LOL you are psychic, I just tried with 4 chargers, an iphone charger, an ipad charger, logitech charger, and an anker charger, along with the oem usb cable, a 3rd party cable, an amazon cable, and a monoprice cable, and all have similar results (although some combo's result in lower/higher results)

Ok, I tried several different outlets (on different breakers), and I tested it in my car, and it still happens. Also, using the "highest reading combo" (which just happens to be the oem cable and the anker charger) I also get a shock on the hana modz. So it is NOT just a vaporshark issue. If someone has a multimeter with an rdna and kfl, could they test it?

And in more than one wall plug I am assuming. Darn was hoping it would be an easy fix. It shouldn't be shorting like that. Only other thing is open it up and check to make sure your battery section is dry of ejuice. That is a major bummer. Guess you could email or call Vaporshark about it. Grimacing as I type that. Super sorry to hear about your headaches.

lol too slow newport. My place is not particularly static-y (heck I dont even have carpet, its concrete). I have to say, it does make me feel better knowing that this is NOT just a vaporshark issue, as my hana also gives a reading. I did read another post recently about how someone said their battery life is better now that they take the atty's off their box mod when not in use. Maybe this is why? Also checked the readings on the mech mods both standing and firing and the readings are 0. Also I do have 3 multimeters, a cheapo chinese one, a cheap amazon one, and a nicer fluke model.

Just tried my svoemesto kayfun lite plus v2 with my RDNA plugged in. No shock. Maybe some others will have some ideas.
I think you said this was on different toppers that you tried.

just tested it again with my nautilus mini and I do get a shock and a reading of .45 ac mA and .04 dc mA. My full size nautili are disassembled and drying just to make sure.

Still seems odd to me. I never thought it was a static issue. Never had that experience on my vaporshark. I leave my attys on mine with no loss of charge. Only time I had your experience there was a little water on the floor in my Boston Whaler and the outboard engine wasn't grounded properly. I got zapped up the steering cable into my stainless steering wheel great fun. If you haven't yet do make sure the battery tray is dry of ejuice. I vape mine plugged in with no issues. I will definitely be following your situation with interest. Hope you resolve it.

That's pretty lame, man. I hope you figure it out/get it fixed.

Sigh. Hopefully some other resident gurus will have some ideas. It would be nice to avoid sending it in.

Its definitely NOT just a vaporshark issue as my authentic hana modz v3 does this as well (although not as strong a shock). I'm upset that my multimeter reads anything to be honest. There should be NOTHING there.

no more testing devices for shock tonight, as my bottom lip is getting sore. Will update tomorrow afternoon when my bud brings his authentic kfl+ over to check. Will have him bring a multimeter as well (although I doubt all 3 of mine are defective)
I had this problem as well and was posted on this thread. I solved mine by changing charger.

Make sure you are using a 5v1amp wall plug If you are using a 5v2.1a Wall plug it will cause this.

Just a quick (very small) warning to people using the rdna with the ehpro kfl...........

IT'S SHOCKING

LITERALLY

I just shocked myself on my lip. With my upper lip on my glass drip tip, my lower lip made contact with the kfl atty (at the very top where it meets the drip tip) and i got a shock. an electrical shock (it was a continuous shock, not a quick zap). This happened while it was charging.

I noticed a couple things

I was able to replicate this with all 5 of my kfls, but not my nautilii

The shock was less when I took it off the charger

The shock was also less when I took off the shark skin (this happened using both shark skins I have)

I think it has something to do with an electrical charge up on the atty itself, maybe static? Once I removed the shark skin, and rubbed the rdna for a good minute, and put the kfl, the shock was gone, even with the shark skin back on and charged.

I tested this with 8 mods and an authentic hana modz v3 (which is wrapped with a vinyl skin, maybe this is why it didnt do it?) and ONLY the vaporshark/kayfun combo caused this. I was able to replicate this AT WILL. I've never had anything like this happen before. Just be careful on any static/electrical build up. I did a brief search on the forum and on google and could not find anything like this. If i placed both lips directly on the atty (with and without the drip tip attached) there was no charge.
