Variable Voltage and Touch Switch?

Oh wow David. I order the P18 and then read this thread again. Well, I will be happy with the mechanical switch I am sure and that is why i did buy it partly.

Funny someone mentioned finding that switch when it is on the side! My Precious mod can be somewhat challenging to use in the dark. The sensor is so small I have a hard time finding it. Once I acquire it no prob though. Saber touch addresses that I think with the raised area for the touch sensor. I know the developer of Precious is coming out with some serious update soon.

David, if you want a tester on your touch prototype PV, let me know. I'll sign a NDA no problem.

A touch censor on the lip area (like a special T-Tip for the mod)... I know very very improbable (no where to really house it and would have to some how cover the atty... but would be very very unique and awesome.

i would be carefull with the touch sensor, i had the precious and the saber touch, and both need to be reworked and improved ,any moisture on these switch they go to hell real quick,if your sweating or high humidity out they wont turn off, it is a good idea but alot of improvement have to take place before i would consider purchasing a touch sensor mod again

I haven't seen too many "bad" reports wrt the precious line (touch sensor) but the Sabre Touch seems to find it's way to the classifieds within days of purchase.

this very last batch of precious was a disaster,i spoke to 3 other people that had the same issues as i did, and im not going to mess with it i just sent mine back for a full refund

I really like my ST. It doesnt hit as strong as the GLV 5v but it is a very nice mod and seems very well built. I think it is the size that some dont like..

Not sure what it is, but we will never know either now ill we. It would be nice though, so folks could factor in an educated guess. IMHO it is not coincidental. I won't discuss it in the classifieds but...

please dont think im knocking the build quality of these mods ,im not ,the precious i almost cried when these problems happened,i couldnt believe it,and it did fit nice in the hand,sabretouch was ok nothin bad , it was the touch sensor that didnt seem to work right,they tend to fire if they touch something when there sitting, one i couldnt get to shut off, thats why i said great idea but just not there yet
