Received my Vapor Flask last week and was disappointed to see a significant blemish on the seam between the top plate and the flask body. Please see the attached pic.

The practical side of me wants to just say keep the darn thing and deal with it, but the OCD side is winning out and I sent an email out to the info@vaporflask.com email address to request a replacement.

At $300 these things really should be impeccable (the same quality one would demand from high end mech mods).

Am I out of line here? What is the group-think on this one?

This is driving me nuts! These things are selling like hotcakes, so I know there's a bunch of them out there, but all we hear about on here is the doom-and-gloom bad stuff. It seems like we would see more post from people bragging about their newly aquired high-end pv, I know I would! he!!, I post up pix and comments about my good CHEAP stuff!

You have no idea how much I would love to share awesome story of my flask. You might even see me take selfies in a pink tutu.

But alas... That is not to be.

Sending mine to evolv today :-(

Good luck! I recommend not sending via USPS since you have to sent to a PO Box. Mine was delivered Saturday and has said ready to pick up for the last two days. I emailed Evolv twice since then trying to figure out if they picked it up or not. No response, so now I have no real idea where a $300 device I had for a week is, or when the hell I might get it back.

Yeah after the emails back and forth stopped I emailed them three days in a row... Then he told me the rma info was on their Facebook as an announcement... I thought their cs was stellar until yet another retailer who thinks Facebook is a viable way to tell their customers the bad news...

Are we talking Evolv or VF? If you're talking Evolv can you link their Facebook page because I couldn't find it when searching. I just want someone to tell me if they picked my Flask up from the post office since it's been there 3 days now.

I am on both sides of the fence. I currently own 3 DNA40 Flasks. Two of them are working as intended without issue and I am loving them. The other is being RMAed today after I get off work.

When they work, they are a fantastic device that I would highly recommend.

I also own a DNA30 Flask that I am trying to see if I can get the board swapped out to a 40. It has worked flawlessly since day 1 and I received it w/o blemish.

I intended to take some pix of the entire group once I got the RMA back.

Does that help any?

How did they have you fix the connection ? Did you remove the small hex screws and tighten bolt under the 510 connection. Because that's what they told me to do over the phone abd it didn't help me. My v2 Flask is giving me poor battery readout when my batteries get half dead. Its done it to 2 different sets of batteries. I'm using Vtc 4s and 5s. I'm supposed to be sending it in to get repaired for the problem. Not sure which one bothers me more, changing batteries early or sending in the Flask.

I just experienced a problem with my VF dna30. The screen flickers while firing then the device goes into lock mode. Contacted VF and they are supposed to send me an RMA number and address to send it for repairs this afternoon. I hope they arent too bogged down with dna40 repairs to get mine back to me before next year. Lol

Thanks to all for the advice. I really appreciate the affirmation that the blemish just wasn't acceptable.

An update:

I decided to call Dixie's Vapor Shop where I bought the flask (if you can buy any of your vape supplies here I absolutely recommend that you do!), and had a chat with Dave (owner) about the situation.

Dave is a really upstanding guy, and he offered an advance replacement option (which is huge to me as I leave for a business trip to Japan this weekend). He is sending out a new one and I will send the old one back.

This outfit provided one of the finest CS experiences I have ever had the pleasure of receiving, inside the "Vape World" or out. I can't recommend Dave and his team at Dixie's enough.

Hopefully I will have a flawless flask to show off in a couple of days.

Thanks to all who provided feedback and especially to the guys down at Dixie's.
