Is that normal? I can't figure out if it's b/c I'm getting the nicotine in a different or if I feel less guilty about vaping so I am doing it more than I normally smoke. Anyone else?

Also, I have now made it two days with no cigarettes and this morning thought, "Maybe I should just take the pack out of my purse and put it away." I haven't done it yet but WOW, even to have that thought....vaping is way better than I thought it would be. Yay!

Yeah, I've done the same thing. Vaping more often than I smoked. It comes down to that getting the nicotine in your system from vaping is much different that the analog. So you don't get as much.

I vape more than I smoked. It's not unusual to chain vape if I'm sitting at the computer or watching tv. However, I've started lowering my nicotine to compensate, without issue, and I'll agree that if I can't vape, I don't get the anxious feeling I did when I had gone a while without a cigarette.

I definitely vape a lot more than I ever smoked, mostly due to the conveniance and lack of guilt and nasty smell on my clothes. I work in lighting maintenance and am the face of my company in my area, even though I dont get paid much I like to set a good impression in hopes that I someday may make more :p plus its good practice for when I eventually venture into my own business, whenever that may be :)

The fact I can vape in the privacy of my room without bothering other people in the house makes it even mo better of an alternative

There's also the fact that I dont have to go out and spend $8 on a pack on cancer sticks that will make me feel like garbage and only last a day or two. Thats at least $40 a week, probably about $70 a week when I was still going out and getting tanked on the weekends ;P

I do it because Vaping doesn't have that built in fail safe that analogs did. I don't feel like crap after vaping like I did if I chain smoked a bunch so my body isn't screaming for me to stop. I do get chest pains if I go nuts with high nic juice so I tend to keep varying strengths on hand, with a mid to low for all day vaping. Even this requires some level of responsibility and logical reasoning.

I'm chain vaping at 35 mg now. Perhaps I have a high tolerance having been a heavy marlboro smoker?

Hope I'm not overdosing myself

Don't read anymore into some posts than it's another persons experience. It's not what you should do. The ECF recommends that heavy smokers start with the highest level of nicotine. The goal is to get off cigs and you just do what you have to do to accomplish that goal. If 35 is what you need, so be it. You're not going to overdose. If you feel queasy, stop vaping. Same as when you smoked too many cigarettes.

What some of these people that vape low nic aren't telling you is they vape low nic but vape gallons of the stuff. So they may be consuming more nicotine than you are.

My mom started with 35 and within a pretty short time after quitting cigs she slowly reduced the nicotine levels naturally.

I don't find that to be the case at all. I absolutely know right away when I've had enough nicotine. Unless your a novice to nicotine, we've had nicotine in our system for many years and our bodies let us know when we're craving or when we've had enough.

Do appreciate your reply. Thank you :)

I smoked for 15ish years about 1 1/2 PAD. I never remember having too much nicotine, just remember my throat being on fire. As for vaping I find that if i'm able to do it, I will puff on my PV all day long. At work this isn't such a problem so I carry high nic juice to make sure I get the amount of nicotine I need to get me through to my next opportunity. At home I know when I'm in for a heavy use day so I cut the nicotine level down a bit in the juice to compensate.

Perhaps I'm alone in the fact that I actually enjoyed smoking, just as I enjoy vaping? I can also go for a much longer period of time between vapes than I ever could smoking. Either way everyone is different but I still recommend not using the juice you only vape once in awhile during work to get your fix as the juice you chain vape at night while you are cruising the forums.. The exception to this rule would be if you can exercise a good amount of self control and stop when you've "had enough".

Being an avid cigar smoker, I made the switch to e-cigs and as a result, my vaping outpaces how much i smoked cigars by at least 20:1. I attribute this to the following:

1. I can do it almost anywhere
2. It's new and cool (for me anyways)
3. I can get flavors that I wasn't able to before

However I have noticed that the flavor production has diminished in all my e-juices. I can't seem to get sweet tasting juices to taste right. Maybe I've vaped so much my tastebuds are off...

I haven't smoked a real cigarette in 30 months, used ECig for few months then put it down. Recently started selling www.livetosmoke.com in local mall and picked it up again and with advent of new and great devices and flavors it's a great and relaxing (safe) alternative. I just love vaporing and still am smoke free!

My experience is a little different because I started at 18mg and all I wanted to do was vape. Sometimes I vaped so much my chest started to feel a little heavy. I'm not sure the absorbtion rate for PG/VG when it's inhaled, but it might have ahd something to do with it. Anyway, I upped my mg to 24 and it really helped me to actually put the PV down and get something done. Just my experience...
