would appreciate if you can pm me the price too.

I was under the impression (wrong?) that Geeco and SXK/Infinite is using the same build and chips inside. How is Geeco different thank the SXK/Infinite?

Same chips inside yes. Build I'm not sure of - maybe. It could simply be the SXK flask with a logo added. But definitely identical function. I've been trying to find a better picture than is on their Alibaba page, their rep hasn't sent me one yet. I thought I saw one somewhere but can't find it by search now. Maybe I'm mis-remembering and it's their rDNA clone I saw not the flask.

Anywy they'll function identically to SXK's own flasks and based on their Zero clone I'd expec build quality to be good as well.

Both Geeco with this version and Infinite with the non temperature controlled version simply had SXK put their names on the SXK flasks and sold them as their own

Yeah it's probably just a logo on top for the flask

Also: I just contacted Given Lee of Geeco to ask for confirmation that there is a Geeco 60W flask available. We had seen pics, and now he has confirmed that they have them in stock.

I am asking him where I can buy it from - it might only be direct from Geeco at the moment.

Anyway, I think rumours of the death of the VF clones have, thus far at least, been greatly exaggerated :)
All I need is the 60 watt SXK chip then I could throw it my black Waidea that bit the dust. Maybe soon they'll be available as a modders board. Maybe this Given dude will send me a board for a price. MAYBE MAYBE MAYBE

So the ones being sold in FT, both 50w and 60w were the SXK and not the Geeco?

I have contacted Geeco and receive a similar quote you mentioned. Very curious what FC indicative price was, can you pm me please?

The ones sold by FT were SXK's own flask - chip and flask both theirs. We assume the Geeco is basically that identical flask with a Geeco logo added, but we can't confirm 100% at least until we see more pics and really until someone gets one in their hand. But TPat said there was history of that happening so it seems very likely.

The price was a price we would all immediately pay for a clone of a mod which is better than the original which costs $300. It was more than the price on FT and less than the $95 Geeco quoted including shipping/fees. I won't say any more than that, Doris specifically asked me not to share it and she's been very forthcoming with me and TPat and others before me. If the final price has to be $5 higher she doesn't want anyone saying "But you said to X that it would cost Y, you are price gouging!" - and people really do do crap like that :(

She can't get stock now and as soon as she does we'll see the price. If you want one immediately the only options are Geeco for $94 or that US Vendor for $99. But hopefully it won't be too much longer before Focal has them.

Think of Geeko and Infinite as Brands and SXK as a manufacturer of a product just like Maytag Products are manufactured by Whirlpool or many of Sears Craftsman electrical tools were manufactured by Black & Decker.

my VF clone (klanxin I think it was) up and died on me. the 510 was giving me issues so I just stopped using it. didn't realize I left batteries in the device. when to swap batteries to test and I realized they were in there. one completely died. put in some fresh batteries and it wouldn't even power on. not sure what happened.

I don't think the enclosure is nice enough to warrant a chip swap-out. might just go to the bone yard

looks like they'll be around for a while, as there are few runs of stock from different vendors. The trick would be to know which version/agent/finish you getting i think.

On a related note, what do you think about the Yiloong Squonker Vapor Flask? as it seems they are the only one with a VF Squonker clone and it might be short-lived if it follows the suit.

Well one good thing about the Kx case is it has a nice ground screw already in place. Put in in the classy's if your not wanting it.

Know Waidea is working on one as well. Yiloong hasn't been released for sale yet has it?

I think Waidea will eventually add floating pins and higher wattages as their sales drop off with the SXK flasks now out on market across all dna40 products. Will they have nickel purity, no idea!

Vapor Flask Squonk DNA 40 V2.1S

China Bottom feeder Flask -Jiangmen Yiloong Industrial Co., Ltd.

Here are both links to compare but both are using stock photos & I do not think Either are ready for sale yet

Pretty sure Waidea will be the nicer of the two fit and finish wise & Yiloong will likely be available in higher wattages before Waidea will be.
