Just got the vsda30. I work for a cell provider so I always have access to chargers and it was all wifey allowed me to get lol.
Hahaha!!!!!! Thats a good wifey!
She could have told you to get an eleaf and thats it, lol
For while i used was a provari for my RTA and the VSDNA30 for a dripper. Slowly turned into the vsdna30 and a mech. Then just the vsdna30. I would get almost 4 hours of heavy vaping at 22w on just the battery. But that little lipo doesn't take long to charge at all. And the form factor is amazing.
Congrats on the new mod btw!
-and good luck finding a nice xmas present for the wife lmao!

Lmao. Thanks! She is good and I have something special for her lol. I would love to have a Provari in my arsenal but that's waaaaay out of my price range. As for the eleaf, I'm too spoiled with my mechs and hana clone to downgrade lol.

Honestly, after using mechs and DNA devices, it would be hard to go back to a ProVari. Had a few of them, but once I found that the vape quality in the 25 (+/- 3) watt range is what I've been looking for all along...well, it's DNA for 95% of my vaping needs- really no need to look elsewhere at this point for me

I am new to this but I have been wondering what's the point in going over 30 watts anyway?

Is anybody having fun with the wireless charger. Just got my rDNA 40 (which is awesome) + wireless charger base. It seems you have to sit the 40 in exactly the right spot on the charger base, if you're a bit off doesn't charge, if you're slightly off the green base light will come on but it keeps beeping every min like it's not 100% in the right place. Would like to just plonk it down between vapes but it's fiddly to get the exact spot!!

I made this for a charging stand, and so far my rDNA 40 has been working great for just over 2 weeks.

Same problem here.

That's why I did not order the charger from VS, but ordered a different cradle type charger from Amazon. It has 3 coils and can give out up to 1000 mah, and the placement of the phone or the mod will not matter as the coils cover most of the surface of the charger. Granted it was like $35, $15 more than the VS charger, but it resolves 2 issues: placement of whatever you are charging to get it to charge properly and the need to attach the charger to a vertical surface to charge the rDNA without putting it on its side and having to take off the atty.

I have noticed that I have totally stopped using my attys which aren't see thru (e.g. Prometey-I & II, Spheroids). Attys which had dual tank option/s have never been used in their all metal modes (e.g. K'funs). Attys which could be made see thru have been converted with aftermarket clear tanks (e.g. Penelope, Oddy). The only all metal atty I still use is the ESTIA, but never out of home.

Why? B'coz I'm wary of the unknown! I never like to be caught outdoors with an emptying out tank (tho I usually have two devices with me). I like to 'see' the tank is full when grabbing it before leaving the door. And I don't have the time or inclination to top-it-up before going out. Besides, I hate topping up anyway b'coz I rewick with every tank fill, every atty.

This is purely me. I'm not opinionated against all metal tanks, but this is entirely for my convenience. And I'm all about the 21mm form factor for 18xxx devices, the reason why I'm considering the Tilemahos, just that the unavailability of the clear tank is holding me back.

Since you prefer a clear tank for the routine that you find works best for you the Tilemahos is probably not going to suit your needs. A clear tank would mean putting unattractive parts of the interior on display and probably cut juice capacity for the 3.3 ml. tank as well so it doesn't seem likely to me someone would make one. :( Maybe if you ask in GG forum someone might have an idea or two for something that might work perfectly for what you are wanting.

I'm generally not a tank fan. However I wanted something with some juice capacity for on the go and got the Tilemahos because people I trust who use most every device that comes on the market thought well of it. It has not disappointed in providing dripping taste, easy build, no leaking, on the fly air and juice control with no tools needed, fast/easy top fill from a juice bottle all in a compact size. Doubt I would personally be willing to trade any one of those things for a clear tank but its much more important that everyone choose devices based on their own priorities and needs. Best of luck with your quest.

Have built the Tilemahos with Ni200? With or without air control option?

Thanks

I've been building my Tilemahos with AFC using Ni200, 32 gauge, 10 spaced wraps, 3.5 ID which comes out at .38 oHms. More than enough oHmage for breathing room to use on my SX350 mods if I like. I use double insertion cotton wicking but still have to tidy the coils a bit. However, happily, I've found that the Ni200 builds are actually very tolerant of sloppy spacing. I didn't even bother testing the coil for even heating by glowing it lightly for my last coil. It's been working great with no temperature protection weirdness.

Working with 32 gauge wire will probably frustrate most people. No point in using that thin of wire if you are only building for the DNA40.
