Kiwi, first congrats!

The battery screws will get better once you swap batteries a couple times. Mine were the same way but fine now and a couple weeks of use.

The uneven battery height is normal, or at least consistent with the two I have had in my hands.

So far so good. Not entirely sure how I can try to replicate the issue but we'll see

Just enjoy the vape and don't try to get it to fail. It will ruin your first experience!

Congrats Kiwi!

Battery tolerance is super tight. My LG HE2, Efest purple and Samsung 25R Don't fit. Only the vtc4 does. Hmm

Hmm, my LG HE2s do fit. You did remove any additional tape from the outside I take it?

The bottom button sticks out quite a bit more and is wriggly

That's how both of mine are as well. Not wriggly but the bottom buttons stick out farther than the tops.

So far so good. Not entirely sure how I can try to replicate the issue but we'll see

Are you running it in temp mode? If not I doubt you'd have any issues. From what I've read and experienced myself, problems only happen in temp mode.

Thanks everyone!

So I took out my calipers. All 4 of my VTC 4s came out to 18.22 to 18.23 mm. Same goes for my LG HE2 and purple Efest. I've actually need able to get them to fit now (was scared of exerting force initially) so that part's ok.

I've swapped the positions of the battery caps and things are a little battery. I assume that the threads will smooth out given that it's aluminum hahaha.

For the buttons, seem like it's supposed to be that way? Not sure, but I guess I'll be okay with it. Was a little disappointed about the 2 scratches on it but to be honest it would've happened within 24 hrs anyway hahah.

And yeap! Been running it at tenperature mode only. Plan to do so for the next 1 week and hopefully nothing craps out!

But yeah. I do LOVE the flask as a device. Might have been a little underwhelmed due to some of these issues but yeah. I love the size (online pictures just don't do it justice), the wait and the feel of it. Vapes fine regardless of left or right handed

From what I`ve heard problems occur only in temp mode at 20W-40W above 450f.

All that aside Kiwi, glad yours came with the centered screen, and it does look GORGEOUS.

AH yes that's the conditions. I keep forgetting. I'll be doing that and see how it goes then!

And yes I was veeeery relieved that my screen came out perfectly positioned!

You won't have to try. If they're there they will show themselves. It's mainly in temp control mode using nickel wire where most of the issues show up.

You want to talk about disappointment?

I was lucky enough to purchase one when they went on sale at VapeRev. They were sold out within 7 minutes. Bought it, I think, on a Thursday. Received the tracking email that day. Checked it on Friday and all it said was that the shipping information had been sent to FedEx. That they hadn't yet picked it up. Checked again the next Monday and no change. Contacted VapeRev and they went about researching it. They told me that they had definitely put it in the shipment and apparently FedEx lost it. So, they cancelled my order. Oh great!

I pitched a fit and asked them to call me when they got their next shipment in and before they put them up for sale on their website. about 3-4 weeks later I get the call from them and place my order. Come to find out, not getting the first one was a blessing in disguise as the one they sent me was the v1 and the one I just ordered was a v2 DNA30.

I get the package and am stoked. Opened it up and what the hell? The damn fire button is missing.

Contacted Vapor Flask and they were very apologetic and explained that they were correcting their QC issues. They overnighted a fire button. Received it on Saturday, popped it on and all was well. That v2 is going strong with no issues.

Mine arrived today too....a little gritty on one battery cap. I am assuming that this is because the perfectly line up the cap indentations. Bottom button protrudes more than top. I am assuming that this is so you can feel the difference in the dark.

Gorgeous unit...no trouble so far. Pics and pics for scale with Reo Grand LP

To the folks with flasks, are your charging boards as exposed as mine? I've been told it's not supposed to be the case

As a matter of fact, yours does look wrong. I thought something looked a little peculiar when I looked at your images earlier.

All 4 of mine look like this...

It does not protrude...it is exposed. Looking on Amazon now for cell phone usb plugs...you know...the little rubber ones. I will post what I find. Need them for the XPV too...same deal.
