I scratched the top of my Vaporshark with the airflow screw from my kayfun >_< Definitely have to remember to use the Lite plus v2 with the 2 airholes on it since I don't adjust those screws at all...

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I have all my AFC screws in my tool box if I ever want to sell something, but I run mine without the AFC. Very happy with the results.

You don't have to worry about leaking?

I forgot how far out I had it and it made a nice click when it hit the airflow channel. It's barely noticeable but I know it's there!

No leaking at all. When you first set up a new build you might have a tiny bit in the channel you have to clear just like what can happen with the screw in, but once you have it clear it won't leak at all. Works much better. I will never run it with the screw again. A side note. I see people top fill, and I know the tricks, but I always bottom fill through the fill screw port. Works out much better. Anyway try it without the AFC screw. You will thank me.

Lol I hear you. I am actually quite surprised myself. I figured by Tuesday or at the very latest Wednesday. The we will ship immediately, no we will ship by 8/21 or earlier to the we will ship within ten days. Changing their word three times. Even the latest site banner promise of within ten days. They would have to ship tomorrow to keep their word.

Are those legit / trusted sellers or a crap shot?

Definitely a trusted seller. I've bought quite a bit from RTD including several vtc5's. They have quite a few great products including sony, AW and Xtar. Really fast shipping also. Great CS! :D

It really sucks that you guys are still waiting. I was lucky and had ordered mine at the very beginning of "shark week" and it shipped really quickly. I hope you decide the wait was worth it and you love the device when it arrives. Doesn't make the waiting any easier. :(

I agree completely. If it wasn't such a great product I would say cancel and move on. Buuuuut it is so hang in there. It will be worth it!! :D

Still can't get enough of this thing ... obsessed is the best word I can use to describe the situation. Those of you still waiting; I feel your pain, but trust me, it's worth it!

Also, still can't get enough of my new Kayfun Lite, my first RBA. After about 2-3 tries, I believe I've perfected the micro-coil. My first build looked good but flavor was burnt, opened it up and realized that I had forgotten to lower the coil, it was a relative mile above the air inlet. Additionally my cotton was way too tight and twisted through the coil (it basically flaked away from it in ashes). Rebuilt it (need all the practice I can get) and nailed it with a 1.6ohm micro coil sitting barely above the air inlet with loose/sparse cotton through the coil and ends resting against the side of the block. I have some Japanese cotton arriving on Friday so can't wait to re-wick with that stuff, though can't see it getting much better than it already is now... flavor is amazing.

Anyway... thanks for reading my "newb-but-all-in" rants once again. Eight weeks in and off the nasty nicotine lozenges and I'm having some fun with this shtuff... definitely a new hobby.

I scratched mine the first day I got it with the fill screw from my Fogger. I thought the screw was below flush, but the swaging burrs on the screw head were above flush and put a pretty gnarly scratch around the 510 connector.

I've since polished the screw off, but I'm not terribly worried about the scratch. It looks really bad, but only with the tank off (even eGo-sized tanks hide it) and this thing is going to get much worse than that the ways and places I use it (I've already forgotten it in my backhoe bucket, rattling around with an axe.) I bought a durable mod for a reason.
