I'm not sure of your point here? That is what they charge as a business to make money / stay in business, some of that is cost of parts, some of that is R&D, some of that is manufacturing overhead, and some of that is profit. If you don't like the price, don't buy it, many others will.
They've always charge $300, I don't see why they would stop now all of a sudden.

The only other SX350J mods I've seen are the SX Mini M class (single battery) for $200, the Boxer (dual battery, 3D printed plastic) for $250, or custom DIY type boxes made by modders for $200-300. Honestly if this is around $300-330 the asking price isn't too bad, IMO.Jus personal opinion

dont get me wrong, vaporflask is a very sexy mod, if it was like $200 i'll pick it up in an heartbeat
right now there is three mods coming out from cloudmaker, the sx with the SX350J chip, the dna200, and the ares, all for $200 each, but hey if you got the money for the vaporflask, its a good choice too

Heh, yeah, wasn't counting them since its not on the market yet, I've got the DNA200 on pre-order.
Yeah, their site said September for the 350J one, that's a fair ways away, plus does anyone have any hands on time with an early unit? Do we know how the build quality is, or how they'll hold up?

Charlie was on Plumes the other night. It's going to be $299, and available on August 15. Parallel configuration. Stop complaining about price. If you think it's too much, don't buy one. The only reason the Vapor Shark Flask is less than $200 is because they are made in China. The original Flask, and the new SX350J version, is being made in the U.S.
My guess is that the SXK 60-Watt 'Vapor Flask' V3 (clone) that costs $63.33 using the 5% coupon from 3fvape is just as good as the $300 original that is made in the USA.

that may be going a bit too far but the SXK clones of the flask and the shark are pretty good. So I would say the $230 price differential at this point in time is too large but Im sure the USA authentic is better made!

According to Phil Busardo, the VaporFlask will be 269.99, available starting Aug. 15th at ECC, and does up to 100W using a custom sx350-VF chip.
