Yep this thread is titled as a clone thread. My post wasn't designed to be argumentative as you state. You can certainly dispute my calling this a counterfeit as opposed to a clone..... Usually when one can't fault the message they attack the messenger (as you did)... In a spirit of discussion (and not argument nor personal attacks) please tell me how this is not a counterfeit. In others words lets play nice and have a civil discussion.

I think most people are more interested in how well these things work rather than the semantics of whether they are a clone/copy/counterfeit etc which add nothing to this discussion really. For what its worth, I think they are counterfeit in some degree but easily distinguishable from the 'real' thing for all that. Now, back OT I think....;)

Why not just order one and see for yourself heck they are cheap enough for testing.
I mean heck this thread has 122 pages of feedback and info on them.
Try it for yourself you just might be surprised at how well they do work.

Agree.... others chose to argue semantics and attack a poster(me)... instead of attacking the post contents...., like you I'm back on topic...

Good point.... I test alot of stuff... but can't afford to test everything that hits the market.... am talking with Hcigar and Yihi now about a couple thing to grab and test....not to mention the beta testing I've done,am doing,(free gratis) for several companies/vendors...

So I also like info from those who have devices I don't have or am not gonna test myself... such as this one.

Seeing as this is not only a copy of an original design, but also carries their branding, counterfeit is pretty accurate.

Yeah I think it's a little chicken Scheisse with the engraved branding, that they could have done without but there again as they are right now you'd be hard pressed to mistake them for the real deal.

But to be honest I bought mine for testing, and compairing, and eventually when/if the board dies or when/if Evolv finally gets the screen glitch worked out I plan to convert it to an authentic DNA40 board.

Something else I just noticed the chinese are using different fonts than the authentic.

Here is the pic you posted of the bottom of your

Here is a pic of an authentic

Look closely at the VF logo the fonts are different.

Ordered 1 silver VF v3 at Focal yesterday (status now=collecting item) after reading all the good reviews and info from here, just get so curious about the TC I want to experience it by myself (also I just wanted something new ;)). So for 66euro i give it a try.

I ordered a black one from Focal on Sunday. My order status changed to 'collecting item' the next day. Still says that today. I think the demand for these clones is sky high at the moment so we could be in for a wait, although I hope not..

Ive got a Sunlay/ Waidea 1:1 on order from 3Fvape too. I ordered it on the 15th March and the status still says 'Payment accepted'. I'm playing the long waiting game for that one I think..

Just received my Kangxin Vapor Flask V3 today from Focalecig. Ordered on March 11th.

I noticed on the Kangxin box there is an "Authentication Sticker" where you scrape off the gray coating and then go to
the Kangxin website then select the "Query True and False" drop down menu under the "SERVICE" tap to verify a code
of 4 groups of 5 digits each. I just entered them as one long number and it was verified
as a Kangxin authentic product. "The products you purchased are authorized by Kangxin tech."

I noticed that in TC mode the "TEMPERATURE PROTECTION" doesn't flash on the screen, however observing the temperature indicator
that it will ramp up to the selected temperature. I chose a setting of 420 F @ 30 watts.

It will ramp up like this sequence here: 120 - 270 - 370 - 410 - 420 - 410 - 420 - 410 - 410 - 420 - 410 - 410 - 410 - 410 - 420 - 420 - 410F.
The intervals being about roughly 250 milliseconds apart... as best as I'm able to estimate.

So it definitely appears to be working, it may be the newer chip design that some have spoke about here.
Took me awhile to get it rolling, about 30 minutes or so fiddling around with the settings and buttons.
The manual is definitely not all that specific when it comes to the settings and it still states that "TEMPERATURE PROTECTION" will flash
on the screen, which it now does not, instead showing the temperature adjusting as you're vaping to the desired temperature set.

I have NOT seen it go over the desired temperature setting yet. Hopefully I won't.

I'll keep fiddling around with it some more and maybe be brave enough to post a video... :2cool:

My build is a ni200 28ga in a 3.5mm ID coil with 12 very slightly spaced wraps for a .19 ohm resistance.
I used a Kuro Coiler to wind the coil and then gently pulled it apart to leave a minute space between the coil wraps.
I am using rayon aka cellucotton as the wick in a Taifun GT 2 RTA.
I'm very much a n00b at this nickel coil building and such but feel mighty pleased so far that it hasn't gone south on me yet...

Thats the exact same way the TP works on my 3fvape silver kangxin
Tried the dry cotton burn on mine and w8th the coil I was using only got a slight scorch when I reached 460 degrees
Just for fyi the coil was a 3.5mm twisted 28/30 8 wrap .12ohm.
