OMG I love my Shark!
Noticed I was getting a pretty weak vape. Checked & it said battery low so I plugged it into the charger.
I don't think it took an hour for this thing to fully charge. Took me 1/2 that amount of time to decide what I was going to use while it was chraging.
+1 for zip charging!!

I need some help please. I bought a rdna40 of a member here and when I put my rda on and hit the button nothing happens the screen stays off. I plug it in and hit the button and the screen comes on but I see nothing in the ohms and it should read 0.93 just the watts and the temp setting. This rdna40 I got for a friend and I also have one. The rda works just fine on mine but not on this one. Is there some sort of setting I need to change? I think the previous owner was using Nickel but I thought it auto detected. Hopefully something I just need to change. Thanks in advance.

I just hope it's not another conductivity problem. I'm currently dealing with something similar myself...

Ok I figured out how to turn temp setting off. However it only turns on when plugged into usb. The battery bar and the led indicate that the battery is full. If it isn't plugged in and I hit the button nothing happens.
Is it in "Stealth Mode"? Menu directions can be found here.

The only other thing that I can think of is to remove the battery for a few minutes. Hopefully it will behave normally when it reboots.
Positive end goes closest to the screen. Should be marked on the battery tray. DNA40 has reverse polarity protection, so it shouldn't fry anything if you insert it backwards.

Thanks for your help. I can't find my batteries still living out of boxes after moving. Sucks because I got this for a friend I only see on the weekends. Plus I was really proud of setting up his tugboat with my first coil build ever and it came out great.
Congrats on your first coil build. I just did my first twisted coil build yesterday and it came out awesome too. It looked like one of Kiwi's coils and I was tempted to take a picture. LOL. I'm sure your friend will love it!

Well I fiddled a bit more with the 510 connection with a bit of tape and tried a couple other things, but no real success. I think I've given up on having any hope of fixing this myself. I'm just gonna wait until I hear back from VS as far as what to do next, whether that be sending it in, or whether or not they have a better idea of how to fix it. I just don't want to go to town on it, just to end up voiding my warranty. Thanks to the holiday tomorrow, probably gonna have to wait until Tuesday to hear back from them.
Lol. Just be patient and send it in asap. Call them to expedite the process.
