If you aren't feeling sick, getting dizzy or having headaches while vaping then you should be fine.

"Too much" is a relative term in vaping. If you just started vaping then it will taper off once the newness has passed. Sometimes my eGo is like a pacifier and I'm hitting it more and it's in my hand most of the day. Other days I put it down for long periods. It's hard to resist all the flavor varieties, too. Once you get used to it, you'll pick it up less and less. If you're using a light to medium level of nicotine, you might want to increase it a little and see if that helps.

I find myself vaping a LOT more than I used to smoke analogs. General rule of thumb is that too much of anything can be bad for you. How much is too much? I only used to smoke 5-6 analogs a day, but now I find myself vaping all day long. Makes it especially difficult with a bottle of Boba's on my desk :(

I think you'll find the answer to be pretty standard from most of us. The nic level in most juices and carts is not an exact science. Its been said that this is what leads alot of us to be chain vapers!
Its rare to see me without my e-cig in hand. On the otherside of that coin, is that if I dont have it, Im not going insane like I did when I couldnt find my pack of smokes.
No one has died from vaping too much... just smoking. Enjoy and fear not.

Hi Whiskey... my name is Infernia and I too am a vaporholic

I'm a newbie to vaping too and find myself with the e-cig either in hand or in teeth as I type :) Like now. I really don't think I'm getting the same amount of nicotine I did with the analogs or the nicorette gum. I would get headaches with the 2mg gum if not very careful. But vaping on my 24mg e-liquid ButterRum and I have yet to have a single headache or any other nicotine related side effect. With the 18mg liquid I was still craving and smoking analogs.
I am no scientist but I would assume that we aren't getting as much nicotine as compared with say nicorette gum or analog cigs. It would be fascinating to find a study done that determines how much nicotine is coming through the vapor.
And like those posting above me, I too have been hours without the e-cig and not gone nuts. So, something good is going on. Next I'm going to start scaling back on the nicotine in the liquid, just not yet.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. I think I might up the nic level by a notch to see if it satisfies my craving. Currently using Boba's in 18. I've got maybe 30 other flavors in my carrying case, but they haven't been touched since I started vaping BB. Next order I'll up it to 24mg and see if that helps. :vapor:

I started 3 and bit months ago and used to have my PV in my hand or mouth most of the day, unless distracted by something. Now 3 months in, I find I still use it a lot but I tend to take fewer inhalations say 2 or 3 and then leave it for 5 or so minutes then another 2-3 drags then leave etc etc. When I'm working or occupied with something I might go a couple of hours and then I usually take say 6-7 hits in one go and then back to 2-3 every 5 or so min's.

I do think that this is a habit just like smoking and that we will all be different eg. we like different flavours and use in different ways/times.

I do know for sure that I feel a benefit in my general health and specifically in my lung capacity / endurance.... and this I like.

Regards
Steve

I go up and down in vaping frequency. For a while I may vape what seems to be more than my old smoking habit. Then other times maybe way less. The thing about my old smoking habit is that it was pretty much always routine. About 1.5 packs a day. Every day....about 1.5 packs a day. Always seemed to need....about 1.5 packs a day. Same brand, same style...about 1.5 packs a day. Glad that's long gone.

I had a new experience the other day. Half way to work and when I went to my vape pouch I realized I had left my just mixed juice on the table at home. Doh! A guy that works for me was in the truck too so I decided to go to work and at least get him started then I could drive back home and get my juice. After being there a couple hours, I remembered my juice, thought about it for a minute and said to myself "I can do this." I never went home and got the juice.

Strangely enough, it wasn't so bad. I have been vaping for a little over 6 months and have not had a single cigarette in that time. I am quite positive that 6 months ago when I was still smoking analogs, not having one would not have been an option. I would have done what ever it took to get a smoke.

I vape constantly but for what ever reason the physical addiction is not as powerful as analogs it seems. Like when I wake up in the morning, it used to be a cigarette was my first thought .... now it's coffee.

I am making an effort to not vape more than I smoked. I was not going to start vaping at my desk but it's so cold in the warehouse (where I would go to smoke) that I started vaping at my desk. However, I am not vaping constantly - I take a drag and set it down. With cigarettes, if I went out to the warehouse and was not in a rush to finish some piece of work, I would smoke the whole cigarette (1.5+ PAD smoker) so I don't think I am vaping more than that.

On the weekends I vape more so I bought some lower nicotine of my favorite juice to switch to when I think I'm vaping a alot. I don't want to up my nicotine habit and so far I think I'm doing OK at that.

Funny thing is even though I smoked at least a pack per day for many many years and now I vape more consistently than I smoked meaning I have my PV in my mouth more minutes per day than I did an actual cigarette. I still feel better now! I breathe better, I sleep better, I smell better. etc etc. Bottom line if I smoked analogs as frequently as i vape i would feel terrible.
