VAPOR CORP (VPCO:US): Stock Charts - BusinessWeek

Anyone experienced with the stock market? If you are please give us your opinion of this company. It just seems like a sure thing that some ecig companies and the people invested in them are going to prosper soon. Now with ecigs in movies and the FDA having a very hard time stopping it, I can easily see ecigs blowing up in mainstreams everywhere!

Bust, I am very involved in the stock market, and I put a post a couple of days ago that e-cigs would be a big business and would eventually be publicly traded. I will look into it & get back to you. I have been buying lithium stocks though. In fact, there is an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund), LIT, with holds a basket of lithium stocks.

Vapor Corp (Vapor), formerly Miller Diversified Corporation is a development-stage company. The Company and its subsidiaries are engaged in designing, marketing and distributing personal vaporizers, under the Fity-One, Krave, EZ Smoker, Smoke Star and Green Puffer brands. Personal vaporizers are electronic devices that vaporize a liquid solution, which provide users an experience akin to smoking without actual combustion and as such no smoke or noxious odor is dispelled from the device. On September 1, 2009, the Company acquired Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc.

I am not familiar with any of these e-cigs, but I am sure some folks on this site are.

My prediction is that some company with the cash to back them up will start taking out some of the current e-cig makers, and eventually all these current makers that we love will not be able to compete. Kind of "the Walmart Effect".

I agree to a certain degree.
There already are large manufacturers though.
The mod guys are leading the innovation faster than any large manufacturer at the moment. Once the technology reaches the point that the mod guys can't improve on it at a reasonable cost, then the big guys will take over. Juice feed systems are where the innovations are really taking place right now. A large company makes a carto & five minutes later a mod guy has disassembled it & made it better.

Almighty, I think you are right, and for the near future, I think modders will hold their market. I do believe at some point big cash will be able to do it less expensively. I also see a designer space in there, where a "Juicy Couture" (just an example) will come out with the must have designer brand,

This is just the beginning......

It is good to see that some bigger players are getting into this market for several reasons , 1. We need someone with $$ to do the studies and get this BS behind us or find out WHAT e-cigs do to you ?? 2. This will legitimize the industry to an extent 3. The industry to grow up and start being an industry vs. and chop shop in China .

I will keep my eye on this stock , Eventually they will start to acquire some more companies that are mod based IMO , the technology that is being developed by the modders is WAY beyond what China is doing , IP will become a big part of this as well IMO .

I do believe the modders with good technology will make monet off of the wave, and I think some independant modders with unique products will continue to operate, but many will decide to sell their technology for a nice profit.

And for anyone wondering why some modders are now applying for patents---here's your answer!
