Thank you for the replies. I smoke Marlboro Reds so I know a lot of people who feel they are harsh compared to what they smoke. I was just a little worried after watching some of the video reviews where some of the reviewers where darn near choking and their eyes were watering but calling it a "good" throat hit. That I don't want. So I wouldn't get that from a VK or any other KR808?

The throat hit's good, but not choke-til-you-cry good. Maybe it's just me, as I've inhaled far harsher stuff back in the day :p

The only time I've ever had almost-incapacitating throat hit was when I was a total noob and didn't blow out the primer fluid in my attys

Your mom said not to say...
The cartomizers like the KR808D-1, or the Red Dragon, or GreenCig are well known for their taste and warm vapor along with the decent but not overly harsh throat hit. I don't think you will be disappointed in a cartomizer. I looked at them when I was first getting into this and wish I had bought my GreenCig kit first or at least the KR808D-1 first instead of the couple of 3pc models and a mod for them. I didn't believe the claims of a cart lasting a day but I know better now, and they do!

I am new here, and to the forum. I purchased that npro njoy at a local gas station, and have learned enough to know that it’s cheaper to use the juice. I don’t think my unit works right.. I have a lot of people who are interested in switching over. I was thinking of hosting a vape party! lol.. but My unit just doesn’t work well. It seems like there is very little smoke, and the batteries are always dead. What is up? Is there a better model out there to use? I am thinking that a manual one would be better. I have heard people talk about those?? please help a girl out!

My dilemma with KR-808d-1 Carts... Please help:

I recently purchased a manual 902 kit with cartomizers from CigEasy and gave it a go. The vapor production is poor at best and the cartomizer doesn't even screw on all the way! I have tried three different carts: Two produce poor vapor and the other one (vanilla/low strength, from Premium ECigs) produces none at all! (Probably because it doesn’t have the little notch carved out on the battery side of the cart.) I know each cart is getting power because I can hear the atomizer crackling when the button is depressed. It takes a very strong draw to get anything out of it.

Now for the questions:

1) What am I doing wrong? I checked on all the forums and watched a video review of this product. All of which confirm that everyone else gets more vapor than I do. Hell, even my crappy "Smoking Everywhere" Gold produces more vapor...

2) Every photo of these batt's shows the cartomizer screwing on fully, with the four little "holes" touching the metal part of the battery. Why doesn't mine? Are these defective?

If there is a better battery out there that will make these cart's perform better, please let me know. I have a feeling that these 902 manual battery's are creating a "frankenstein" effect and are killing my e-smoke experience...

Help!

I'm new to vaping and this forum. This seemed like the spot to put my first post under VK review. Besides, I can't start a new thread yet :p

I just got my first, the Vapor King Ultamate package. Basically 3 batteries and a usb passover. (A few other goodies as well) So far I like the manual best. The auto draws pull to much air for my taste.

Cartomizers: Cowboy or Mlbro, Chocolate and a free perk of a few Parliaments.

Chocolate tastes awesome, but smokes poorly.

Mlbro tastes similar to an actual Marlboro, granted chemically "duplicating" the taste would nearly impossible. I enjoy this one. (Take in the fact ive only tasted 3)

Parliament
I love. This thing smokes great, good (as you guys call it..) throat hit, and very tasty flavor. It's like a bit of tobacco with burnt sugar. My favorite so far......
HOWEVER: every one they sent me leaked like crazy :( I did not have this problem with any of the other 10 cartomizers. I'm pretty disappointed. Not that I can really complain, they were free. But I wont be buying anymore of them, even knowing there easily my favorite so far.

Vapor King Itself
: I can't seem to replicate the "amount" of vapor i've seen others produce on videos, I was hoping to get a better mimic of analog smoking, but it's passable. I've defiantly reduced the number of analog smokes using it. Thats at least some amount less tar in my lungs. The water vapor also seems to help coughing up "gunk" the analogs left.....Yeah that was gross, but any smoker knows the deal. The usb passover is like....discovering sliced bread. I love the thing. It defiantly smokes better than any of the batteries.

TOP POINT
: I can smoke it in my house, on the couch, with my wife and not hear any (CENSORED)ing

I have 2 autos and a manual along with the USB Passthrough. I don't get near the smoke as I see on the video except with the USB Passthrough. I've tried the juice and this helped a lot. I must have the worst luck as both the autos don't work anymore unless you blow into them first to get the vape going, then it'll stay on for the 5 seconds and time itself out. The manual works fine. The USB used to work great but now it's extremely intermittent.

Overall, the package arrived with great packaging with a few extras, awesome! Hopefully I'll master the care and cleaning of these and will be able to fully enjoy them.

All in all, I think these are pretty cool, but maybe I need to learn how to clean or take better care of them to realise there full potential.

just wondering if the GC u refer to is the green-cig?
if so, that is not the same atty as the M401 is it?

