completely agree, except now I am hopelessly addicted to temperature protection, for both vape consistency and health - it's like anything else, you better not try it, or you just can't go back!

will there be a little VS-DNA40 version?

I do hope they make one. B'coz I seriously like that form factor better than the rDNA's.

I TOTALLY agree with Q and KTM.

The VS DNA30 is a fantastic little device. I have a Vaporskin on it and I don't go anywhere without it!!

It wasn't that long ago that it cost $169......$99 is a steal!

I say go with another one. I bought a DNA30 to compliment the rDNA40 and I have others that I play with to modify but don't rely on.

Good call.

I love my VS-DNA30. Use it everyday, carry it everywhere. It is a far better device in the [ever so popular] iStick form factor. Better on both counts ~ build quality as well as reliability.

With the current pricing there's no better APV in the market in this quality profile imho. And I thus seriously feel everyone should grab one till they can. It is a dinky li'l dependable fella!

Ps.: Nearly a year in use - not a single speck, smear, ding or scratch except for where the atty rests.

I heard "somewhere" about a 25 watt temp protect Shark with the DNA30 form factor.

Reverse polarity is not an issue for the DNA30. It has a 1300mAh lipo battery that's not user replaceable.

i would have cancelled my order a while ago for my rdna40 and just pick up a 30, but the issues with the bad paint and the no reverse polarity protection irks me. still a good device but has its flaws. i might get one later though as some sort of backup if i ever get my rdna40 shipped

hoping my cybermonday order ships today. dont think im gona be able to wait another week if it doesnt ship this week, been eyeing a few other mods already

Not gonna lie, I've started to eye Hana Modz instead. I really don't want to spend that much in the first place, but I figured it "F it, it isn't that much more than I already paid for a Rdna I still don't have." Doesn't hurt that I far prefer the form factor of the Hana too.

Oh well.
First world problems..

yeah, ive been trying to find possible a dna40 hana mod 'style', i just cant get myself to buy the original one because of that ugly logo they smack on it, not to mention the 'z' in modzmakes it even tackier imo. but thats just me. i been looking at some hana mod cases on fasttech and i believe they are only 20$, might look into building my own dna40

Yeah, I've got a evolv 40 board coming and the FS cases will work, but for the large screen you have to open up the window. That will leave a shiny edge on the window. I would suggest a black or silver box. Black marker will work for the black boxes and silver should blend in.

oh havent thought of the bigger screens on the 40 boards. depending on how much the small window blocks off the display i might just stick it in there without modifying it. If it hinders the view too much to the point where im not able to tell whats on the screen, i might just grab the beyondvape smithbox mod, i dont really have the tools to cut stuff it would just look like a hack job.

Just poked around Vapor Shark's site and noticed the shipping delay is now 10 days and they have the black shark skin available again. I went ahead and ordered another rDNA 40 and shark skin. Been using my rDNA 40 for almost 2 weeks now and have pretty much quit using my Provaris and other mods. I am loving this device. The rDNA 40 paired with my Lemo or Subtank is the perfect setup for me.

So now USPS is slacking. I don't think my rDNA 40 will get here today like its supposed to...
Mine shows it leaving Florida Sunday morning but I'm still holding out hope. USPS tracking is not always updated. I have had stuff delivered and two days later the tracking catches up. Anyway I'm off to work until 9 or 10 tonight and it would be nice to have a new toy when I get home.

Anybody get any Cyber Monday shipping emails today? I haven't yet, but damn if I'm not getting excited.

Mine is on the USPS delivery truck for delivery now. I'm home sick today from work and looking forward to getting my grubby hands on it to compare to my SXMini that came on Friday.
