Just sent Three Dukes an e-mail ... I have two favorites from them: "The Emperor" and "The Gypsy" ... I ordered "The Emperor" last weekend, and I no longer see it on their website. Panicking. One of my new favorite flavors! They've been known to play with their names, hoping it was just a rename...

Anyway ... excuse my random thoughts. To keep it on topic: I haven't used anything but my VS rDNA since I received it late August. As some have mentioned thus far: Once the laws change, I will marry it. We're inseparable.

I need to stay OFF this forum....spending too much money..lol...receiving my aspire mini nautlis today and just ordered some juice from nicoticket....I am hoping the mini nautilis will work well for me when i travel so that i don't need to fuss with coils and wick like with my kayfun lite plus(that i love)...will let you know later on today....

just got my rDNA about a week ago, I have only had time to try out my Kayfuns on it, and love it. But I want to try to sub-ohm, I do not know the specs on the rDNA. I notice that the laowest watts is 7.
I have a Veritas and a plume veil, and would like to build a .5 or .8 , dual coil with 24ga or 28ga kanthal wire.
Does anybody know if this machine will handle that?
I do not know the specs on this machine, and have not spent time to find out, so maybe one you guys might know.

Thanks for your information.

0.5 ohm or higher. Currently running my Magma with dual coils at .8 ohms between 25-30 watts on my RDNA.

Grats Cappy24, ya, despite Russian and Erlkonigin, I still use nautilus as well. I like a few tanks filled by my side. Im actually going to try Rip Tripper's BVC rebuild tonight. looks small n tricky.. but if it adds to the flavor.. then cant be bad!

I run a 50/50 mix of cr crimmy's creme brulee and SOD in the nautilus.. yum. seperate not as great, but mixing the two for me... very good.

just heads up with the less expensive juices.. like crimmy's and whitelabeljuice.. price is very good.. but they have needed like a month of steeping to get to where I use em. but they are good once ya do that. those cheaper juices are mixed at order.. so.. ya.. they need steeping...

and I tend to get 70v/30p or higher for tanks.. the max vg's just dont carry the flavor as well in a tank as they do for drippers... in my experience..

It really was easier than I thought. Not that this is an amazing build by any means, but it's definitely working. measures at 0.7 ohms. I think I've still got to get the wicking down better and obviously the wraps as well. I need a good pair of tweezers. Thanks man!

You're right where you want to be on the build, .7-.8 ohms is great! Crank it to 23-25 watts and prepare to be amazed:vapor: Get a good pair of ceramic tipped tweezers with fine points. They are extremely useful :D

So, on the hunt for the perfect balance, I was screwing around with the steam coil calculator, plugged in the Evolv DNA30D which is what we have afaik, and it gave me a "sweet spot" of 1.53ohms. Now, is that for running at max power (30W)? I built a new coil, 10 wraps on a 3/32 bit, perfect build that clocked in right at 1.54 and cranked it up to 30w for ....s. Not only is my coil going crazy at this level (hot legs, coil turning red hot full juiced w/ 100% VG no flavor) so, this is not for me, or I didn't build it right. Back down to 17W now and everything is ok.

What have you guys found if this things "sweet spot" build/power wise? I'm having a bad case of vapor tongue atm, and nothing seems to cure it cept when I went to 30W, I actually choked for the 1st time and am kinda dizzy.

I redid the coils once I got home and didn't have to rush, they look a lot better now. And 0.7 again. Flavor on this thing is incredible, I really HAVE been missing out. :O
