I'd suggest lowering your nic first and try setting the PV aside for 5-10 minutes when you start to feel anxiety.

For me, symptoms of anxiety were the cue that my nicotine was too high. It took me awhile to figure it out since I'd been at that nic level for months before my tolerance decreased, and my first impulse was to vape more when i started feeling anxious.

I've been having some interesting dreams and it seems to coincide with vaping a little too close to bed time. I also find that if I am vaping a particularly tasty juice it is pretty easy to over do it. It's not like having an analog which gives you the nic buzz immediately vaping seems to build up and hit you all at once. It reminds me of the feeling from using nicorette gum. So you just need to adjust to a new pattern.

Just echoing what everyone else has said: too much nicotine can definitely kick in panic feelings just like caffeine. If it happens, you should probably drop down to a lower strength (I find it's easier to lower the nicotine level than to worry about how often you vape). I don't know why you'd only be experiencing an issue with some liquids (maybe some are tastier and you're vaping more without realizing it?), but it sounds like you'd benefit overall from reducing the strength a bit.

I don't know much about this at all, but I've recently read some stuff here about people who experience depression when they stop smoking and switch to vaping. I guess it has something to do with a sort of MAOI effect that smoking gives some people? Apparently, some of those people have had good luck with the WTA (with tobacco attributes) juice thats recently come out. They were saying that something in the WTA causes the same MAOI effect that smoking does, but that regular e-juice is lacking. Just wanted to mention that in case your anxiety was from a similar cause. The thread is around here somewhere, i think in the General E-Liquids area. I think it was called something like 'WTA is the future'. I've never tried the WTA juice, but wanted to mention that just in case your situation was similar to theirs.
aha! Found the thread. Somewhere in there is the info i mentioned.

Thanks everyone for being so kind. I will try an include a bit more info. I only vape 6mg and 100% vg tobacco flavors, I generally vape in the morning with my coffee and then all day I just dip camel snus and then when I get home in the afternoon I then vape until bed time. So I do not generally vape through the day. So if theirs anything you can recommend I will be grateful, I love vaping and always support the use; however if these panick attacks have something to do I will have to quit vaping, because I am getting really serious and miserable with these attacks.

What mg nic are you using and how much are you vaping? Could try lowering or increasing your nic. I vape 6mg 100% vg and i generally just vape with my morning coffee and throughout the day I dip camel snus. Then after returning home I vape until bedtime. When I do vape I hit it pretty hard while on the computer, seems like I got the habit surfing the net and vape. so generally I only vape in the morning and afternoon then camel snus in between. I just need help with the cause of these panick attack as I love vaping but these attacks are making me miserable. I have been quit analogs for nearly 2 years and vaping the same.

orachel has a point cigs and any addiction cause a chemical reaction in the brain between dopamine and serotonin levels and when you are taking away the other addictive ingredients that are in analogs your body reacts to it and looks for the things that trigger the chemical reaction and if it is not there then it can cause anxiety. it will usually subside after the body decides it really doesn't want it.

I am certainly no expert, but I had panic attacks when I quit smoking cold turkey (for all of three days). I also have them when I don't know where my PV is! So it could be the opposite issue - instead of too much nicotine, maybe you're not getting enough? I don't how much nicotine is in snus. Again, just sharing my experience; I'm not a doctor.

Panic, is a pain in the ...

Have had panic issues since my teenage years. I can tell you what I went through and hopefully you can control your panic.

Quitting smoking CAN give you panic attacks (it did for me) As you go through withdrawls you can be a mess.

For me: ecigs CAN give you panic attacks. I started out ecigs with 0mg as I was in the midsts of quitting smoking so I didint want the nicotine. Had a few panic attacks at first and couldnt figure out why. But panic can be some deeper issues you may not be aware of yet. When I first started ecigs, I ordered PG. Straight PG does not agree with me. I always felt "odd" after vaping, even with 0mg. The "odd" feeling would trigger an attack. I felt better after trying VG.

With Nicotine. I've since switched from 0mg to a low 4-6MG VG base. I tried a 10MG at first, guess what? It gave me a panic attack! As others have said, to much nic can do this to you. Even with the lower MG, if I over do it, it can trigger one. Remember Nicotine is a stimulant. Coffee is too! Combine the two and bam!

As much as I enjoy vaping (even more so now that Ive tried with Nicotine) There still feels like something is missing, and with some of these others posters are saying about WTA or whatever they are called, I can totally see it. But for me at this point, its been 2 years since my last real cigarette. Dont want to introduce anything new. Im good....I havent vaped the whole time either. I use it recreational. I like it, but it doesn't give me that complete satisfaction that a smoke did...but hey that comes with a price of bad health, being smelly, etc. Vaping fits the bill, I can do without.

Probably the biggest piece of advice I could offer: Keep hydrated! I think that is one big glaring issue with ecigs, is that i can dehydrate the heck out of you. Ease up on the coffee. Caffine can also dehydrate you. Try some herbal teas, chamomile is great for panic. I used to hate the mere smell of it, but now I drink lots of it and actually like it now. Can help ease up the tension, and keeps your mind occupied. I know its hard, but put down the ecig every now and then! People seem to over do it, and we are all assuming that this is harmless to our health. The jury is still out on that, we dont know. Whats freaky, is that there seems to be more "up front" side effects that come up when people make the switch to ecigs. I think alot of that is over use, but hey Im nor a DR or anything. My motto has always been: all in moderation. Vaping should be no different. I treat it like a smoke. Have to stop what I'm doing to vape. While I dont have to go outside anymore, I go to a "designated" vaping area of my house (basement). I dont vape infront of my kid, or nieces....Still get panic attacks once in a while, but they are fewer triggered by ecigs.

If there is a specific juice you like at night, just order some at 1/2 your normal nic level. Vape all you want and the full strength is there if you need it. I try to vape 12mg or less after dinner and I'm sleeping much better.
