Oh, I thought it said cartridges per week. I put 6! Yikes. I use about 3 ml a day. I should have put that in the comments.

Oh, I went back and did the survey again (only up to this question) and it did say cartridges per week. I had answered more than 5, so I guess that's about as accurate as I can get. I still wish I'd left a comment about ml/day.

Several side notes here...

The Moffitt Center is an absolutely awesome organization!

When I spoke with the contact phone lady (undergrad, I presume), I did mention that the survey could be improved with a bit more refinement. Since she was a contact person, she had no concept of my intentions.

The Moffitt survey is ever so much like all the others I've completed (including the Swiss survey to which I 'donated' my saliva for data evaluation). Puffs per day, carts vs. cigs & etc. are kinda meaningless when it comes down to those that are experienced and hardcore.

I have no idea if the comment sections have an impact. But I do utilize 'em!

Nonetheless, I'm glad that I can contribute to the research!

I also used the comments section to suggest they contact CASAA, Bill Godshaw and Dr. Michael Siegel. I hope they are serious about expanding their vaping knowledge.

In the comments section, I told them their "how many cartridges" question was difficult to answer for many vapers who don't use cartridges and that a more appropriate question would be "how many milliliters of e-liquid do you consume. (If you use cartridges, assume 1 cartridge = 1 ml.)" Also pointed out in the brand question 1. that "ego" is not a brand, and that 2. they could have at least included some "advanced" brands such as Joyetech, Smok, Provari, etc.

All in all, though, a good survey despite the obvious fact that no vaper participated in designing the questions.

i struggled with "how many cartridges a day do you use".

T

I gave that a  and a  and went for the highest number. Hopefully they'll figure it out. I suspect they were expecting 99% of the responses to be from people using small PVs and that's probably the case until a few of us respond.

Question, Iffy.. have you gotten your results back from them ( if you requested it?) I haven't, that's why I was curious. Thanks!

I did the Geneva study, and I haven't gotten my results back yet.

I haven't received my results. Considering the time lapse twix their survey and the sample tube mailing, I don't expect results anytime soon. Just glad that they're conducting the study.

Good point. I don't even remember when I took that survey, but when the envelope with the sample collection vial arrived I was completely confused. I had totally forgotten about it.
