thanks bro.

:rolleyes:PS: 6th order done.

Hahaha great job, I thought I was going crazy on the ordering :)

Did they offer faster shipping to your location? I am in the UK and I always pay $2.50 extra for "ePacket" delivery, and my two Chinese orders have so far arrived in 9 days (but that was over the Easter long weekend) and 5 days. I think with normal, non-express shipping it would be more like 10-15 days at least.

on that note: there are a pre coiled Ni200 there, and since I am pretty new to this, what do you all recomend to get .2, .1, .15, .18, less then more than.
.15-.20 should work well on these dna40 clone based mods.

I find that the best quality vapes for me at least are with coils from .08 to .11 ohms.
I build my own coils as that way I am able to control the spacing of the coil and choice of wick material.
The lower resistance coils seem to produce a warmer more flavorful vape, for me at least.
I have read of some issues of the resistance hopping around on factory pre-built nickel coils.

Ooh, ooh, ooh - once again for me, FT beat expectations!

VP4UWjY.png

Two days after ordering and two days ahead of their own ETA (which was itself 6 days ahead of the worst case '7 business days').

I still love you, FastTech - more importantly, it seems you still love me!

Now just hurry up and package and get it out tonight so I have a tiny sliver of a chance of getting it on Saturday. Yes, that would really be pushing my luck :)

And we want a review immediately when you get it (OK, I'll give you 30 minutes to play with it first)! :)

So I made arrangement to get a refund for my kangxin flask and bought a Waidea flask to replace it from their US warehouse that said eta may 10th. Was wondering if anyone else ordered from the US warehouse for this batch has received notice of shipment?
I'll say it again:
I reached out to Doris @ Focal to see if they have received the Updated Waideas and here is her reply:
Thank you so much for reaching me out.
I have confirmed with Andy from Waidea that they are going to ship out the updated version to us. Please note that the current stock in our USA warehouse aren't updated version since that arrived at our warehouse on May 10th.
If you purchase from China warehouse, it would be updated version.
If anyone is considering ordering one of these I would definitely contact Doris to ensure they will send you the Updated Version in your order just to avoid any possibilities of receiving one that has not been updated. She is very helpful.
Bad news is it appears to retain the fixed pin. This is a pic that Waidea sent to Doris.

received my waidea VF. however my ohms keep jumping. SX mini reads 0.74, Vaporshark reads 0.77, but my VF is all over the place.. halp!!!!
Just saw this, Waidea will tend to read attys at a higher resistance than they are on first read. After you vape it and let it sleep, it should wake reading correct resistance. Waidea tends to be more stable with resistance readings than Kangxin. My Kangxin adjusts the resistance reading after every vape until it refines down to the correct resistance. If either of the above are what is ocurring there might not really be an issue.

If what you describe goes further it is the 510 ground loop.

I'm a bit impatient at this point, all I have is my Ipow2 and well it's not good enough for me now that I have had TC. Been getting some dry hits and I forgot how nasty they are. Also find myself charging it about 4 to 5 times a day. I just want my new flask here yesterday... also 15w isn't good enough.

Understood, if your handy & not afraid to fix it yourself, go for it! Enjoy!

Wait, you received an order from fasttech is just 5 days?

That's insane. I ordered some tanks from a USA company, I'm in Texas (usa) which is in the middle of the country, so no matter which coast it comes from I'm basically in the middle and it took 5 or 6 days.... 5 days from China to the UK! Impressive.

I always use epacket, my last couple of orders (fasttech and focal) take about 2 weeks (give/take). Also had an order from deals machine in China, came Hungary post, took over 3 weeks.

Yes. And it was my first ever order. Hence my present undying love for FastTech :)

I made a point of only ordering products that were In Stock or Next Day. At least four of them were Next Day, but, doubly impressively, it still shipped same day - about 10 hours after I placed the order.

It wasn't a small order, either - 17 items, $122. Six clone attys and eleven accessories - screws, o-rings, spare tank glass, that sort of thing.

Here's the tracking info with the other dates added (all times local, ie China time except for top two)

So it showed up on the courier 18 hours after FT marked it shipped, and was on the plane another 18 hours after that. Presumably it landed about 9 hours later, then spent only one full day in customs and was released to Royal Mail at 9am on Friday morning, for delivery to me just over 24 hours later - 1pm Saturday.

I'm assuming this is represents just about the perfect order time from FastTech to the UK :) I can't imagine much more time could be shaved off. I suppose the only margin is if they'd managed to get it out before 9pm on Day 1, ie maybe taking 5 hours to ship instead of 10 and so shipping it at say 4pm; then perhaps it might have had a chance to catch the plane a day earlier.

But I reckon the best part was customs in the UK. Things can disappear there for literally weeks if you're unlucky. So far I've been lucky both times: 24 hours on the FT order, and my 3FVape flask was also 24 working-hours - actually a total of five days but it reached customs late on the Thursday before the four-day Easter long weekend then got released at 1pm of the Tuesday after it. So in fact more like half a business day in that case.

Of course now I've gushed so much about this, the next one is going to take two months :)

But yeah, I will never ever order without ePacket! That $2.50 is worth vastly more than that in its value to the impatient and obsessed such as I :)

Hell, if tomorrow they increased the price of ePacket to $15, I reckon I'd still get it on most orders!

Well that's impressive. I always use epacket. Fasttech and focal. Shipping times about the same. Must be something with the UK I'm guessing? I had 1 order from fasttech disappear completely and got a refund after a month or so... Poof vanished.

I've got a screw, a tiny brass screw that mark bugs mailed to me with tracking from Romania, shipped on March 30th I think it was, got to USA customs on April 4th and has been there ever since. Close to 6 weeks now? There is NOTHING I can do according to the post office. Just wait. :( it's the 510 screw for my wae2.... Lost in customs limbo. :(

Oh and to add... I've ordered from. Fast tech and paid for DHL shipping, like $30 USD... And it took like 4-6 days (can't remember now).... Under a week. That's when I decided the epacket (which is usually a free option on my orders) at 14 days is better than +$30 for 6 days. IMHO

Sucks about the screw, sorry!

I've got an incoming packet from the US that may be taking unduly long in Customers. A user here very kindly sent me a packet of Rayon / Cellucotton to see how I like it. That was sent 8 days ago now and is almost certianly in customs. It arrived in the UK on Thursday, but tracking hasn't updated since. It's not been nearly long enough for me to get worried, or even annoyed, it's just that it could be any day or could be a month, that's the part I hate the most :(

And yeah I can't imagine there'd be any orders I was so desperate for I'd pay DHL prices. Or rather, I possibly could imagine such an order/product, but given the vagaries of customs and perhaps even of FastTech/any vendor, the delivery time still wouldn't be certain enough to warrant so much. Would suck doubly to pay that money and still have it take weeks.

Anyway I really mustn't complain about customs - not only have I been very lucky thus far, at least from China, but I'm also dodging duty and tax on every order, thanks to the Chinese vendors' standard "Gift: $20" labelling! :)
