Yeah after the emails back and forth stopped I emailed them three days in a row... Then he told me the rma info was on their Facebook as an announcement... I thought their cs was stellar until yet another retailer who thinks Facebook is a viable way to tell their customers the bad news...

I think they are overwhelmed with all the people reporting problems, CS is no longer there, the person that I talked to was..... lets just say its not in my top 1,000,000 of customer service :laugh:

Are we talking Evolv or VF? If you're talking Evolv can you link their Facebook page because I couldn't find it when searching. I just want someone to tell me if they picked my Flask up from the post office since it's been there 3 days now.

The reason why I chose UPS, which had delivered the Flask to Evolv by 10:30 yesterday morning.
Haven't heard anything yet, but will update once I do....

I got jumped on earlier in this thread for saying how things have gone for me and about their lack of getting back in email. I understand that they are overwhelmed right now but I think making people wait a day or two longer to get their devices back is better then not responding in a timely manner. I heard I should be getting mine back later this week and look at the Hana thread it is no better then the vf thread. They both have bad boards from evolv but that is only half of vf problems. The other half is sending out garbage for us to post all over the Internet. I mean my cloupor Cana had better fit and finish and a screen that is centered in the unit. Hopefully my next post is me saying they exceeded my expectations and the flask looks and works great! I sure hope it does because I really do love it.

Good luck! I recommend not sending via USPS since you have to sent to a PO Box. Mine was delivered Saturday and has said ready to pick up for the last two days. I emailed Evolv twice since then trying to figure out if they picked it up or not. No response, so now I have no real idea where a $300 device I had for a week is, or when the hell I might get it back.

You're welcome, even though you may end up jumping me in the fix line. I finally got a response yesterday evening from Evolv:

We have not received it yet, but the mail is delayed because of the veterans day holiday. I expect it will arrive tomorrow, when it does I will notify you.

This is simply not true. I sent it two day priority last Thursday the 7th. According to the tracking number it has been available for pick up at the P.O. Box since Saturday. This is starting to piss me off. I don't appreciate being lied to, especially when I have to communicate via email where they only respond once a day. Anybody got a phone number for these guys?

This is exactly identical to my sutuation. I wrote back and reamed them and told them I was a very unhappy customer as the delay had nothing to do with the holiday as my Flask had been sitting at their PO Box since Saturday and that they just hadn't picked it up. I told them I thought this was very poor customer service.

Exactly! Don't list USPS and a P.O. Box as an option if you're never going to go to the damn box and pick up the items. Now even though our Flasks were there Saturday they will be behind every one that arrived via UPS on Monday or Today.

Aw geez! I packaged my bad VF this weekend and was going to ship it out to Evolv on Monday via USPS. I was sick so I never made it to the PO. Yesterday was Veteran's Day so I couldn't mail it then. I was thinking about mailing it today but with all of these comments I think I'll take it home, re-package it and take it to the UPS Store instead.
 
I just got a notice that my Flask was delivered. And I talked to Steve at Evolv. They only had a 1/2 dozen come in before today. They picked up 3 bins full from the PO today. He said it would probably be 5 to 7 days and they will most likely be putting new boards in the Flasks.

Cool, thanks for the update. I haven't had a chance to call yet. Did you happen to ask him why he lied to you?

No I didn't ask him that specifically. I just told him I was very upset that it had been sitting at the PO since Saturday. He said the problem turned out to be worse than they thought. They finally figured out they got a batch of bad PCB boards from their supplier. That's why they're going to end up replacing the boards. He said they are pretty overwhelmed trying to diagnose and get the problems straightened out.
