Guys, what's the best/recommended GT clone?
I already ordered the GT-T V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0mL) SS + Glass (matte) which is coming with my Infinite Flask.
But I just got that on a whim, quickly, as it was In Stock at the time and I didn't want anything out of stock that might further delay the Flask.
I'm now putting in a longer term FT order, regardless of stock, so if I didn't get the best one I might add that now - if you guys could recommend any others from FT?
I think I might remember mention of the GT-S perhaps? (GT-S AFC Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0ml) stainless steel + PC / 23mm dia ?)

I know this is the wrong thread for this question, but have you ever found the double window cage cloned for the taifun gt2?
Ah ha, thanks. So it seems that I bought exactly the right type, but not the best manufacturer.
On that basis I'll wait to see what mine is like. If I like it so much that I want two, I'll get the hotcig as well. Ditto if I can see that the concept would be great if only the implementation better. Only if mine seems to be built fine but doesn't excite me will I not bother!
You don't need to be a guru to love a tank! Do you know if the one you have is on FT and if so which one?

That would be the one. I've seen the fasttech offerings and I'm not impressed. But I'd really like to find that one.
The I have is actually a taifun gt 1 top from when they first came out and a taifun gt2 base from fasttech. The base is like $6? And I have several GT1's... The gt2 base has breathe new life into them....
I am checking stock levels as much as I can. I had the same thought process! I have order from FT before and it takes forever to get to me. I knew if I waited no telling when I would get. If I see wait time going down to less than 7 days soon I might change order. I got to have something though!! Actually hoping they will mess up order & send me the 50w or 60w.You ordered the 40W?
Keep an eye on those stock levels and on your order. If yours hasn't shipped when others come in stock, I would message them and ask to change it. 40W is fine, it's what we're all using right now. But 50 or 60W is better if you can get it - I do prefer TC on my IPV4 with 60W vs my Waidea at 40W.
So yeah you'll do fine with the 40w, but if you can get an easy chance to get the 50 or 60 instead you should.

I think I said it before guys. Unless it has a eta date, the ships in 7 days or whatever doesn't actually mean anything. I've had items say ships in 7 day actually ship the next day. And I've waited for items that were in stock and supposed to ship same day or next day. I never pay much attention to the ships in # days.
what if my order now says packaging? Does it usually ship soon after it says this? Also if I want to change or cancel order to a 50w can u do as long as it has not shipped? I know this is not FT FORUM. But since we are on this subject
So my new Waidea flask arrived today and I have to agree with previous inpressions, better fit and finish then the kangxin unit. I'll be posting some side by side photos and my observations tomorrow. So far TC seems to be working fine but man is that temp protect warning annoying! I wish I could see the real wattage like I could on my kangxin.
I'm not sure about canceling a order that is now packaging. But yeah, it should ship soon after you see that.
My waidea doesn't say temp protect at all. Like ever. It will throttle the wattage down which I can see, but it never displays temp protect warning like the real dna40 does. I think it's been said before that is normal. So I'd guess if your seeing that warning you've either got an older version or a newer version... Obviously a different version.

Yeah when in Packaging it could ship at any minute. My Flask had a day in "Waiting for Packaging", which I had assumed was a quick step but turned out not to be that quick. My guess is that it means "The batch just arrived but we've not got it ready to go out, yet." Then it was in Packaging for about half a day I think before it Shipped.
Unior, I've been wondering for a while if FT ships things over the weekend, so would be grateful to know when your package ships exactly. You said it was Packaging as of 12 noon China time on Saturday, so if it now ships before Monday morning China time, that will be good to know.
Just placed my fourth FT order - a second Lemo 2, two Goliath clones, another Magma clone, and lots of screws and o-rings and 50ml needle bottles. I'm hoping it goes out Monday like my order before the Flask, so I have another chance of same-week delivery
As @Croak suggested, I emailed Mr Given Lees of Geeco regarding the Nickel Purity. I heard back from him today, after a couple of days.
I asked him a somewhat technical question: does Nickel Purity modify the Coefficient of Resistance, such that we can use the feature to adjust for different wires with different coefficients, such as Titanium (coefficient 0.0035 versus nickel 0.006). This he answered, somewhat.
I also went on to ask the specific number used - eg is Nickel Purity 100 = a coefficient of 0.006? And if so, does 50 mean 0.003? This he did not answer at all, which was no great surprise.

I'm not surprised, it was always quite optimistic hoping he'd be able to answer a pretty technical question through two barriers to communication: English to Chinese, and Tech to Salesman. I was hoping maybe he'd pass it on to Infinite or his own tech team, but that was also very optimistic.
It does sound promising that he specifically mentions Coefficient. But he might simply have copied and pasted that from my email - certainly he capitalised it exactly as I did He then negates and re-instates that optimism in each successive statement.
So all in all, nothing close to definitive, and it might be saying nothing whatsoever - he might not have understood my questions, and/or if he's not technical and hasn't asked anyone technical, he might just be telling us general specs which we already know.
But it's positive in that it's at least not negative He didn't say "no this has no effect with Ti", and he did specifically mention coefficient, even if there's a chance he just used the term because I did. So there's still every chance Nickel Purity will be of benefit.
Anyway was worth a shot, and we should hopefully know soon enough. I ordered several spools of Ti Grade 1, expedited shipping from Germany, which I hope will arrive at around the same time as my Flask next week, and I will be testing Ti with Nickel Purity as soon as I can.

For the low Nickel Purity adjust lower than 40, 20-40

- which is implying that no, it won't help with Titanium,
- perhaps because in fact it doesn't modify the Coefficient, and he used that term incorrectly;
- or perhaps because it does, but there's some other factors involved that make Titanium behave differently for temp sensing/prediction.

Mine is marked SHIPPED! So I guess they do ship on weekends. My FT order page says last updated 5/16/15 5:32am. I am in U.S. central standard time. And it is 10:42am here so last updated doesn't mean the most recent time I checked.oh and get this..... The 50w silver is marked 'in stock' now. Just my luck!
