So the set wattage on the display increases?

yes! right now I'm using it at 13w but when I push the button the wattage increase to 30for the first second. this is the first time that append this week.
it will continue untill the device is on, but if it goes in standby mode I can't know if it will continue the next time

as far is I know there are 3 version

- low ohm reading & says low battery & not asking if new coil
- low ohm reading & throttling & asking if new coil
- fixed ohm reading & throttling & asking if new coil

I have one of the first batch (flask) and the nebula from the third batch

It amazes me (some of) you guys like the throttling at low battery? I hate it. I thought it was a bug, I can't believe they're saying it's intentional?

I guess it could be seen as OK in VW mode. But in TC mode it's horrible - you try to vape and it cuts the wattage and you think you must be low on juice, or have a wicking problem, or have a resistance/atomizer problem. Eventually you realise everything is fine, it's just you're now too low on battery! It's so annoying.

Glad the ohm reading is finally confirmed as fixed.

And regarding the chips - they definitely are SXK's own. I've had various discussions with them via email, which ultimately led to them fixing the low resistance.

Out of interest, did the increase teh default NP setting when the resistance was fixed? Does it still default at 70, or is it lower now? (The 'correct' value for Ni200 is around 62.)

I told them they should rebrand it as a TCR setting, advertising it for use with Titanium (NP = 35) but I guess they still haven't done that.

Seems strange that SXK defaults the 'Nickel Purity' setting to 70 when most everyone uses Ni200 which would really need a setting of 62?

What are they thinking?

Well that's my question - have they changed it? The reason they originally defaulted it to 70 was because they had the low resistance reading, and the NP setting always needed to be a bit higher than expected. Nickel was 70 instead of 60-62; Titanium was 40 instead of 35; etc.

Now they've apparently fixed the low resistance, so they should also have lowered NP. I am asking if in fact they have - possibly they haven't. And if they haven't, my guess is they just forgot.

Out of the box, NP setting of 70.

SXK posted on Facebook today, pointing to DHGate as a place for end-users to buy their mods in single units. It was the Zero they linked to, but a search for SXK shows all their mods, including the VFs:

http://www.dhgate.com/product/facto...-vaporflask/250320171.html#s3-19-1b|948661497

$65.69 including shipping, which is a few dollars cheaper than Focal and (I think) other retailers, but personally I'd use the known-good Focal rather than DHGate with which I have had no experience, and haven't heard of experience (maybe others have?) I'm sure they're legit, just no idea on processing/shipping time, customer service, etc. Also the only shipping option they show for me in UK is Singapore Post, with no option for the much faster EMS/ePacket.

Anyway it's another option for buying SXK mods and other vaping products with free shipping and in single units, which is no bad thing.

Having a problem with my SXK VF! When I put fully charged batteries in it works for a couple of minutes then shows the low battery indicator & goes dead. I haven't been on here in a few few because I have been using a yihi temp. control mod. So if this issue has come up already could someone please reference me the pages. Thanks! Any advice welcomed!
