I received mine, for the quality:

1. nothing wrong with the screen

2. paint is great

3. the top and bottom plates are not aligned perfectly specially the top plate (by 1mm).

now to my issue with the software:

after the last update for TCR, could anyone tell me what number should I use with SS, I found the .00092, .00088, .00105 and others, I tried all of them with the crown tank and with my own build on crius rta with UD 316 24g wire, both of them with all the different numbers. the answer is one (Dry Coil, No liquid).

any ideas??

Lock in the correct resistance = End of Dry Coil, No Liquid message?

Tried to do that, I noticed that the resistant is not like the OHM meter reads it by a big margin but since it is my first 350j bored I told my self maybe it is deferent. Now the boom comes my flask won't read any atomizer I put on it, it just keeps saying (check atomizer) I redid the update and nothing, changed the batteries and nothing, keept it for an hour without batteries ( to erase the memory) and still nothing, so now I sent an email to vape forward. The game of waiting starts now

I have one from the original run, and two from after they claimed all the issues were fixed.

The original run has no issues, alignment is perfect.

The other two however: the caps are misaligned, and the "Flaskman" edition is giving me the check atomizer message after being used for less than a day. Resistance jumped from .5 to 1.5, resulting in a massive dry hit before displaying "check atomizer". Made sure it wasn't just the atomizer itself, I threw it on another box. No issues.

Waiting for a reply from VF, since Preston has requested all additional CS requests be submitted through the normal VF CS channels.

Sounds like its a good thing I haven't updated. YiHi forums showed a lot of folks having issues with new update releases for other devices.
Still sucks that it is limited to PCs and updating firmware is not compatible with Macs. I'm sure there's a go around but nobody's posted anything about it. I guess I wouldn't update even if I could, it would just be nice if I had the damn option with a Mac.

V43L1N, my SX was from the original run too & I know a number of folks (myself included) had issues with them at first. There's a pretty easy fix to do it yourself, or you could send it in and potentially be without it for awhile (which doesn't sound like it would be a problem with your fleet of them, lol).
The fix is to unscrew the top cap, tighten the 510 nut, also make sure the lower portion of the 510 where the wire is soldered is tight (this is tightened by twisting the whole top-cap while holding the solder point/wire firm until snug), and the last thing is to make sure excess solder from this wire isn't interfering with connectivity (possibly the #1 issue). Again, in the top-cap, the wire is soldered to a pin which fits inside of another brass bushing. Push the bushing up revealing the pin the wire is soldered to and simply scrape off any excess solder. Then put it all back together. Start to finish its a 5-10 minutes job. After doing this I haven't had another issue whatsoever & I've been using mine all day every day 10-15ml/day! It might sound daunting but I assure you its really simple.

I got a replacement sx flask in and it was worse than my original which was already from a second batch of flasks. The replacement had worse alignment and a crushed in USB port and a crooked screen. Also one of the battery caps barely will come out. Contacted Preston again and he said there updating the replacement process.

Will say he had my replacement shipped within 2 days and it came in a box to ship my original back. Not in waiting on a second replacement and my original which used to work now doesn't due to the resistance being unstable.

Thank you NJ! I'm waiting for CS to respond on whether or not I can try this fix myself without voiding my warranty.

I'm interested to know - are the Flask SX's being sent in for repair to VF or Vapor Shark?

I've had the not-so-unexpected misfortune of having to RMA both of my v2.1s within a week of receiving them (with no issues after getting them back so I'm happy). The first went to VF and service was sssslllooowwww with poor communication.

The second was sent to Vapor Shark and I found the service both incredibly fast and much more in-line with what I would expect after dropping this kind of money on a mod

Finally I got a replay from them, and it goes like this: "We are setting up an RMA system that should be ready to go by next Tuesday. It will allow us to send out shipping labels and everything. Can you email me back Monday and we can go about getting you registered in our system. sorry for the delay but we were getting overwhelmed by service requests with Vapor shark stopping repairs and we need to get a system in place. It took a little longer than we would have liked but we are about there. send me your address and phone number on Monday and I’ll get you taken care of".