I knew there was something about you that I liked....We did the same thing but backwards I guess. I went from 3pc to 2pc and you started with a 2pc and tried the 3pc. It's not that I mind the 3pc units, I love the taste my Dragon gives and the hit is nice as well. I used that to initially quit smoking. I then saw all the hype over the 510 and of course my feelings on those are well known if you ever read a post from me about it. I then got a magnum mod for the 510 which is nice, but it is still a 510. After that it was the KR then the GC and the GC is by far my favorite. I only had a working KR for a day and I did like it, I would still have it if I didn't get either 2 bad batteries in a row or one bad battery and one bad PCC, I don't know but I switched to the GC at that point and have not looked back.

My first ecig was the 2 piece Greencig (not to be confused with greensmoke). It did not work for me at all. Was like trying to suck a watermelon through a straw. Actually made me crave analogues even more.

Next was the 3 piece M601/602. It has gotten me off analogues - today is actually 1 month analogue free - YAY me!!!. However, I am so sick of all the work in mantaining it. Constantly refilling juice and batteries malfunctioning. Such a hassle.

So now I want to try the Vapor King. My main question is how is the pull?

The vapor king is great.
If you don't mind a little more expense by not refilling then u can't beat it.

It's basically "plug and play". The carts last A LOT longer than the cartridges u fill for a 901 or 510 also.

I highly recommend you go to Vapor4Life.com for them. They are great to deal with!!

you know what...here I am ready to buy Vaper King from vapor4life.com but would like for them to help me out with the ordering process so I email them to provide me a number to call to assist me with it...no response. i email them again 3 days later...i get an email from Valerie who says her response got lost in junk mail - LIE - nothing in junk mail. Lol, and she didnt even reiterate her "response". I email again, please have someone call me or email to help me with my order. Says she will forward my message to the "order guys"...2 days later...no response...

So much for all the talk about their great customer service and "steve is great, blah blah blah" - I have never encountered worse customer service in my life. You would think that they would jump at the chance to gain a new customer, especially because they would HAVE to become a repeat customer! You would think that customer support would be solid because not everyone understands a fairly new and complex (to noobs) product. Obviously they can care less and hire ...... to follow up with customers.

Basically, if vapor4life.com is the only place to get vapor king, I guess I will not buy the product. I would never want to deal with them after this, especially if I will have to continuously reorder from them going forward. I will now look for a different brand...possibly Blu or Greencig

I gotta say, for anyone thining about a vapor king, I highly reccomend it! I smoked a pack of analogs a day and really enjoyed smoking. However I always wished there was a safe way to do it..I work around mostly smokers all day and quitting cold turkey wasn't an option.. Also I just didn't see a pAtch or gum getting the job done..I was mostly addicted to the act of smoking and the feel and taste of the smoke.. A few months ago I heard about ecigs but didn't really know what to think about them..I wasn't sure if the flavor and throat hit would be sufficient to satisfy my needs. That's when I met someone who was smoking an ecig ( not sure what brand) and they let me try it. I immedietly knew I had found something that might just do the trick. Soon after I went online and started looking at different brands and settled on the vaporking..that's was 3 weeks ago and I've had one analog since and it was simply an experiment to see how it tasted after nearly a month and I gotta say, it was terrible..I smoked mabey half and threw it away.. The vapor king tastes GREAT, the battery lasts me all day and the throat hit is MORE than enough to get the job done! Hell, my first big drag of a 36mg menthol cartomizer nearly knocked me out of the chair lol. This thing is a godsend and I've got over half of the people I work with buying them! Steve is great and ALWAYS does his part and then some on the customer service end of things..I'm extremely happy vapor king and don't plan on switching..a few people I work with went with other companies and are starting to regret it..they're flavors aren't as good they charge their batteries twice a day while I keep puffing away at my vaporking! Hope this helps anyone whose straddling the fence on what brand to buy.. vapor4life!

also wanted to mention this would be my first ecig....what a bad experience

V4Ls are kr808's, same as you can get in a bunch of places, they just have the factory put their own stickers on the carts. AltSmoke, PureSmoker, Nhaler, and CigEasy are all good vendors, with great customer service.

So I'm a little confused on some of the stuff I've read. Is there any difference in the various KR8 batteries from each vendor? I seem to recall reading that the pull was better on some than others. Or maybe I'm thinking of the green smoke carts. Man, I read so much today my brain is overloaded.

Anyway, I'm planning on getting a KR8 and was leaning towards the KV due to all the great feedback on customer support, which is very important to me. However, I can't seem to get past the asthetic look of the KV. I don't care for the finish and the excessive branding. I really like the matte finish of the black PS Ace, but haven't seen much in the way of any info/reviews on it, and everyone raves about the KVs.

Anyway, is there any performance difference between the various KR8 battery vendors, or does it come down more to the quality of the cart that you attach? FYI, I'm leaning more toward a manual battery.

I don’t know if you have looked at the V4L batteries recently, but they are carrying single logo batteries now. I have both multi logo & single logo and honestly using both the multi logo doesn't bother me. I cant comment about other KR808d-1 models as I have only used the V4L. I have both manual and auto batts and I definitely like the manuals better. The autos work fine and I haven’t seen one go off randomly like other e-cig autos do, but I like to have control over my vaping. I guess I have control issues lol.

This is not true anymore. I am almost positive that there new batteries and new cartomizers are different from the original kr808.
