So after a long warranty process with vaporshark I got a brand new device back. The vaporshark has caused me so much headache in the past few weeks that I was going to give up on it. Thankfully the new one works as it should. The first one I got had an extremely faulty base reading chip therefore temp control would work on and off, and was always off by about 150F.

Now that the new one is working and sitting pretty, I think I have finally nailed my perfect all day setup. I am done buying for a while lol. I love how small this is in the hands and pocket.

I must have got lucky.
I've got one built Nov 2.
The button looks great, no wear.
The board works as intended (I think).
The battery meter steps down, like it's supposed to.
I probably just jinxed myself:vapor:

Mine's a Nov 12 build and it's been perfect for the last 3 months. There is slight wear on the fire button. No issues.

just curious if everyone who owns a rdna40 is happy with their battery life?

For some reason I am getting maybe 6 hours out of 1 battery before I get "Weak battery" message. I have been vaping @ 400F @ 22 watts with the stock red LG battery.

Does anyone else also feel that if you dont use the device for a pretty good amount of time...say like 5-6 hours, the battery drains while the device is supposedly in sleep mode?

I feel like my pre warranty device could last 20+ hours. But then again it wasnt working properly and was throttling power all day so I would imagine thats why.

Just curious what kind of battery life other owners are getting.

Surprisingly the wrap is holding up better then the silicone(?) coating on the rdna. So actually glad I wrapped mine, cheap way to avoid scratching the heck out of my mod. As I work as an industrial mechanic my mod goes through a rough day at the steel desk at work. It has flaked off some small spots around the battery door, some of the corners, and almost the whole ring that protects the screen. But I love this mod.
The wrap hasn't budged one bit in any of the corners or seams, so the glue must be good.

Can you easily take off the battery cover with the wrap?
I wanted to get a wrap but I change out batteries all the time, so, was not sure if the wrap will allow for that. Thanks.

I'm kinda ...... I was quoted for 10 days to ship and now they're saying 30. :(

At least I got my iStick 50 to play with until then.

Buying from VS is like playing Russian roulette.
It's a great device when you get it but plays havoc on your blood pressure when the processing time jumps up to 30 days after you've already paid for it.

I am assuming that the current orders will be filled within the 10 day projection. All orders placed after the 30 day notification will be subject to the new time frame. At least I hope it will be this way. I ordered an rDNA last Thursday.
