Most vendors (to the best of my knowledge) always anticipate much interest esp. when it's a hot item on sale. Now their hosting server is another matter.....

lol yes rebuildables. As you lower the resistance you can increase the wattage to get a bigger cloud. Doesn't mean it's a better vaping experience, just means you can blow big clouds. I do it for fun occasionally at 75 watts, but it is hard on the throat. With this dna40 I think I will get close to the same vapor production without the harmful effects of the heat or dry hits. Most would like to blow clouds without giving up flavor or hurting their throats. This unit with it's temperature protection will let you be able to do that.

Are you sure you quoted the correct post?

Pls forgive my ignorance, but even going above 10W is too much for me - coughing etc (and I been vaping for 2 years). When you say vaping at 22w you're talking about with rebuildables right? Do rebuildables basically give you equivalent hit at high wattage of normal attys at low wattage? Or have you guys got throats like chimneys :)

There is a combination of things aside from power that go into the taste, vapor production, warmth and harshness/smoothness of a vape. Different combinations of wicking capacity, wire size, coil size, coil atty chamber size, amount of airflow and juice PG/VG ratio are ones that come to mind.

Some build combinations may produce a harsh vape at 10 watts while others can produce a smooth one at 40 watts. When manufactured heads made with wire that works with temperature protection become available you will have even more control over the type of vape you can achieve with a particular build.

If you wish to stick with pre-made coils rather than building your own you will probably find that the Aspire Nautilus tank will give you a nice vape somewhere in the range of 8—15+ watts and the new Aspire Atlantis tank will go 20—30+ watts. That said, you may well find that you prefer the vape you get from your current atties.

Aspire and Kanger are supposed to be manufacturing coils that will work with temperature protection but no definite word on what types of tanks they will fit. Vapor Shark pictured a BVC temperature sensing coil that they are having manufactured exclusively for them that will fit a Nautilus. So far, no ETA on when any of these coils might hit the market.

The blinking resistance usually means "too low wattage" setting for the resistance of your build. Unless something changed with the DNA 40, Evolv chips do not step down voltage output. The blinking is indication that you need to increase your wattage setting. The device will fire however, it will do so at a higher voltage then what is set on the screen.

I actually received the Vaporshark rDNA on Friday, but I haven't started using it yet. The above comes from DNA 30 chip knowledge.
glad you got your rDNA Nik, you're going to love it! when i'm at home its the only device I use :) floating 510 = bonus, and it fires straight out of sleep, another big plus :)

are you guys using any wrap from jwraps or vapor skinz? what's the result?
I use the shark skins.
Pretty sure ill get corrected or cotradicted on this too; since im 2 for 2 today. Hey its ecf, the only place where 2 + 2= 20.
It just adds a tactile feel and layer of protection on the outside. Its like a silcon phones skin.

what it is!?

You will be in a lengthy wait even after they ship.

I see now that they are saying up to 15 days to ship which is fine as my Atlantis tank will not likely arrive anytime soon. Once the VS ships, I assume that I will receive it in four days or so. Should I expect it to take longer?

USPS seems to have a black hole around Miami. It can take a day or two longer than normal.
My order gets hung up at the airport there. Im in Louisiana and a buddy of mine lives in Pennsylvania.
His order left VS a day after mine did; but he got his the day before i got mine.

The Miami post office has some very peculiar notions about tracking. My initial rDNA40 had a shipping label mistakenly printed for it. Despite the fact that Vapor Shark had not even received their rDNA40s yet, the post office tracking showed that my order had been picked up and that my package had departed Miami. :(

Despite the mistake Vapor Shark shipped my rDNA40 to me when they first arrived but this is what the "just kidding" tracking from October still looks like today::confused:

Lmao!
Laughing with you not at you.
Not shocked though; ive seen especially peculiar tracking issues with usps; to the point that i have anxiety whenever i send anything. Im just to lazy to drive to ups. Lol

I would have beem screaming at usps at the top of my lungs! !!!
Begs the question though what did they ship? And where is it?
what it is!?

This is funny but not funny waiting on a shipment that's not coming.
The other way to see this is VS picked up the labels from the PO they had printed but it didn't get updated (departed) until later.
