I was wondering if anyone has actually vaped in a airplane lavatory. Someone told me that the alarm would most likely sound and you'd be fined. They said it might not go off if you blow the vapor directly into toilet. Kind of unappealing though. Your thoughts?

Not an airplane, but I've done it on a train numerous times. I don't think the vapor would be able to set off the alarm unless you blow into the sensor -- but blowing into the toilet should work.

My nephew told me he stealth vaped in his seat.

I did too. On a Jetblue airbus. I sat at the window seat with the other two seats toward the aisle occupied by my son and wife. From that position, only the aisle seat across the way can see what one is doing. She was asleep. LOL

Just blow the vapor downward. There is so much air movement on a plane that it dissipates quickly.

I vape on the NYC subway all the time. A little trickier/stealthier there but doable. =)

On the train I hold onto my (thermal) coffee container after Ive finished my hot/steaming coffee. Unless someone is staring directly at you (which does NOT happen in NYC LOL) they see a container and what appears to be coffee steam -- I guess. Nobody has ever approached me nor questioned it. There's an interesting lesson here in sociology. I don't know what it all means but it sure is fun. LOL

I don’t stealth vape on Airplanes so I can’t help you.

I was able to fly on an airplane without smoking a cigarette before I switched to e-Cigs. Not sure why it should be any different.

I may have been choosing the wrong airlines, but the air quality within any I've unzipped my fly were prohibitive of breathing, let alone vaping.

I don't vape on flight either, well unless I lucky enough to be invited along on a private charter, then I ask and, it is usually fine. I flew w/o smoking except on one occasion in a private jet, so why should I need to vape any more than I smoked? I also respect no smoking laws and, if it's posted, I refrain from vaping just as I would have from smoking, or I don't patronize the establishment.

Now offices and such, I ask if I am to be in a lengthy meeting. Most do have smoke breaks so, it's simply asking if i must step outside, or if I can vape in the comfort of the building while smokers have a puff outside.

Great point, it's all I can do to get in and out of there without passing out from holding my breath.
