Paric (and many others in this thread),

Thanks for all the great info. I pretty much decided a couple of days ago to try an e-cig. This thread convinced me of which one to buy, and I ordered my VK today. I have some hope that this will allow me to quit (or at least drastically reduce) my heavy habit of real cigs. Thank you!

Lucky you to get the best right off the bat! I had to go through 2 so so ecigs to find the one I love! I really think you will love it! Be sure to stop by the V4L forum here and let us know what you think! ;)

THe Vapor King is only a KR808D in bare essence, as same thread patern. Steve works directly with his suppliers constantly and has them modified to his express specifications. He makes sure we have the best wiring & electronics availible. They then undergo rigorus testing before he will even think to sell them! If you were to compaire the VK and a KR808D side by side you would notice a difference. THe VK also has one of the best warenties availible.
Not trying to say Steves is better just to say it is, many people have compaired them and agree it is not the same thing.

I agree! And I think right now Steve is the only one with the manual batteries, as well as the extra long manual batteries! He really stays on top of things! Not only that, but the goodies he sends are outrageous! I nearly flipped when I saw an extra long battery in with my order! Not to mention the tasty sample carts and liquids he tosses in, and when he first got the manual passthrough in, he threw that in an order! No, I am loyal to V4L and don't think anyone else gives the customer service he gives and the guarantee if something goes wrong! ;) Believe me, he gives more then he takes - I don't know how he does it, but I am glad he does!

The KR808's are ALL made by the same manufacturer and in the same place.. and so are the carts!!! I have asked 2 different vendors here and I got an answer right away.. they are the same they say.
I have asked numerous times for Steve or anyone from vapor 4 life to please show me the difference..(not on xtra long that is obvoius!) what is it that no other vendor here has except for the logo? They all talk to the same people. Unless he is filing with his own juice they are the same. I keep getting ignored in his forum when I asked 2 times? I was thinking of getting some to see for myself but why would I unless someone answers me on how they are different? I am also very confused on how he can get 36mg when NO one else can and the factory stopped making 36 and no longer allowed to sell them? ANYONE have an answer??? Please...

First I want to say, that I did not believe Cimyss, when they said Steve more or less invented his Vapor King. I knew they all came from the same manufacture... that is a given... HA! Other places sell the KR808, and they are all the same device. Sometimes a website will brand it with their on logo or label ... they have the potential to do this, legally.

As for the 36 mg, I have seen on several websites, that they will no longer sell the 36 mg, when they run out. So those who have the 36 mg, are just using up their old stock.

Hope this helps!

Happy Vaporing! ;)

Does that apply to the carts as well? I was considering trying out the KR808D, but I read that they have issues with the filler material burning after x amount of puffs, and that scared me off. Any VK users having a problem with this?

They do burn.. all kr808 carts eventually.. they are supposed to be disposable. You can get about 8 refills off of them. The green cig carts are more expensive but WILL NOT burn as the kr808 carts and you will be able to get MANY more refills from them. They have different fibers inside and carts just last longer.

First of all, if that is true, how is it that Steve has managed to get NEW flavors not ever available from other vendors and in the 36mg strength? He has just added Pina Colada, Coconut, Bud, Cognac, Margarita, Peach Cobbler, and Lychee, as well as a new tobacco take off of Kent. All available (as I am writing this) in 36.

He also has the extra long manual batteries which if available elsewhere, I haven't seen. These things kind of show that Steve stays on top of production and is in contact with the manufacturers doesn't it?

I don't ask anyone to blindly belive me or my beliefs. My opinion is only my opnion. There is no way I can state a fact without being directly involved, which I am not. The only thing I can do is tell you what I do know and how I know it.
The statement I made about the VK not being a KR808d-1 comes from statements from Steve Himself to many others that I have read and are backed up in my own mind by 2 things.
First I'll quote some of the statements and give the links so you can read others commments on them as well as just what Steve is saying. And then I will tell you why I belive it to be true. From there I encourage everyone to make their own decisions.

Actually they are Not the same, and yes, if you like you can compare, side to side

I work with the factory directly, and make modifications on each shipment. From batteries, to cartomizers, to passthru's, to liquid, to everything. I spend over 30 hours a week talking to the factory, just like I am right now

Thank you

Steve

I have been working on manuf. cartomizers here for the last few months, costs in USA are HIGH, but, hope to make it happen, if FDA goes well

Nah, no second job, cause I kept it CHEAP, 18 bucks, prolly the best deal in all of vaping.

They even made the wire better, like I wanted
What I was not sure about, was, how damn good it was gonna be

Thank you

You are welcome, and to answer your question, 20ml should be in next week. I am working with manuf, for the 30ml, due to some cap issues.

We are looking at designing 2 peice, with seperate dropper, in box. Will take a little bit, but, will be well worth the wait. We are updating flavors daily, and they are pretty good, pretty, pretty darn good

And many other statements he has made If you want to see more click his name go to statistics and read his posts yourself.
The second thing I said I would do is explain why I belive it is true
1 I have no reason to believe he would lie.Steve treats all of us so good! His fair prices, outstanding warenty, outrageously great customer service, alone would sell this his product so he simply doesn't need to lie.
2 Other people's comments that have compaired the VK to a KR808D-1 and agree it is different. You should see one or two in the links above.

