My wife was getting frustrated with the 510 (battery life mainly) so I just ordered her a "Ultimate Ultimatum Vapor King with Portable Charging Case-PCC, USB Battery Pass Thru, Carry Case, et, et..." from V4L based on the reviews here. Of course she wanted everything in pink but I got the green manual batteries just case. If she likes it I'll get the 380 mah extra long batteries next week. I doubt they'll fit in the pcc though.

If her only complaint with the 510 is/was battery life, then you can always get the longer 510 batteries from TW. They will give you about double the vaping time as the standard.

Of course... they won't fit in the standard (unmodified) 510 PCC.

Yukon Bob if your wife really likes the pink you can post on the V4L forums or Shoot Steve an email and he might exchange one of the manual pink batteries for the the green, unfortunately I believe the only automatic batteries availible atm are the green, but If she is that partial to pink it wouldn't hurt to try before your package ships :)

Thanks, I believe that the pink manuals are available. I had to at least get batteries that were NOT pink just in case she wasn't happy with the Vapor King so I wouldn't look too fruity if I used them instead. Although, the apple/lime (?) green ones are bad enough! I'd just have to leave the pink pcc at home.:D

I have to admit, the green is my least favorite color lol! :p

I like the platinum, white, and black batts best myself. I have a few in pink regular size and they are really pretty though... I just find myself grabbing the extra longs most of the time! Love those babies!

Well the VK just arrived today and boy is she happy! He sent a few samples and I am using a 555 cartomizer on the pass-through. My wife likes the fruit flavors so I got her some grape, pina colada, and peach cobbler. We are both just blown away by how good the flavor is. I have a Janty Stick with the 801 atty (and a couple other types) and a ton of 510s and none of them can compare to the flavor and throat hit I get from this VK. It's just what I have been craving from this whole vaping thing. I now know that I have been missing out for the past few months since I started. If I was hesitant to dive in and get the cartomizers because of the cost; I'm not any more. Now I am ordering a kit for myself.

Is any of the V4L stuff compatible with the 510? I'd like to try a VK but don't really want yet another PCC and charger.

I've seen people use 510 batteries with cartomizers but that seems backwards to me. The battery is the bad part of a 510.

Yes they are but I would love to find a 510 battery-VK cart adapter so I don't waste all the 510 batteries I currently own which is about 20.:(

Glad you found what you were looking for with the VK! I actually started PMing people on the New Members forum who seemed to like the 510, but also seemed to be a bit short on supplies and offered to send them some of my old 510 stuff. Like you I had a ton, and it felt good to have it go to some good use.

After the VK, I could never go back to the 510! lol It really is extraordinary! And Steve is the best! Welcome to the happy group! ;)

I have to chime in about the VaporKing from Vapor4Life also! For ease of use and performance, there is no comparison! And Steve is the bomb, always tossing in little goodies to make us smile!

If you are curious about what people are saying, take a look at the V4L forum here "....."
and see what all the shout is about. My penstyle and 510 are gathering dust while I vape away happily on my VK!

Whoo Hooo! ;)

My 1st e-cig was e-cighawaii based on amazon.com reviews (what a joke!). Then Green Smoke and Bloog-neither one made me smile. But V4L VK did! Cappuccino is the bomb! A word of caution though: vape responsibly. It tastes soooo good that I couldn't stop vaping. 1st night after getting my VK I had vivid dreams probably because of nicotine OD (not to mention it gets expensive if you don't discipline your self). The only problem I have so far is an automatic USB pass-through. It startet cutting out too soon (like 2 sec at the most), but I'm sure Steve will take care of this.:evil::evil:

THe Vapor King is only a KR808D in bare essence, as same thread patern. Steve works directly with his suppliers constantly and has them modified to his express specifications. He makes sure we have the best wiring & electronics availible. They then undergo rigorus testing before he will even think to sell them! If you were to compaire the VK and a KR808D side by side you would notice a difference. THe VK also has one of the best warenties availible.
Not trying to say Steves is better just to say it is, many people have compaired them and agree it is not the same thing.

Wow... I just read this and I thought this is so misleading to newbies!

I have both the VK and KR808D and they sure do look identical to me. I also have other brands of the KR808D and there is absolutely NO difference, except in price.

He has the wiring modified??? WOW...

ATTENTION NEWBIES: Please do more research and please do not spend your money based on this thread alone.

Thank goodness someone else spoke up, and said the truth! Yes, there is absolutely no difference in the Vapor King vs the KR808D. I have spokem with many people who have both, including someone who sells the KR808D, as he ordered the Vapor King to see for himself, and there no difference in the wire part. Steve is blowing his own horn, just to get customers! Yes, he might of spoke with the manufacture, but in reality, he would have to pay for the modifications himself, then put his name on it and copyright that mod. The manufacture is not going to change their molds, just for one customer. They may take Steves ideas, and change the entire batch, then claim it as their own copyright. Really people, think about this before you purchase something high price, that has no proof behind it.

Please do you own research before you believe a bunch of hot air talk!

I too am shaking my head in disbelief. HA! Some people will believe anything. HA!

Not trying to Burst anyones bubble here but...

