Kiwi,

Are they going to tell you what they find? I personally would like to know what is going on with the DNA40s.

"Glitchy boards from evolv."

The other issue I had was with my charging port hole, which they acknowledged was a manufacturing defect that shouldn't have passed QC

Btw....those little micro usb rubber plugs I bought work perfectly to seal the connection....I have them on the flask and the xpv right now...are they completely water tight? Probably not. Will they keep liquid out of the connection from an accidental spill? Probably so. Better than naked ports.

Glitchy - that doesn't exactly narrow down the real problem but it'll do. Yes - I saw the picture of your USB port what a work of art that was. That wouldn't have even made a good Prototype.

Glad yours will be out the door today - even if you are the coolest cucumber about what they sent you I have ever seen. I would have been so mad that I am sure I would have gotten suspended from ECF due to my descriptive language.

Tbh I don't expect the fellas at VF to know the details of the glitch. I kinda think of them being like "oh bad board. Get a new one from Evolv" haha

Soooo. If anyone is looking for a flask dna40 that's been checked by both evolv and VF, keep an eye out on the classies! I'll put it up completely untouched from the mail.

Has anybody had their RMA'd VF returned from Evolv yet?
Mine has been there since last Monday....
Well like stated before mine had to go to VF not evolv since it had other issues and the board needing replacement. All I have to say is WOW! They fixed every issue I had with my unit. could not be more perfect now. Only thing left is to test a nickel build tonight after I have a chance to build my new squape R that just came in the mail today also. Happy Times!!!

Glad you are happy, enjoy it. I am also waiting for a Squape R, join the Official Squape Thread and post some pics of your builds etc!

I purchased a 40 watt flask from vapinart.com today. Cannot wait to receive it. I hear the battery tolerance is tight, does anybody no if the 30 or 35 amp efest will fit, I know the 30 amps are smaller in diameter the 35. Happy to be apart of the flask family. Oh yeah they still have the gunmetal in stock, black and clear sold out in an hour

Fit or not to fit... Well Dave, the Efest 35 Amps fit BUT it is a tight fit. If the batteries have any labels on them make sure you take them off i.e. Security bar code thing. If you don't it will probably not fit and if you get it in you AIN'T getting it out.

Let me just say if they double Anodized your V.F. they probably won't fit, it is that close. I still use them but I am just waiting for the day they wont' come out. I take the brass plugs out and the have to bump the VG against my hand to create enough inertia to get them to pop out enough that I can grab them and pull and twist the rest of the way out.

I would love to know what others are using that give a little more space and don't come out like the cork in a wine bottle. ;)
