need some weird ethnic-cuisine ingredient; they have a vast selection of that stuff, but they're mostly way too expensive for us. But with so many big groceries near us, we can get what we like, for reasonable prices, and not even waste a lot of gas doing it.
Andria
Oh, I'm pretty sure I could.
And is why I would enjoy doing it at your house.
I think that until the FDA Deeming is complete, that we should do Everything Possible to Educate the Non-Vaping Public about e-Cigarettes. So that the Non-Vaping public can support Us in our cause.
Things like…
Vaping inside Retail Stores.
Vaping in Movies/Restaurants.
Vaping in a Pediatrician Office.
Advocating selling e-Cigarettes to Kids.
Etc.
… are all great ways to Reach a Lot of Non-Vapers. And I’m sure they will Contact their Local, State and Federal Reps expressing their Strong Support for e-Cigarettes.
I think you just broke my sarcasm detection device. It won't fire, and just says reading too high on the screen. Firmware update needed maybe.![]()

It is all FEAKIN' MIND SET!!!!
PEOPLE once accepted the World Was Flat - someone said it enough that people accepted it must be true![]()
But it is flat or we would all just fall off when it turned. Take your witchcraft and spherical world theories elsewhere.![]()
cashier or not any employee of the store has a right to ask you stop doing something or not to do something that is against the company policy or a potential safety hazard or nuisance. I work retail and I have asked people not to let their kids stand up in the grocery carts and ask kids not to ride the handicapped carts. Is it my job to do this? no, I am a Florist, but part of my job is to uphold the standards of the company I work for and to consider all of the customers. If you think the cashier is wrong then you need to find a manager and take it up with the manager, but I would bet on the manager siding with the cashier and a lot of times the cashiers are managers when additional cashiers are needed. Out of respect for others, stay stealthy or refrain, just because you can does not make it right, and try when possible to restrict it to the same areas smokers are in when out in public.I didn't mean to start a big debate here haha I see both sides. As I've stated I no longer vape in stores. I was just wondering if a cashier had the right to very rudely make me stop when I was breaking no laws.
No way, the much better plan is to:
A. Treat vaping as shameful as smoking is treated and only vape where smokers smoke
B. If any ingredient is allegedly harmful or bad in our products, then we ought to join the ANTZ choir and tell people how bad vaping is. But only tell fellow vapers this and when speaking to non-vapers claim it saves a lot of lives. Then come back here and talk how bad the product is and how greedy the vendors are, and how they are lying to us just to make a buck.
C. Forget that all of us smoked when we were under 18, and pretend that no one today would do the same, and uphold the virtuous laws that would create an underground market where kids will vape and determine it is so much more cool than the lying adults claim it to be. I'm sure the notion that kids should never do this will only help adults in the longterm.
D. Advocate for all the things FDA has stated in their deeming, i.e. childproof caps, labels, no selling to kids, no cutesy marketing, then turn around and say we are dead set against the FDA deeming and hope no one calls us on our confusing positions.
E. Hopefully by doing the above we can bankrupt all the bad players in the industry and leave all the good ones to make lots of money. Like the tobacco industry did.
Oh Yeah... I'm totally with you Jman8. Especially on C.
I can't Think of a Better Way to generate support from the Non-Vaping segment, the 95% of the population, then to tell them that we Want to Sell e-Cigarettes to their Kids.
BTW - Vaping inside Wal-Mart is Great. Especially in the Cereal Aisle. Everyone should Do It. But I have found Other ways to "Educate" people about how Great e-Cigarettes are.
My Latest is to Vape while I put Gas into my Car. Boy, you should see the Looks I get. Can't tell you how Many People I have shown how Cool e-Cigarettes are.