Sorry for the long post Anyhows this is where I got my information from.

Need vapor I don't think you are being ignored. I think Steve is simply busy due to the fact that his partner has been in the hospital and he is having to do double the work. Also our forum section is rather busy so I am sure if you bump your post up to the top you will get an answer pretty soon. Also It might help if it was it's own subject instead of in the middle of a different one with 3 pages of replies.

Carts are disposable, so they can only be refilled 2 or 3 times, before they begin to taste burnt. Do not let your cart get empty, or that too will cause a burnt taste. When you refill a cart, let it sit for awhile, so the filtes inside can get good and wet.

All of the carts, including the KR808 cartomizers are the same way.

Happy Vappering! ;)

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying your VK (and similar models). I don't have one, but reading all JenJen's posts are making me want to try them. :D

(I have a 510 now)

I'm not in the e-cig business but I do sell a custom network appliance (very small computer). The manufacturer in Taiwan is quite flexible and willing to make changes even though I am running a small business. These machines cost about $450 each. My supplier would make a lot of changes for an order of 50 pieces. ($25,000) I would have thought that small potatoes.

I don't know anything about V4L but I'm inclined to take him at his word regarding custom changes. The more volume he deals in the more changes he'll be able to make.

The manufacturer will also take his changes as free product testing and R&D. This will make their generic product better in the long run.

I don't mind paying a few dollars more if I get more in return. Customer service, or lack of it, could really cut into your savings. What if a $10 part is defective and the supplier won't take it back? You'd be upset and didn't save any money in the long haul.

Overall, I'm impressed with the state side vendors. While they lack the sophistication of Amazon.com, they do provide personal service at reasonable prices. I also believe they are more interested in helping people escape cigarettes than making a quick buck.

Keep posting and let us know how it goes with your VK guys.

Thanks goony! And if you do eventually give the VK a try, I have a feeling you will be a true believer! The manual extra long is AWESOME! ;)

As for the price being a little more, that may well be, but if something goes wrong, I know it will be replaced with no hassle! And quite honestly, the extras he throws in to orders is outrageous! Not just extra cartos and juice, people actually get passthroughs, and extra long batteries tossed in. Steve has even called or emailed to make sure an order is just right. I don't know, I just love doing business with someone who goes the extra step.

There is a reason the people over in the V4L forum are so pleased! ;)

Jen,

Your sig banner is misleading to say the least. We all know that you will never "break even"! You'll be happy and healthy... but you'll NEVER break even!! ;-)

Hehehe! That total included all the penstyle and 510 stuff as well. Doesn't include the stuff I bought as gifts for my family and friends though. And actually - I have enough cartos to last until then, so I really WILL break even then! (God willing!) :D

Hey, I would pay twice what I paid for cigs to be smoke free so painlessly!

Rob, at VaporKings is also selling the KR808-1

I love his kits, because you get two of everything for the price of one. Might give him a try too. ;)

I knew vaping was4me but I was lost in the sea of e-cig products and then I read a review by PARIC about Vapor King and Vapor4Life and I figured what the heck, gotta try ONE of em. I ordered on a Thurs. night, my order was shipped the next day, and I received it in 2 days. Cool! I bought the Ult. kit and they threw in a few bonus carts and liquids. Everything was ready2go and I am very satisfied, the flavors are tasty and the draw is great. Goodbye Marlboros, hello VK! Nothing smells better than an unlit analog. I used to wish I could enjoy that flavor without the harsh smoke. Now I can, and plenty of others as well. Havin a drag-o-coffee right now. Kudos2Steve and the V4L staff, my introduction2e-cigs was real smooth (pun intended)

Just ordered for the first time from VK. Spoke to Rob on the phone and put the order in shortly after for my starter kit. I had purchased the 901 with extra menthol carts(being i smoke menthol and not regular). Very friendly and pointed me in the right direction for what im looking for. Hopefully i can use this product to my advantage and quit the analog once and for all!!! I am new to the scene but read some good reviews about VaporKings. Thanks again Rob!

Keon,

You may not realize this.. but a 901 from VaporKings isn't the same as a VaporKing from Vapor4Life.

It's a bit confusing.. I know.

Yeah that is a bit confusing. Steve owns Vapor4Life and sells the vaporking or VK and Rob Owns the Vaporkings site and sells 901's and I believe now sells the KR808D-1 as well. One has an S in the site name and one has the product named that without the S at the end. Both from what I have read seem to be very nice fellows. I can't attest to product differences as I have only ever used the VK from vapor4life, but I am sure there are many out there that can give more details on Vaporkings and thier products.

My wife was getting frustrated with the 510 (battery life mainly) so I just ordered her a "Ultimate Ultimatum Vapor King with Portable Charging Case-PCC, USB Battery Pass Thru, Carry Case, et, et..." from V4L based on the reviews here. Of course she wanted everything in pink but I got the green manual batteries just case. If she likes it I'll get the 380 mah extra long batteries next week. I doubt they'll fit in the pcc though.
