I love the logo. It'd be great to have it on the Shark Skin. I bought the gunmetal rDNA and blue Shark Skin cuz shark gray and water blue. LOL I love lemon sharks. One of my next tattoos will be of one.

Cool stuff. Interesting out of all the sharks you said lemon shark. I did a lot of shark tagging for research on lemon sharks in the Florida Keys.

Ya thats the whole point of the rDNA style for me anyway... micro USB charging! F carrying around spare battery's and chargers. All I need is the same thing I use to charge my cell phone and bam, vaping. Honestly, the 18650 and micro USB are what sold me, I dunno about you guys. Once mine is returned from warrenty work, I never plan to open it again, unless I find a legit VTC5 to swap for that little bit of extra juice.

Update on warranty work: Got my shipping home notice today- They replaced the 510 threading, power pin, new battery (Thought I had a fake) and LED color circle. All replaced and hopefully my issues are fixed now. From mailed to home in about 8days max (including a weekend)

As long as my issue were fixed, Id say that is some top notch service that will get return business.

Edit: Still on the hunt for a Blackberry case or the likes to clip onto my pocket / belt w/e that I can carry this bad boy around with me. I know there is a case like this out there somewhere!

I ordered and use one of these - Amazon.com: Kuteck® Black Heavy Duty Rugged Nylon Canvas Protective Carrying Cell Phone Case Pouch Fits For IPHONE 5 5S 5C 5G w/ Otterbox / Lifeproof Case On. Includes A Black Stylus Pen: Cell Phones & Accessories

That was there before. It makes sense to exclude that since it is due to the design of the chip by Evolv. I do think it unfortunate that if someone did that error it is excluded from repair for a fee by Vaporshark.
Considering how easy it is to add reverse battery protection it does not make any sense not to add it. Evolve had thought their customers would add it, I bet they do not release any more products without it though.

I've had a couple of other devices that don't have reverse battery protection so all of my batteries are marked. I lay down the device and line up the battery before removing the used battery.IMG_20140701_230623_183.jpg

Got mine in a couple of weeks ago. Right out of the box, the screen was pixilated looking. Had to send in for repair.. Should have it back today..

Has anyone else had this problem? Font characters are very jagged and hard to read. Tried a reset and wouldnt work. Took pic and sent in to VS. They said send it in to us for repair..

Hope it is fixed when I get it back today.. Bummer.. waited so long to get it just to be saddened when it got to me.. Oh well, things happen.. It worked well but couldnt read screen very well..

Will update later today..

Haha yep John will certainly add the reverse battery protection on his next chip. Hindsight is always 20/20. That company has sure changed vaping for the better. I lay the battery next to the one I am swapping too. What did you use for those bands on your batteries. Is that battery shrink wrap? Those look nice and clean. Were they precut from somewhere?

Mine took some time to arrive as well. Ordered on the last day of the shark week promo. Was scheduled to ship on or before 8/21. That date came and no shipment. Then all of a sudden they went in backorder until 8/26. On 8/23 my order went from processed to complete and I had a tracking number. Took 3 days to get from one sort center to another that was 14 miles away. It finally arrived on the 27th. It was well worth the wait. Love this thing. Swapped out the VTC4 for a VTC 5 and I am a happy camper.

Here's a new one for you. I charge my rDNA (with Sharky Skin) in the morning, when I first get up. Enjoying my vape (while charging) with a cup or two of java. I have been doing this now for 3 days and thought I was feeling an odd sensation. Well this morning I did some more testing and realized I was getting a small shock on my lip as I began each vape. I;m using a Nautilus tank with a stainless drip tip. So I guess my lip is creating a ground for the charger. It's a small shock but when I disconnect the charger it goes away. Many mods use the body as the ground for the circuit to be completed. But I think in this case it's the outside ground of the usb port touching the body of the rDNA thats the probable culprit. The shock is too small to be a hazard (unless your on oxygen maybe). But annoying non the less.

Has anyone else experienced this? I could change to a delrin drip tip I suppose.

No doubt...most of the shipping time was going from the local post office VS drops them off at to the sort center on the other side of town. But after having it a couple weeks now its easily my favorite device.

Mine does not do this. I tried with a Nautilus and Nautilus mini. Both with metal drip tips.

Mine doesnt do that using metal tip while charging.

How do I turn this thing on?

I finally have it by the way :p but I can't get the sucker to turn on or fire or anything.

If the standard 5 clicks of the fire button doesn't work, then one of the battery terminals has been bent during shipping. This will cause the battery to not make contact. Open the battery door and bend the battery terminal strips out a bit so they make contact with the battery.

What kind of charger are you using?

Got a multimeter? It would be interesting to see what's really going on there.
