Whoa! I tried it just now. Set to celcius then off with wattage set at 5 and it seemed to fire a lot stronger and burnt my wick...

I set it back to fahrenheit then off and also at 5 watts and it hit very very low barely any vape just as it should at that low watt...

Tried it again by going celcius and off at 5 watts and it really fired so much stronger even though it was displaying 5 watts...

I guess thats one confirmation for you... My wick is completely burnt and im gonna rewick now...

Thank you for you time and your sacrifice, it is appreciated!

sorry guys I'm new. I m using 1.8ohm dual coil Aerotank Mega with around 8-9watts. I'm just wondering in what case I need to use 20,30,40W? Because I don't really understand why I need that much power. And one more question please, should I switch to 1.2 ohm instead of 1.8ohm? thank you everyone for the help<3 love u all
You're fine where you are. With your Aerotank around 9W is as high as you can go without burning the coils.

The extra power is just there if you need it in the future with a different setup.

Probably a sub-ohm high airflow design, like an Atlantis, Subtank, or RDA.

Better vaping experience? That depends on what you like, most of the stuff I mentioned is known for a lot of vapor production.

Assuming you have a rdan 40...buy a pack of kanger TSC coils from VS and you will quickly see why at least 20W is needed.

Ok, I think I've finally gotten the short problem figured out (maybe), I guess we'll see what happens, I think it might just be the spring for the 510 pin on the device was just a bit stiff out of the box, understandable.

I was just curious if there was any more updates on the battery gauge indicator on the device. I know I have seen quite a few people say that their indicator always shows full, even though the device has been used a fair bit. Mine also does the same, but wasn't sure if anyone has found a way to correct this. I have pulled my battery out of my device after using it for several hours, thrown it in my charger and seen that it has quite a bit to charge. It's not a huge deal for me, cause I usually carry an extra battery with my when I'm out and about and will swap them out about half way through my day, but having a working battery indicator would really give me a better idea of when I should do that, if at all.

Other than that, and the initially figuring-out of nickel builds, I'm overall quite happy with my new device! Now just waiting for my Lemo to come in, so I can try a nickel build on something other than a dripper!

I get through a full day with the rDNA. But I also plop it on the wireless charging pad whenever it's convenient.

I do carry around 2 spare batts no matter where I go tho; running outta battery reminds me of the days when I had ciggs but no lighter but worse, since it's not everyday you'll meet someone carrying a spare 18650 :p