The KR808's are ALL made by the same manufacturer and in the same place.. and so are the carts!!! I have asked 2 different vendors here and I got an answer right away.. they are the same they say.
I have asked numerous times for Steve or anyone from vapor 4 life to please show me the difference..(not on xtra long that is obvoius!) what is it that no other vendor here has except for the logo? They all talk to the same people. Unless he is filing with his own juice they are the same. I keep getting ignored in his forum when I asked 2 times? I was thinking of getting some to see for myself but why would I unless someone answers me on how they are different? I am also very confused on how he can get 36mg when NO one else can and the factory stopped making 36 and no longer allowed to sell them? ANYONE have an answer??? Please...

Amazingly inaccurate, although it is precicely what I would expect other vendors to say..it certainly behooves them for people to think that all KR808d-1 cartomizers are the same. Line them up side by side and test it yourself. It doesn't cost too much to prove to yourself that this statement is in error, ive been there and done that already.

Grab a V4L menthol, and line it up next to a blister pack cheapie menthol and see if they match flavor wise...you'll get a surprise. In fact, several of his flavors are *clearly* different in a side by side comparison.

I'm still trying to find cartomizers with the same flavor as V4L cheaper..and so far, I've failed every time..at least with the flavors I like.

Insofar as how it's possible for him to get them in 36? simple! as stated over and over...he doesnt buy the generic blister-pack cartos that many other sites sell...THESE ARE ALL THE SAME! He has his made to order, filled with what he wishes them to be filled with and Logo'd accordingly. It's the same reason he offers flavors not available in other, blister packed, brands.

Being able to type does not necessarily make one right. The best and easiest way to work things like this out is to try it yourself like I and many others have. Never blindly believe what ANY manufacturer tells you when the ability exists to test it for yourself..

Is there any difference between the carts that come in a foil blister pack and those that i've seen in a white box?

I've tried both, I couldn't really tell much of a difference between the generic foil blisterpack and the generic white box. Major difference in most flavors between V4L's and the generics though.

There's a difference between "looking" identical, and *being* identical. Have you compared flavors of carts from V4L and other manufacturers? I mean I realize you cant compare 36 cause no one else has their carts filled with that..but compare 24mg or other strengths side by side...say pina colada, or maybe Bud flavors...perhaps Almond Joy, Peach cobbler or Cognac flavors? compare those to the competitions blister packed cartos?

In all seriousness, all flavors aren't created equal, and a nice lineup comparison would resolve this immediately.

As far as "the wiring" goes...yeah in some cases it *is* different...Steve makes the determination on how long the cutoff is, as an example. Did you forget that requires internal circuitry changes? LOL! oops :D

Example:
http://store.vapor4life.com/product_p/vk-battery-xl.htm the Extra long uberbattery...no way that has the same battery inside...find that somewhere else? anyone?
Example 2:
http://store.vapor4life.com/product_p/vk-battery-manualv2.htm new 10 second manual battery...this extension of the cutoff timer requires circuitry changes to accomplish...*proof* of the "modified wiring" although I might not have called it that...more of a "internal circuitry" modification...but I think the point was valid...find that somewhere else...Anyone?

*Crickets chirp*

Your mom said not to say...
Welcome to the wonderful world of badging and the confusion that sets in among customers looking for a cartomizer but can't make up their mind between a KR808D-1, and a VK from V4L! Hint, they are the same frigging thing!!!! Throw in the people that bought a VaporKing kit from VaporKing but it's a 510 VaporKing kit or something and all hell breaks loose! It is what it is, you can't force someone to change their name or whatever but it really does add to the already confusing world of E-Cigs to the noob coming in looking around. That is perhaps my biggest pet peeve at the moment in the world of E-Cigs. I can't tell you how many post I see from people asking which one is the better deal!

As for the carts being the same, they are. They are filled at the same factory so there is no difference in the liquid or the carts, they are all made the same the only difference is the shift they were made on. This had been the subject of many many threads in the suppliers forums as well. Take a look around and you will see it. The only carts that have different juice from the standard juice that is filled in the factory will be GreenCig which will soon be filling their carts with Drew's juice from Nhaler.com from what I understand he just sent them a few litres of juice to work with at their factory which is great news for those of us that love it. I can't understand why there is still so much confusion over where the carts are filled at, this has been discussed to death.

Yes, when you shop for cars, do you ask the competition if their dodge neon is exactly the same as a caddy...and when they say yes, you believe them? lol. look up one post for several examples of how wrong this is.
Physically..baised on looks alone, I can see one comming to this conclusion. But does the competition have an extra long battery? do they have a manual battery with a 10 second cutoff? have you tried the flavors side by side? Blindly believing anything, either posted here or from other manufacturers...hell from *ANY* manufacturer without trying it yourself is putting a lot of trust in people who are trying to sell you something. It doesn't take a month worth of research to discover that the Vapor King does in fact have differences and that those differences were requested modifications made by the store owner to the manufacturer and that those changes were implimented. That includes batteries and cartomizers. I think the chargers are all the same though..and probably the PCCs. So it's ok to get generic versions of those lol.
